Very good service and installation when I had all new windows done on home. I have purchased many appliances and been very pleased with purchase, value and delivery ((if applicable). However I was extremely disappointed when I looked into getting flooring done. The business they contract with was very difficult to work with. No urgency at all to get measurements/estimation done. Not willing whatsoever to honor the date set by Lowe's to get measurements done my husband and I decided to go with a different company, especially after we were told by four different people the bad experience they had had with the company Lowe's contracts with. So for anything other than flooring, I would recommend Lowes for home improvement projects. read more

Scheduled appointment for measurer to come Nov. 7 at 1-5 when homeowner was present. Lowe's through Premier Service Group decided to send man earlier without any communication. A manager, George, tells me that the person contacted me...not true. No phone call or text was sent to ask about coming earlier. I offered to show George the history on my phone, but he said that wouldn't be necessary. Why schedule for a certain 4 hours and then come at a different time? I purchased a Craftsman Weed Trimmer/Blower combo on August 18th, I charged the battery for 24 hours and the trimmer worked great, i then put the battery back on the charger and attempted to use trimmer today and the battery was dead. I took the battery, charger, my receipt and credit card used to purchase, back to Lowe 's. only to be asked I have purchased the "protection plan", which I had not. I told the clerk " I bought this last week, surely I should Not need a "perfection plan" for something I used once within a week"; oh but I do! Then I was told I needed to contact Craftsman for RA number, so I could return the product. I told the I bought it here and it just needs a new battery, you should read the rewiews on line 80% of the problems it the battery. Nothing can be done at the store I was told! This is why retail is going away, next time I will order on line, if i can't return things at the store I bought it at, without waiting forever on line with Craftsman! Some of the most dishonest people work there including the manager, there were pants that were 50% off clearly marked with a sign. I am appalled by the LACK of customer service in appliance delivery. They originally set a date for 2 weeks after we had bought a new oven, a little annoying considering we just spent over $600 there, but we dont have a truck, so we will be patient. They messaged us at 9 PM the night before to let us know itll be delayed by another week. Now we're really annoyed but luckily we were able to schedule a later drop off time so we can get our shit done for the day and be home for it. Any way, the day of the delivery comes (it was supposed to be delivered between 4 and 8 PM) and you call us at 630 AM to let us know you're on your way? What a joke. I wanted to give them another chance. I tried to purchase another GE Dishwasher today. The rep was extremely rude. When I asked her what dishwashers she had in stock, she snapped at me and said I have over 500. You must pick one, and then I'll see if I have it. So I told her the one that I wanted. As I was purchasing the dishwasher, she told me I had to buy extra hoses. I told her it was the same dishwasher, and I did not need hoses; she said, "you will void your warranty". Don't buy gas powered merchandise from Lowe's as they will not take back defective items. We ordered a Toro push weed trimmer and the pully that powers the spinning head fell off as it was missing 2 set screws and the center bolt that would hold it in place. Took it back and was informed that they could not give me a refund because they don't accept items that use gas or have been removed from the original box and used. My question was and still is how do you know if it works if you don't take it out of the box and use it??!! Young male clerk said to me the " return policy is posted on the wall". I ask if he reads a return police before purchase. I also ask if they advise of the return policy at time of sale, which he could not answer. He was also rude, very ignorant not willing to try to remedy the issue at hand. Worst customer service ever. Waited 3 weeks for a washer and dryer delivery and install only To have the dryer not installed properly. The vent hosed was never cut to size and squished behind dryer. When o called to have someone come see the issue I was told I'd have to wait three more days for someone to come out. I called maintenance for my building and they fixed it for me. I was searching for an item I didn't have a name for, only a description. Nava, Lowe's customer service rep, was able to decipher what I was looking for and spent 1/2 hour with me making sure that I had the right product by helping me look at the product online. Nava was fantastic with me. He was patient and helped me get the garden kneeling bench I was looking for. We used Lowe's design and contracting services to remodel our kitchen. The experience was horrible. The design consultant, Deborah, was impressive at first, but soon proved to be inconsistent, unreliable, misleading, and uncaring. Deborah screwed up the cabinet order, screwed up the sink order, miss-counted the inventory when it finally arrived and failed to notice an entire cabinet was missing, which further delayed the project by weeks. Deborah then handed us off to Kory, who's pleasant telephone manner was obliterated by his incompetence & blame shifting. Kory lost floor tile we had already purchased. (Lost tile was never found, and although Kory promised to refund our money, he never did.) Kory was rarely reachable on the phone, and seldom returned calls as requested. Worst of all was the contractor Lowe's hired to install the cabinets and backsplash. Treg (from Burley) habitually lied about when he would be on the job, then sent incompetent craftsmen who installed the cabinets in the wrong place, installed the island out-of-square with the room and radically off level. The work took three months longer than promised. It probably still wouldn't be done except that I emphatically promised Kory that I would sue Lowes if the work was not completed by Christmas. The only redeeming part of the job was the countertop people. They were prompt, accurate in their work, and did a beautiful job. However, they were so sick of the circus that is Lowe's and the damage that Lowes was doing to their reputation as a contractor, that they had canceled their installation contract with Lowe's. The Lowe's design and contract team is dysfunctional, incompetent, and uncaring. They get one star from me only because Yelp doesn't allow for negative ratings. read more

Horrible customer service. They will reschedule your delivery without letting you know. I called them the day before and an associate said they had them both ready for delivery the next morning. Then, the delivery truck only shows up with half my order. I had to call ten times before I got ahold of an associate. Finally, they proceeded to put me on hold for more than 30 mins. They couldn't locate their own product in back room. Highly recommend shopping somewhere else local for appliances. We purchased 10 sections of 8' picket fence along with 4 x 4 posts and hardware for delivery to our home in Hailey. We waited 5 weeks for delivery but when delivered, 8 out of 10 sections were damaged and unusable. We tried for several days to reach customer service to no avail. We finally got in contact with the national office. Our options were to wait another 4 to 5 weeks for replacements. This would be 10 weeks after they took our payment in full. They offered a partial refund, which we agreed to. 4 months later we have never received replacements or a refund. We will never go back to any Lowe's anywhere. read more

You don't always get good customer service these days, but even though I waited for about 30 minutes (there were people ahead of me), the fact that she checked in on me, letting me know my order was next up, and then apologized profusely for the wait and complimented my color choices....I didn't feel the least bit put out by the wait. Bought high end Whirlpool washer and dryer with service plans. Washer broke 4 months after 1 year warranty expired. Luckily, I purchased the 5 year service plan. The service provider showed up the day after I called Lowes but, had no parts for my model washer. Two weeks later the Pro Service company called to tell me the parts have arrived and the technician would be out the next day. Today the service company called and said the technician was ill and wouldn't be out for another week. That means 3 weeks minimum without a washing machine. I called Lowes service number to escalate and waited on hold for 57 minutes before speaking to anyone. read more

My elderly mother had an awful day at lowes yesterday. Bought a water heater a month ago, realized it wouldn't fit properly, had to borrow a truck, drove an hour and a half to exchange it (for a more expensive one). She got the run around on the policy, waited an hour for someone to unload it, was told to go find the one she needed. Multiple employees said not my department, I'm going to lunch, or I'll be right back. So she finds the correct one, gets an employee to put it on a hand truck and he walks away. She asks him to help her get it to the front of the store and he says I don't have time, it's not that heavy. Really lowes? Not acceptable! It gets worse...she gets the thing to the front, and the same girl now asks for her RA number. Ohhh you have to call the manufacturer of the damn thing now? So she does, on hold...for 2 hours, was rudely informed by yet another employee not to sit on lawn furniture, she's tired...from doing THEIR job! So she calls it quits, in tears, and who walks in but the manager! She explains situation and his response is huh...they usually answer right away? Well not today...apparently covid has the phone lines tied up. He says the problem is HE won't get reimbursed for the heater without that number! Okay boss? Coming out of your pocket is it? Hey here's an idea...put the brand new water heater in its perfect unopened box back on the shelf! Sell it to someone else! Nope him and his girlfriend are headed to lunch too....so she gets someone to load the original heater back in the truck...incorrectly on its side...but he can't help stand it up, against store policy ya know? So she gets the thing up, strapped in , drives home. Calls manufacturer again...nice gentleman answers after 30 minutes and says....oh you only need ra number if the product failed mechanically! We just moved here and ordered our appliances and other items from this location. We placed an online order for pickup and was sent an email saying our order was ready to be picked up. We went into the store to retrieve our purchases, and they literally had to go shopping to fulfill our order. This took over 30 minutes. This is unacceptable! I ordered a washer and dryer and it took two weeks to receive this delivery. I had also ordered a microwave online based on the model I saw in the store. For 3 weeks, the status was processing. I cancelled the order and placed an order with BestBuy and received my order within 2 days with no shipping fees. Now here's the best part, I ordered a dishwasher the same time as the washer and dryer on a separate order. I got an email stating it was out for delivery yesterday, but it didn't show up. After calling and waiting on hold for 30 minutes, the dingbat said she didn't know why it wasn't delivered and could give me no updates. Today, I receive another email stating that my order had been delivered. Called the store again, another 30 min hold, and she asked "you haven't received it" - no why would I be calling if I had. Now the delivery manager is supposed to call me tomorrow. I will never patronize another Lowe's store again. They have no customer service. I purchased a high end washer and dryer and had them delivered. The delivery people were pleasant, however, they ripped my linoleum in several places including tearing a large piece of it out under the washer. I know these were not there previously. One was in front of the door to the laundry room which definitely was not there before and I had cleaned the pump on my old washer which required removing the lower front panel, exposing the floor under the washer. There was no damage to the floor at that time. It was definitely caused by the delivery men. I contacted the store and provided pictures of the damage. I have never received a response and was told that repairing damages was not something they do. I will not be purchasing at Lowes again. They do not take accountability for their actions. read more

So we left to look at other stores. 11\27 we went back in to look at others they had. The sales rep. Was pushing the same one that was told to us they can't get tell March. And stated they can have one delivered on the 8th of Dec. Ok so we told them what was told to us 2 days earlier. She said it can be there on 12\8 . so we said ok do it. Next lie stated at that point. If I applied for a lowes card we will get 20% off. ( that is over $200 off) so I did applied later I found out there 20% was up to $100 put only if no other discounts applied. And the receipt shows delivery will be the12\11 So I called then on 12\11. No it won't be delivered tell 12\18 so ok I called them 12\18 . not won't be delivered tell 12\23 so I called them. No won't be delivered tell around the 31st ( getting closer to march) so I just cancelled the order. 5 read more

Had the best experience in the paint department . Frances helped me above and beyond getting the exact shade I was looking for and pick a paint . Have already painted and it is PERFECT. In addition a young gentleman in the cabinet department tried to find the color of a discontinued cabinet that I wanted for another project. When it wasn't available he actually carried a shelf from the cabinet department to Frances who went to great detail to make a matching sample for me. Amazing!!! Even ask Frances when she worked again. Have only came close to this kind of service before in a paint specialty store. Amanda also helped us pick out brushes and pans and was so cheerful doing so. My husband said he had great service in the department s he went too. Lowes has really stepped up its game!!!! read more

This store in Twin Falls is horrible. Alex the general manager won't return calls or deal with problems. Instead he has somebody else in the store try to deal with it. Very spineless if you ask me. They have lost over $2000 from me this year and I will not go back. All their employees are rude as well. I have waited for a long time for an order. I have cancelled 4 in the last year because of how long they took. Alex the general manager lives in fantasy land because he thinks his store is so great. If you call and ask to speak to him they just keep you on hold all day. Then when you call back and ask why he hasn't picked up you get the same excuse. He's in a meeting. I heard his employees say when I was there that not to have his calls sent to him. I also talked to Ron another manager. Same bad service. What do you know. I have been in there to ask emotes where something is and they are so busy texting on their phones they won't help you. Just tell you to go to a certain aisle. Never going back to this Lowes or any Lowes anymore. Corporate when I called said they were escalating it. I called back to make another coming about the lousy service yet again and they never escalated it. Beware of this store. Home Depot is less than a mile away and I will be shopping there from now on.
