We frequent new parks and I hate when I can't find any updated photos for them so that's how I started my instagram @thatabcsquad to share. And now I'd like to contribute to Yelp as well. We've been here a handful of times and I couldn't say it's a park I would normally frequent but we've had a lot of mommy group meet ups here. It's a cute park with a rocket ship themed playground but there's only one slide and a lot of the areas are not blocked so I always worry for my little ones to fall through the cracks. - rocketship themed big playground - firetruck themed smaller playground - restrooms but not the cleanest. - small splash pad - parking lot - pretty much gated except to parking lot - big grassy area - shaded picnic tables I do often see homeless people hanging out so that's a downer but they keep to themselves.

Playground and Splash Pad Small splash pad, but a big hit with kids. Playground is right in the front, making it easy to watch them. Picnic Areas About 6 picnic tables, some with shade depending on the time of day. Perfectly located next to the playground and splash pad for easy supervision. Seating Benches available, but most are in direct sun with limited shade. Layout Everything is very close together parking, splash pad, restrooms, playground, picnic tables, and grassy area, super convenient! Open Space Nice large grassy area for picnics or playing ball. Overall Vibe Family friendly and lively. Gets a bit busy, and shaded seating can be limited. Cons Limited shade and a few seating areas can be occupied for long periods. Final Thoughts Great little neighborhood park, especially for younger kids. Would definitely come back...just bring extra clothes for splash pad and maybe an umbrella for shade.

Didn't have to worry about kids going too far or losing sight of them. There are a few picnic tables and bbqs that are spaced out pretty far and are first come first serve. The playground near the front of the park is for little kids but there is a basketball court and tons of grass for sport related activities. The bathrooms are located in the front as well. Another fun feature is their little hiking trail on higher ground that loops around the park. I see lots of dogs walking this trail and it's fun for kids too who want to explore a bit more.

We…read morestopped by Eagle Rock and there was no dine-in, so we drove around to look for somewhere to eat and we came across this park. It looks like it's in a nice quiet neighborhood. When we visited there wasn't a lot of people, but they have a tennis court, a basketball court and a small little playground for kids. They had a few tables around the park. There's not a lot of traffic around the park so it seems safe for your kids if you plan to bring them to play. If you're from around the area and need to take a breather and time to walk, this is a good place to walk around. I saw a few joggers, but it was mostly quiet and hardly anyone around. Since COVID19 a lot of restaurants are not allowing you to dine-in, so this is a good little place to picnic with your friends or family. We ended up staying in the car and parked right by the park. We were in a rush since we came around the holidays, so we could not stay to enjoy it. If I'm ever in the area and need a place to go for a picnic and Eagle Rock isn't allowing dine-in, then I would definitely come back. It's not crowded, it's clean, it looks safe and there's a few benches to hangout. I did not get a chance to check the restrooms, but it did not look bad from the outside view. The grass and trees around the park look well taken care of by the city.

The park offers a play structure for kids to climb and play, a grassy area for people to picnic and throw a ball around, and walk paths to meander. The facilities are clean, and the park is well maintained. There is also a basketball court and a softball field. It was nice to see children off screens, playing and happy, and families barbequing and picnicking. There are some large trees that offer shade, and a couple picnic benches. People should take more time to go to parks, relax in nature, and enjoy the peace and serenity of being outdoors. Spend some time at Two Strike Park.

My only concern is there are many kids riding bikes and many small kids running around. It is not very safe for little kids, hopefully all adults can supervise their younger children. I do recommend everyone to come here, if you want a picnic and spend some time to walk with your dogs.

Cons: -Off Leash dogs -A lot of questionable litter near most of the trees and within the grasses of the park. The grasses didn't look to be mowed for a while and don't know what's hiding so I didn't bother to go near. -Trash cans were all overflowed and stinky. I spotted multiple groups of older Armenian or Middle Eastern folks playing some type of boardgames. It seems like this is a regular thing at this park as I got the idea they were very comfortable at this park- smoking, drinking, eating, having their shoes off. It didn't bother me and it's an admirable gathering. Though the smoke did congregate and thicken the air and I prefer not to second-hand smoke. I would come back to enjoy the open field!
