We experienced some pretty destructive wind damage from the storm on April 2nd. We had a stand of 3 very large trees near our rear yard fence. One went down taking out a portion of our fence, crashed into our garage smashing part of the gutter that it hit. A huge problem was actually the fence because the dogs could not go out alone. My husband could not lift the tree to put the boards back up for the fence. He called JBS Tree Service Friday a.m and was able to get removal arranged for Monday a.m. They arrived on time, actually earlier than we expected. They set everything up, used plywood on the grass so as not the leave ruts in the lawn. They were very respectful of our property. This was a huge piece of equipment. We ended up having all of the trees removed because it seemed like the whole root ball would be compromised. They also ground the stumps. The crew was probably 5 workman and it was absolutely orchestrated. they completed cleaned up our yard and the neighbors yard behind us. they even cleaned the driveway that was not really their mess. Contacted JBS due to storm damage on my 40 yr old maple. I had lost a huge branch and noticed another cracked limb. Joaquin came out the next day before 8 am to assess!! This problem was resolved ASAP at a very reasonable price. Crew was professional, polite, and did a great job. I agree with all the 5 star ratings....I had a huge Elm and Ash tree that stood precariously close to my neighbors house to remove. Easily could have killed someone if just the right wind gust blew in. I called several tree services and was given a very fair quote by Joaquin but decided on JBS because he seemed to actually care about the situation. He also recommended to have tree removed after ground froze to protect my sprinkler system. Just little things which made all the difference. We had the crew remove 2 pine trees that were dead. They gave us the best price out of several quotes with other places. The crew arrived on time and took 2 hours to remove these 2 trees. JBS Professional Tree Service Care was highly recommended to my husband and me, by a friend and our son. When I called Joaquin, he responded to my phone call promptly and came to our home the next day to look at the trees we needed trimmed, on a Saturday. The following Tuesday, the gentlemen who trimmed our trees were at our home early in the morning. I can only give five stars?! Joaquin and his son Scott are really world class. They showed up on time for my estimate and really took the time to go through my yard and assess and counsel what I wanted done...I didn't know you should only trim oaks when they're dormant! Another company was more than willing to trim them and I likely would have found them diseased shortly after. I had also wanted to surprise my husband with getting this work done while he was out of town, and they even made special accommodations to get me in their schedule in barely a week! Their price was great ($1200 to take down 4 trees and a bush plus crown clean 4 other trees). I'm having them back in the fall to do those oaks! You cannot go wrong with these guys! read more

We were totally pleased with JBS. Joaquin was prompt in providing a quote for the work, the quote was reasonable and better than others we had received, and he and his crew came to do the work within just a few days. The work involved trimming a lot of dead wood out of two very large willow trees in our back yard. The workers used plenty of plywood to protect the lawn from the tracked machine, and the machine operator was careful to make turns only over where there was plywood. The trimmers did a great job in cutting all of the dead limbs and branches. Cleanup was thorough.
