I have purchased from Wilson Bates for 30 years. We have purchased bedroom sets, living room sets, dining room sets and mattresses. I will pay a delivery fee. They are very careful when setting up the furniture. I have needed a few fixes. They picked up the sofa sleeper and repaired and returned the product. Have called multiple times for a service schedule or an answer in regards to a washer with extended warranty that only wash's in cold. No one will do anything for me. Everytime I call they say they will make it right then ghosts me. Tells me it's not their issue. They only sell them. Apparently they just sell the but don't back up the warranty.. probably never buy a machine from this joke of a store ever again. read more

Wilson Bates sold us a $1600 dishwasher that proved to be broken upon installation. Two months after installation, we finally had a repair person look at it, order parts, and let us know it'll be another 4 weeks before installation. Upon letting Wilson Bates know of the situation, I wasn't offered an apology or even sincere remorse. Instead, their appliance manager spoke to me as if he didn't care and their minimal efforts were there standard of customer service. I ended up hanging up after he encouraged me to go elsewhere for future purchases. I most definitely will never return. read more

We have been customers for over 30yrs. We went in today to buy a dishwasher. We found a Bosch for $1000 but walked out the door without it, because I'm not willing to pay $50 to have it delivered. They lost out on a $1000 today and 30yr customers for a lifetime! It's pretty bad when the big box stores out customer service the small businesses, but I guess that's why the big box stores are packed with people and Wilson Bates was empty. read more

I arrived here earlier today to purchase a king bedroom set. The woman who helped us (faye), was friendly and welcoming. I chose a king bedroom set and she was helpful in discounting the prices as a group of furniture. I was very impressed with the quality of the furniture and the friendliness of the employees. The prices are on the higher side...although, you are paying for quality. I will definitely be back when purchasing any furniture in the future. Purchased a loveseat with the center console, as well as another loveseat in February 2021 it was delivered, after sitting on it for that night it just wasn't very comfortable for us, so we called the next day and asked them if we could trade, get a different couch or what have you, they said not a problem went and looked again, didn't find anything that we liked so we ask for a refund, they came to pick up our couch in the middle of March after repeatedly not picking it up when they were supposed to, upon getting it back to their warehouse they never called us for a week week and a half, we called them they said oh there's a problem with the couch it has a burn on it we did not burn the couch ,when they picked it up if there was a burn, the Man should have noted that,I would have thought in the place that they say it was burned by us but we had no flame fire or anything around it so then they wanted to hold our money for a while longer to charge us about $200 because of the burn,well I would say that if my delivery man or Warehouse people burned it I would not admit to it either, obviously, they say their man has been there for around 20 years well then he should have identified it and wrote up a piece of paper that said it was damaged before they ever picked it up and took it out of our house we would never send a damaged piece of furniture back, we had video from inside our house showing when they picked it up that there was no burn in that area but yet they refuse to believe it so we ended up paying to get our money back I would not recommend this company again we've bought from Wilson Bates for over 30 years not again the people (Brenda)that was in there was very unprofessional to my wife, basically calling her a liar, it's now the middle of May and we're still waiting on our refund to get put back on our credit card, we will not be recommending Wilson Bates to any of our friends, family or anyone else again which over the years has been quite a bit of money for furnishing houses in there (their loss. )DON'T SHOP THERE!!! read more

They are certainly NOT RC Willey by any stretch of the word. Bought a W & D and they not only wanted to charge us $30 for the cord etc but then wanted to charge us another $30 delivery fee and we live in town. RC Willey charges $59 for a year of delivery and Home Depot, Lowe's etc... Charge nothing for delivery. With the new Ashley Furniture opening up we are going to check them out for future purchases. Wilson Bates is acting like they are the only game in town. There is a lot of competition around and WB might want to reconsider their policies. read more

I should've wrote this review a year ago. I bought a new house and needed many new furniture items. So within a few months I bought a couch set, mattress and box spring set from their discount store. Fridge, washer and dryer from the main store. Customer service was amazing received discounts and free delivery. Will be purchasing again from them this fall. read more

I bought furniture from them and loved it at first. Then my recliner broke. It took them forever to even respond to our warranty claim. Then when they did they had my chair for 2 months! They had the part to fix it after 2 weeks yet it took them another 6 weeks to get it repaired!! Then when they brought it back it had bedbugs in it and they refuse to even consider that it came from them! The timing is proof that it came back in the chair. There is no other way it could have come into our home during that time. Beware!!! read more

i just find false advertising very irritating. how can they say on their commercials guaranteed credit to ANYONE 18 and older if they're going to do a credit app and then deny someone or expect them to have a cosign? it's very misleading. not everyone has perfect credit, maybe they had some hard times in the past, but now things are better is that any reason to turn them away. in my opinion it's bad business practice to lie to your possible customers. if this is how they want to conduct things then they need to change their ad slogans to be honest read more
