This place is fun. The French fries are fat and crinkly. This is a chain that once was very popular in London. I ate my first Wimpy Burger in Stockholm Sweden. Of course you can make a better burger at home but these are cheap and fun. read more

I love this little spot! The food is always amazing and the owner is very kind. You can done in but it's small. The decorations are great.

Just a small little burger joint with counter service and a few tables. The menu consists of a variety of sliders, hot dogs, some chicken items, and your classic side items. The service was excellent. The employees that I encountered seemed generally happy to be working there. That helped to create a nice vibe for the whole place. I ordered two cheese burger sliders and onion rings and thought everything was excellent. The sliders are the largest that I've had anywhere and I'm almost positive that the onion rings are handmade in house. Definitely worth stopping in if you are in the Flat Rock area. read more

This place lives up to its name. The burgers and facility were indeed 'wimpy' in size. The food was cheap and tasty but the service left something to be desired. The girl that helped take my order was not exactly rude but gave off the air of impatience as I was keeping her from the conversation with a father and son(?) sitting further down the counter. We were heading through the area to another part of Ohio and needed a quick snack for lunch and potty break before hopping on the freeway. This place seemed to be a drive through until we realized it was just decoration and to order you must go inside. The building was exceptionally small with a single bathroom . The food was already prepared after a quick trip to the restroom and we got the food to go. Surprisingly the chicken fingers were more delicious than expected but the burger was just average. Granted the girl did recommend getting something other than a single burger. All in all a decent little whole in the wall kinda place. read more

YES! We'd heard the food was good here so we finally got a chance to try it while visiting from out of town. Not sure which impressed me more- the food or the service! Both were excellent! The burgers were cooked perfectly, and delicious. And so many different kinds to choose from. They are a nice size of slider and very reasonably priced. We got fries, onion rings and fried pickles and they, too, we're just right-not greasy at all! We we're a group of 5 and had our food within about 10 minutes. Such a pleasant meal! read more

Been checking out this restaurant online and have been wanting to go. Today seemed like the day to go. We ordered a couple orders of the 6x cheese burger, fries and a bowl of chili. We couldn't wait to get home to eat and started eating burgers in the car. Then got to eat everything else when we got home. Everything was great tasting. The service was great and very friendly. First time..Non franchise serves food similar to white castles but much better. Prices rock, 2 people are full for under $13. Ordered the 6 burgers, large fry and large onion ring. My son & father tried Wimpy's 2 weeks ago. My son insisted on this past snow day we go. All I can say is try Wimpy's. My wife and I was looking for something to eat drove by the diner. Then turned around pulled in they were packed with only two seats left they took the order which came out in no time at all. My wife had two mini burgers and onion rings and I had two doubles and and fries. They were some of the best burgers I've had in a long time. read more

When they first opened up.... the food was good with an old fashioned flavor just like the old days. We went this evening and food was terrible and not worth ever going back. They must have new cooks that simply don't care. We ordered 8 small wimpy cheeseburgers ( they forgot the cheese.) 2 orders of onion rings which were terrible. Instead of nice hot fat onion rings we got over cooked, half burned crumbled pieces with a few rings thrown in a carry out box. Total letdown. Small hole in the wall slider place. Only been here this one time so limited experience. Got a double cheeseburger and tatorbarrels? The cheeseburger was a pretty good slider, nice amount of pickles which was a surprise. The tator barrel is five big tator tot looking things with a blend of cheese onion and bacon inside. It was pretty good but needs a dipping sauce and should be ordered as an appetizer not a side. Not happy w the drink. Hate it when a place fills the cup with ice and you end up with 25% pop and 75% ice, total rip off. If you want a good slider stop in! I'll be back to try chili burger next time. read more

I love this place so much. It is small and quaint, kind of like a 50s style diner. The staff are always very friendly, they greet you the moment you walk in and very attentive while you are dining in. This place has some of the best sliders I have ever had. They come out piping hot and fresh each time, and the fries are perfect, golden and crispy. I will definitely be a frequent visitor after discovering this tiny hometown gem. read more

What a fun fun place to go eat, I recommend the donut burger however the egg burger is good too and you can add bacon to anything it's a really great place for a burger and a shake, they have carry out eating as well and I'm sure I can cater to your wedding as long as it's a small wedding....ok maybe not but ask them who knows? read more

5 stars for a quick bite for lunch - I had a chili dog which was actually really good - with a nice and snappy casing. The owner said it was a Dearborn hot dog. Very nice burgers fries & selection of drinks. Low prices and food is hot and fresh. Service is friendly and attentive. Cute little counter joint I used to visit when I was a kid, so for me it has a nostalgic view. Glad someone opened it back up! read more
