I'm a retired police sergeant and spent 10 years in the trades prior to my law enforcement career. While in the trades I once supervised a crew of 80 commercial framers and drywall hangers. After being provided with a detailed estimate, Chris and his crew were hired. Chris actually encouraged me to get multiple estimates (which I did not). Chris stayed in contact with me until the day of the job. Chris, his crew, a sub-contracted crane service and the utility company all arrived at the scheduled time, set up and went to work. They took all precautions for site safety and my landscaping. Once working, the communication and coordination between the crew members was spot on. I understand the challenges of keeping a crew moving and I was impressed. It only took them approximately three hours to take down, cut up and clean up a 75' Hackberry tree. They are a well oiled machine and left the yard in great condition. LP Tree Service has been in business for 60+ years. Chris took the business over from his father and I believe two of his children and at least one grandchild works for the business. I am extremely pleased with the service provided and highly recommend them.

TWM was in the neighborhood and said they could do the work. They charged $4400 for 30 minutes of work and left all the branches in the backyard. You do the math. I'm sure they'll respond and say oh, it was emergency work, it was 4th of July weekend, etc. Indeed it was! But there's emergency pricing and there's taking advantage of a situation. Just because you CAN charge an outrageous amount because of the situation doesn't mean you should. Again, the facts are as stated; people can draw their own conclusions. But if you want to be highly overcharged, these are your people.

.So so so happy with Revved Up Tree Service. Highly recommend!…read moreWe have a tree that is right in between and has been shading our house, cottage, fence, and backyard for over 20 years. Last month we noticed something going on with it. They came out and let us know that the tree was suffering from a red maple fungus, it was very severe and not going to get better. They came back, took the tree down for us, and thank goodness they did. The tree was rotting all the way through and all the way to the roots. They took the entire tree down without it touching any of the close obstacles, hauled everything away, cleaned the entire area better than it was prior, and now you can't even tell there was a tree there. So professional and amazing to work with!

I was unaware of this issue and when I checked it out myself I was SO thankful that he brought it to my attention! I went ahead with hiring Charlie for my removal of 5 unwanted pines and the large rotting oak. He got me in the schedule about a week after I got my estimate and the job they did is BEAUTIFUL! I am so happy I hired Charlie and his crew. They do excellent work and I've already referred Kobs & Roberts to several family members & friends. Thanks again, Charlie! You were a true professional!
