I had a very disappointing experience with Crash Champions in Davenport…read more After bringing my truck in following an accident, I informed them about warning messages related to the 4x4 system and traction control. However, they were not aware of these issues until I mentioned them myself, and even then, they seemed to doubt my concerns. I also reported that my center console had been flickering since the crash, but that concern did not appear to be taken seriously. When I picked up my vehicle the first time, they had installed the wrong headlight on the repaired side. This required an additional week to correct. When I finally got the truck back again, I immediately noticed more serious issues--while driving, the braking felt unsafe, requiring me to press the brakes much harder than normal to slow down. Additionally, the hood is uneven on both sides, which clearly reflects poor repair quality. To make matters worse, I was told that the mismatched lug nuts (from the replaced tire) would be corrected, but that has not been resolved. Overall, the workmanship and attention to detail were far below expectations. I am not satisfied with the repairs or the service I received, and I am currently considering legal action due to the condition my vehicle was returned in. All they can say is send us an email to a dead end email. You dont care about customer feedback. Just love to screw people over. I just picked up my truck for the second time and there are still discrepancies in the body work as of 4/21/2026. They did the bare minimum to "fix" my uneven hood gaps but the repair side headlight is pushed more into the body. Dan the service advisor kept lying to me and said he did a final inspection when my wife picked up the truck, he did not. Kept saying the uneven gaps on my hood was standard along with other bum scoop. These people may get away with this with regular people but not with me. Count your days. I am seeking legal action.

My wife and I have been driving to North Brady Imports Plus in Davenport, Iowa for nearly 30 years!…read moreWe have always been treated with great respect and concern for our automobile issues. All of the staff encountered have been extremely polite, professional, knowledgeable, and efficient. The people at North Brady Imports Plus have always been able to solve our automotive mysteries and repair minor and major issues with a higher degree of expertise and at a significantly lower cost than most dealerships' service departments! The staff at their new sister location in Moline, Illinois are just as capable, well-trained, and efficient in diagnosing automobile issues as their counterparts in their other location in Davenport! I had unknown issues with my Lexus' air-conditioning system and wisely brought my vehicle to the Moline location. In a matter of a few hours, they were able to trace the problem to a faulty switch, probably saving me 100s if not 1000s of dollars in unnecessary charges! (Other less-qualified mechanics elsewhere would likely have resorted to swapping out components until the system started functioning again)! Thank you for a pleasant automobile repair experience!

Had them do a clutch on my sons car. Had to take it back as it failed and they did warranty it. I…read moredropped the car off to them in running condition and we had no other issues with the vehicle. They called and stated vehicle was done and ready for pickup. My son picked the vehicle up and called me stating it was running weird. I told him to bring it home and we would look at it. It did not make it home and it died out on him with all lights on dash coming on. I called NBI and they said bring it back and they would look at it, so I had it towed in. They had it for a week or so and claimed there were no issues and it could be picked up. My son again picked up the vehicle which ran right until about home and all lights came on and it ran horribly. I called again and had it towed in again. After a week or so they called me up and stated the engine was blown. After talking with the management, they claimed they were not responsible at all for anything. I explained I dropped it off to them with 0 issues other than a clutch which they installed and they told me on return visits that there was nothing wrong with this car and could be driven. STAY AWAY as they do not stand by their work or take responsibility. I even offered to split the cost of a replacement with them as I understand this engine had 100k on it which they still declined.

Highly recommended!…read more Auto body shop is a unique business because, unless, god forbid, the customer is accident-prone, there are seldom repeat customers. As such, many auto body shops lack the incentive of keeping long-term customer relationship and satisfaction but instead focus on short-term profit-taking by providing overpriced services coupled with marking up the parts when possible. That is where Ricky's Auto Body makes a difference and why I think a positive review is imperative to spread the good words about this business. (1) Honesty. The first thing the owner Andy said was "let me show you where you can order the taillights on your own online for affordable prices and I will not mark up the parts". Andy even patiently helped me to compare price online. (2) Professionalism and Transparency. Andy and his employee are open to discuss the progress of repair and show me in real time how the work is done. (3) Superior quality of work. Picture is worth a thousand words. Please see attached "before" and "after". (4) Humanity and Compassion. After knowing the details of my accident especially regarding the other party (at fault) who did not carry insurance, Andy expressed sympathy and worked out an affordable plan. In light of the quality of the work, I would have been paying much more at some other body shops. (5) True customer care. Andy noticed there was a sound when driving the car. For my safety of driving, he got on the ground and probed under the car to locate the issue and referred me to another shop who specializes in that type of issues. By the way, I don't know why Yelp puts me in California. I work and live in Rock Island, Illinois. And the repair work was done locally.
