Wilson's Plumbing - highly recommended! Our sewer line was backing up, Friday evening no less. I spoke with Wilson's first thing Saturday morning - that I was able to speak with someone directly was already big plus. They arrived Saturday afternoon and cleared the blockage. They were responsive, professional, courteous, on-time, did good work and provided a clear explanations of options going forward w/o any pressured up-sell - we are very pleased. read more

We had a very simple plumbing job and the technician was on time and personable. The job was done and though the sink is draining slow he said that it could not be improved unless more equipment was brought to the job site. I noticed that the carpet was very dirty next to where he was working. The technician said it couldn't have been him since his shoes (work boots) were clean, but offered to clean the carpet which I declined. I called who I presumed to be the owner of the company who said he heard from the technician and he is very honest so the carpet must have been been dirty before he got there. He said "what do you want me to do rip up the check?". Then proceeded to rant at me at why I was calling and ended the call by telling me he didn't give a sh&%it about what I thought because I wasn't important. Hopefully he actually does rip up the check - not for the dirty carpet, but for the rude behavior. The plumbing job was fine, but the lack of respect was mind-blowing. read more

I have used Wilson's, at my home in Marin County, for more than 9 years, and have been very pleased. Jakob, and his brother Lucas, are prompt, very competent and quick when at the job. Every visit has resulted in getting the problem fixed promptly, and reasonably. You will be satisfied with the work and their attention to detail, like removing shoes if requested, cleaning up after the job, etc, is quite good. Highly recommended! read more

Unfortunately having a home plus a rental has given me the unfortunate opportunity of needing to use their services many times (old plumbing, 70 yr house...). I've never used Wilson's Plumbing but stopped by to say that if you're going to drive like a maniac and ride two inches behind me on a busy freeway, maybe don't do it in a truck with your company name all over it. As an Estate Manager, I have dealt with my fair share of difficult and shady contractors. When I met Jakob, I knew I would never have that worry! He's great at his craft, professional, and always has such a nice demeanor. He is very honest and has saved my clients a lot of money. And in the neighborhoods I work in, contractors tend to try and mark up their bill. I would recommend Jakob in a heart beat! And his brother Lucas is also a great guy to have on the job. If I could leave this place a negative star I would! The first time we used this company was at the suggestion of our Realtor for initial home inspection. We were told that even though our sewage line is old (roots growing into it) all we really need to go is to get it snaked 2 times a year. When we finally moved into the house, wanting to be loyal customers we called Wilson's to come out and snake the line. The guy did and told my husband and father in law that the line seemed clear and he wasn't getting much resistance. My father in law tried to get in to snake the line inside but he came up with some reason not to, so we figured its fine since he snaked the sewage line outside and said we were good to go. Two weeks later the plumbing backed up into our shower and toilet on a Friday night. I called and left a message, since they claim to be 24/7, asking for someone to come out or call us ASAP since we only have one bathroom and cannot shower or use the bathroom until it is fixed. I also called first thing Saturday morning, and once again, no answer or call back. Guess they aren't 24/7?? Luckily another company came out to help us out and fixed our problem. They told us that we had a hard debris clog, which was probably built up over time (not within two weeks) but they cleared it to the city sewage. And they said if we continue to have problems to please call them back and they will fix it for free. Today I called Wilson's to discuss my frustration with their work two weeks prior and Jake pretty much told me that they can't guarantee their work, which is weird because it has only been 14 days. He continues to tell me that we probably have an old line, which i agree with being that my house was built in 1955, and that snaking a drain is only temporary. In his words meaning that it can solve my problems for months or just a few days. Wow, $200 worth of work just to solve my problems for 2 weeks. Jake was pretty rude on the phone and didn't seem to want to help in any way. Not only am I never using them again, I will make sure our Realtor stops using them as well for future home buyers. read more

We had a major drainage issue in our house with water backing up into the bathtub and toilet right the day we got back from vacation. After calling about a dozen plumbers, someone gave me Wilson's number and Jacob was just so very helpful. He tried to get as much information as he could over the phone and decided it could be a minor fix and he could squeeze me in. Lucas came perfectly on time and an hour later all was fixed and I was super happy with their professionalism, kindness and knowledge. My wife and I have been using Wilson's plumbing for over 13 years and at three different houses in Marin. I can not say enough good things about their service and professionalism. We have used them for large jobs (full remodels) to small problems and they have always been right there and taken care of us. Jacob is fantastic and will do his very best to get to your house as quickly as humanly possible, even going so far as offering to come by and look at a problem at 11:00 pm at night as he was wrapping up another ASAP job. As part of our home purchase inspection Jake from Wilson Plumbing came out to test if the radiant heat would work (it hd been disconnected in years gone by). He determined that the system was still in excellent shape so the first thing we did upon closing was get Jake back to install a new big combination boiler to run the radiant heat and hot water system. He and his brother did a great job, worked hard and had the system up and running in 1.5 days. Price was good, they were very pleasant to have around the house, always punctual and left their workspace clean and tidy. Now we can remove the ugly, inefficient baseboards, and enjoy the radiant. read more

I had a clogged sink that I had tried to fix myself but no luck. Jacob came out the same day I called. Very nice guy, we talked about the problem. He fixed it with a 50 foot snake which cleaned out 14 years of black crud. No fuss, no muss. Cleaned up afterwards. I just wanted make sure to give Wilson Plumbing a shout out -- I am that impressed by their service. I've contacted your company on two different occasions and interacted with two different employees and each time was impressed by their knowledge and professionalism and grateful for their integrity and honesty. The first time I called was late on a Friday afternoon with a toilet emergency that no one else (and I called a more than a few companies) wanted to deal with. Jacob talked to me and actually helped me fix the problem over the phone. I was so impressed I kept their info and the next time I needed a plumber I called Wilson Plumbing. This time around Luke came and, again, I am very impressed. Luke is knowledgeable, friendly, helpful, timely and did the project swiftly and thoroughly. Inviting strangers into my house can feel risky sometimes so when a worker comes in that is so personable and trustworthy it really eases my mind. Jacob and Luke were so thorough that I assumed they were both Wilsons and part of the family owned business. It was surprising to learn that they aren't. I hope their boss appreciates them!
