The staff at their new sister location in Moline, Illinois are just as capable, well-trained, and efficient in diagnosing automobile issues as their counterparts in their other location in Davenport! I had unknown issues with my Lexus' air-conditioning system and wisely brought my vehicle to the Moline location. In a matter of a few hours, they were able to trace the problem to a faulty switch, probably saving me 100s if not 1000s of dollars in unnecessary charges! I specifically expressed concerns about its safety and relied on their inspections, repairs, and reassurances that the vehicle was safe to drive. Ace performed a multipoint inspection on July 24 and did not document a coolant leak. My car was subsequently back at Ace for additional repairs and diagnostics, and I returned it again on August 20 because I was concerned about noises and a brake warning. It was returned to me around August 28. No coolant leak was documented to me during these visits. Only a few weeks later, on September 27, my MINI suddenly overheated and began stalling. I got safely off the road and had it towed to Ace. Their own diagnostic report states the vehicle arrived "BONE DRY ON COOLANT" and that their pressure test found the oil filter housing/oil cooler leaking coolant. They then told me the head gasket had failed and the vehicle needed an engine. When I asked the owner what Ace could do to help, I was told they were not responsible, accused of continuing to drive the vehicle while it was overheating, and told to remove it from their property. I dispute that account and have timestamped documentation from the incident. After posting my one-star review, Niki texted me personally. She again blamed me for the engine damage, stated that I "had no coolant leaks before this," told me my review affected her monthly bonus, and told me I was "fired as a customer." I understand that cars can develop new problems. What I cannot get past is that my vehicle spent a significant amount of time at this shop, I spent thousands trying to make it dependable, and within weeks of getting it back I was left with a vehicle that Ace itself documented as bone dry on coolant with an identified coolant leak and catastrophic engine damage. I have preserved the vehicle, repair records, diagnostic reports, photos, videos, and timestamped communications, and the matter is being reviewed through my insurance claim. I genuinely wanted Ace to help me make my car safe and reliable. Instead, I am left without a functioning vehicle and deeply disappointed by how I was treated when I asked for help. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Ace Auto Doctor.

I had a very disappointing experience with Crash Champions in Davenport…read more After bringing my truck in following an accident, I informed them about warning messages related to the 4x4 system and traction control. However, they were not aware of these issues until I mentioned them myself, and even then, they seemed to doubt my concerns. I also reported that my center console had been flickering since the crash, but that concern did not appear to be taken seriously. When I picked up my vehicle the first time, they had installed the wrong headlight on the repaired side. This required an additional week to correct. When I finally got the truck back again, I immediately noticed more serious issues--while driving, the braking felt unsafe, requiring me to press the brakes much harder than normal to slow down. Additionally, the hood is uneven on both sides, which clearly reflects poor repair quality. To make matters worse, I was told that the mismatched lug nuts (from the replaced tire) would be corrected, but that has not been resolved. Overall, the workmanship and attention to detail were far below expectations. I am not satisfied with the repairs or the service I received, and I am currently considering legal action due to the condition my vehicle was returned in. All they can say is send us an email to a dead end email. You dont care about customer feedback. Just love to screw people over. I just picked up my truck for the second time and there are still discrepancies in the body work as of 4/21/2026. They did the bare minimum to "fix" my uneven hood gaps but the repair side headlight is pushed more into the body. Dan the service advisor kept lying to me and said he did a final inspection when my wife picked up the truck, he did not. Kept saying the uneven gaps on my hood was standard along with other bum scoop. These people may get away with this with regular people but not with me. Count your days. I am seeking legal action.

Andy and his employee are open to discuss the progress of repair and show me in real time how the work is done. (3) Superior quality of work. Picture is worth a thousand words. After knowing the details of my accident especially regarding the other party (at fault) who did not carry insurance, Andy expressed sympathy and worked out an affordable plan.
