We experienced some pretty destructive wind damage from the storm on April 2nd. We had a stand of 3 very large trees near our rear yard fence. One went down taking out a portion of our fence, crashed into our garage smashing part of the gutter that it hit. A huge problem was actually the fence because the dogs could not go out alone. My husband could not lift the tree to put the boards back up for the fence. He called JBS Tree Service Friday a.m and was able to get removal arranged for Monday a.m. They arrived on time, actually earlier than we expected. They set everything up, used plywood on the grass so as not the leave ruts in the lawn. They were very respectful of our property. This was a huge piece of equipment. We ended up having all of the trees removed because it seemed like the whole root ball would be compromised. They also ground the stumps. The crew was probably 5 workman and it was absolutely orchestrated. they completed cleaned up our yard and the neighbors yard behind us. they even cleaned the driveway that was not really their mess. Joaquin is the nicest guy and truly wonderful to do business with. He is licensed and an arborist also. They made a bad situation into a good experience. I highly recommend them. read more

Several trees were overhanging our house and they removed them safely and efficiently. Within just 2 hours they removed three trees and a bunch of buckthorns. I agree with all the 5 star ratings....I had a huge Elm and Ash tree that stood precariously close to my neighbors house to remove. Easily could have killed someone if just the right wind gust blew in. I called several tree services and was given a very fair quote by Joaquin but decided on JBS because he seemed to actually care about the situation. I can hardly express how impressed and very pleased I am with the JBS Tree Care service and team. The crew arrived promptly at 7am, got right to work, and finished at 9:10am.. In two hours flat they took down, from our front yard, 3 mature but diseased and dying trees (2 spruce and a maple), and half of another that was arching over the roof of our house, our fence, and the neighbors driveway and cars. Another 10-15 minutes for clean up and done. I have a small house on a small lot, and this is all happening on my front yard, with the 2 evergreens right at the base of the driveway, which means working literally in the street. They managed it expertly, keeping the street clear for cars and school buses. The spruce trees were drying/dried up with needles flying everywhere. Clean up would be challenging but they had all the right equipment and when done, there was not a single needle in sight. I kid you not. I watched from my kitchen and living room windows and saw how they worked like a well oiled machine. You know how loud chain saws and those tree branch chipping/mulching machines are, and they have to wear hard hats and ear plugs and can't hear each other, but each guy knew exactly what to do, when, where, etc, so that in 20 minutes tree #1 was down and thru the chipper and gone! Their experience shows. (Also, they cleaned up as they worked.) That arching half tree? Yes, half the tree. Let me tell you, Javier is a rock star with that chain saw. I had no idea how he would manage it without damaging something. The roof and fence are directly underneath, and I'm guessing there's less then 3-4 feet of clearance from the roof? After 20 or so minutes, the majority of it was down without incident. Whew. (The tree is healthy and we want to keep the rest of it, as it offers shade for our south-facing living room.) I found out at the end, from Joaquin, that one of their regular crew took ill last night and couldn't work today, so all this was done with just three guys. And wow, did they work hard! And I can't rave enough about the clean up afterwards. Just outstanding, and the price was right. Very affordable. Yay! Thanks, JBS Tree Care. I'm recommending you to everyone! read more

JBS Professional Tree Service Care was highly recommended to my husband and me, by a friend and our son. When I called Joaquin, he responded to my phone call promptly and came to our home the next day to look at the trees we needed trimmed, on a Saturday. The following Tuesday, the gentlemen who trimmed our trees were at our home early in the morning.
