(Though, what doesn't, lol) I came in here looking for a shirt that would be flattering, kind of modest and covering my stomach, and make me feel pretty -while being not too flashy. Kind of ridiculously picky, right? Not to these saleswomen! Three of them walked around with me, talked to me, joked with me. They didn't care that I was smelly fresh from the gym or opinionated on everything. In the end I ended up looking at a blue sparkly shirt, unsure how I'd look in it- and a saleswoman came up to me, told me she had it, and told me how she styled it. She helped me pick the right size and made me feel so good about myself, though I'm not a standard "sample size." When I walked in, clearly nervous, the woman folding clothes at the front said, "Come right in. You're in the right place. This is what we are here for!" A+. I know it's salespeople's jobs to be kind and sell stuff, but they went above and beyond with customer experience. They made me feel beautiful when I never do. And not judged. Great experience. Most places have the top and bottom as one size and sold together. Torrid, sells their swimsuits separately, which is a bit more expensive but totally worth it. I ordered online and it was a 40% off sale day. Fantastic! However when it arrived, the top was just a bit too small. I drove out the the Maine mall and asked if they would take an online return. They did, and I got a tip that was 2 sizes bigger. The person at the register seems apprehensive about the online return at first. However once she realized, she was very kind and asked if I wanted to try the new top on. It's a good thing I did, because it was too large. I finally got one that was just the right size. Perfect for me! So I was very happy to have had a great experience and this is my 3rd torrid bathing suit, they really are very nice for the big ladies. Everything is covered, and held in, nice and snatched. lol. If you're a little on the plus side, check them out! Wonderful !

The seamstress had added pea-sized buttons on my derrière, where buttons did not previously exist. Jacqueline was not only quick to respond, but was able to fix my problem in less than 15 minutes. This, I see, as a victory, because the seamstress who I went to in the first place had looked me dead in the eye when I told her I didn't like the outcome of my dress, and asked her to remove the buttons, and said "I can't do that. It's sewn on." Jacqueline was not only pleasant to chat with as she quickly brought me back from wedding nightmare dreamscape, but she walked me through exactly what she was doing. Her space was cozy and clean. Her attitude was very welcoming and funny. She is clearly an expert in the space. This Michael's is similar to the rest with zillions of different items for every conceivable arts or craft project. Most of the stores are also very seasonal and during the holidays offer special items and weird things for just about anything you can think of. I like this particular store because it is large, clean and has very friendly and useful staff. There is just so much stuff that it can be difficult to find certain obscure items, but the employees that were asked always knew exactly where to find what we were looking for. A wonderful store for crafty and creative people. If you can't find what you need for a project in this store then it probably doesn't exist.

The clips were not shipped as I was told they would be on 8/26. I had to drive to the store - 30 minutes - to check status. They were still just sitting here. I waited weeks for engraving that never happened. I waited weeks more for shipping that never happened. Not once did the store contact me. Not once did they do what they committed to doing. I will not, again, work with this jeweler.

The shoes I wanted to get my daughter weren't in stock, so they ordered them for me in store to be shipped to my home. They also honor a military discount, which doesn't happen at many places anymore. Another point to bring up is that I was shopping with one of my friends that did want speak English very well, but every employee in the store tried so hard to communicate with him in Spanish.
