I went into town to the store. The only one in stock was the display. Of course I was disappointed, I asked what my options were. There is 1 coming in tomorrow on the truck. I said I'd gladly pay for it and come in tomorrow. No, you can't do that, I was told. If you pay for it now, you don't get tomorrows item, you might get the next one after that, I was told. Then, I was informed I could go to Pocatello and pick 1 up. I said I'm not driving to Pocatello, so I was told I could drive to Idaho falls then. You can imagine what my thoughts were. I said, I'd be in Boise in 2 days. Nampa had 1 but not Boise. I said great, I'll pay for it now and pick it up. NO, we can't do that. Just call in TBE morning and confirm the 1 coming arrived at this store you can get it. Fine.... I called the next morning, yes it arrived, I said great, I'll come get it. NO, it is someone else's. Michael is the staff member I spoke with, I started to speak and of course he hung up on me....
So, I called Nampa, asked them if the item was in stock, she said yes we have 1. I said great, I'll take it. I'll pay now over the phone and pick it up in the morning. She said NO, we don't offer that service , but we can hold it for the rest of the day. I said I don't want you to hold it, I want to pay for it, I was hung up on yet again ! You may wonder why I didn't just order 1. I tried that, the twin store informed me. Yes, I could order it, it would be 3 - 6 weeks, then it changed to 6 -8 weeks but , I was told I'd have to pay shipping. I said, ," I have to pay shipping to this store?" Yes, I was told
Forget it Harbor Freight ! I went to home depot, bought a heavier built box with a wood top, 25% larger, heavier load rating,with a power strip including USB power ports for 100$ more.
