We experienced some pretty destructive wind damage from the storm on April 2nd. We had a stand of 3 very large trees near our rear yard fence. One went down taking out a portion of our fence, crashed into our garage smashing part of the gutter that it hit. A huge problem was actually the fence because the dogs could not go out alone. My husband could not lift the tree to put the boards back up for the fence. He called JBS Tree Service Friday a.m and was able to get removal arranged for Monday a.m. They arrived on time, actually earlier than we expected. They set everything up, used plywood on the grass so as not the leave ruts in the lawn. They were very respectful of our property. This was a huge piece of equipment. We ended up having all of the trees removed because it seemed like the whole root ball would be compromised. They also ground the stumps. The crew was probably 5 workman and it was absolutely orchestrated. they completed cleaned up our yard and the neighbors yard behind us. they even cleaned the driveway that was not really their mess. Joaquin is the nicest guy and truly wonderful to do business with. He is licensed and an arborist also. They made a bad situation into a good experience. I highly recommend them. read more

We had to have a very large silver maple removed as it was dying. We had many companies come out and give us estimates for removal. JBS was the lowest in checking their reviews we decided to go with them. They arrived can at 7 AM they were finished by 4 PM. They did a fantastic job cleaning up. I agree with all the 5 star ratings....I had a huge Elm and Ash tree that stood precariously close to my neighbors house to remove. Easily could have killed someone if just the right wind gust blew in. When I called Joaquin, he responded to my phone call promptly and came to our home the next day to look at the trees we needed trimmed, on a Saturday. I can only give five stars?! Joaquin and his son Scott are really world class. They showed up on time for my estimate and really took the time to go through my yard and assess and counsel what I wanted done...I didn't know you should only trim oaks when they're dormant! Another company was more than willing to trim them and I likely would have found them diseased shortly after. I had also wanted to surprise my husband with getting this work done while he was out of town, and they even made special accommodations to get me in their schedule in barely a week! We were totally pleased with JBS. Joaquin was prompt in providing a quote for the work, the quote was reasonable and better than others we had received, and he and his crew came to do the work within just a few days. The work involved trimming a lot of dead wood out of two very large willow trees in our back yard. The workers used plenty of plywood to protect the lawn from the tracked machine, and the machine operator was careful to make turns only over where there was plywood. The trimmers did a great job in cutting all of the dead limbs and branches. Cleanup was thorough.
