I had a birch tree that was overgrown and had branches overhanging our roof and a large honey locust with a ton of dead branches in the backyard. I requested quotes from 3 companies and scheduled appointments. Adolfo was the first to give me an estimate, he arrived at the scheduled time and inspected the birch. He recommended that it would be best to take the tree down and grind the stump because it was infested with carpenter ants and was leaning towards the neighbors yard. He gave a very reasonable estimate to take down the birch grind the stump along with another stump and clean up the honey locust and a crabapple tree. The second company never showed up for the estimate. The third company arrived on time but may have spend less than 5 minutes getting me a quote never mentioned anything about the carpenter ants I accepted Aldofo's estimate and was placed on the schedule. About a week later I received a phone call the day before that they would be onsite at 7am the next day. Adolfo and his crew arrived early and were already working at 7am. They quickly took down the birch tree and started on the honey locust. His crew also removed any dead branches on any additional trees in our yard for no additional cost. Aldofo came to our house to view a potential taking down of a HUGE willow tree in our backyard. I could believe the price. My husband and I waited for the weather to cooperate and had him and his crew come and tackle the LARGE tree. We chose to eventually move the wood ourselves. After a long day the crew not only moved all the wood but also wood chipped up all the smaller branches and took the mulch away for us. Then before the left they raked and used a leaf blow to clean up any excess of dust or very small willow parts that were to small to fit in the mulched. Review from a tech-challenged family member: I've had this home and property for almost 30 years. Utilizing other tree services I can honestly tell you that Adolfo is absolutely the best. There's one man that cuts the limbs in many cases that are hundreds of pounds and the two below pull these huge members away from sheds & the house. When I asked them to be careful not to step on the hundreds of hosta... As it kills them when stepped on, they accommodated me with no problem whatsoever. The brush/limbs took up 2/3 of my driveway that can hold three cars wide three cars deep. And the height about 8 ft tall. I watched what they had done and when they would turn toward me they all smiled. After they had ground the stumps down and put all of the debris into a chipper they swept up the driveway cleaner than when they arrived. They showed up exactly on time, did really thorough work, and did it all for a pretty competitive price. The stump grinding was quoted to be especially expensive everywhere else, and these guys were much more reasonable, leaving nothing above the surface. It was a lot of work, and they did it well. read more

Adolfo came out to remove a newly planted (Oct 2019) dead tree and replace it along with planting a new one (2 trees total). They charged $360 to plant the two trees. Unfortunately, they didn't pack the dirt well around the new balls of the trees and after heavy winds later the same afternoon, both trees had tilted slightly and were crooked. With proper planting technique, including watering between layers of dirt, the trees would have been rock solid. In addition they wanted to leave the burlap bags completely intact after planting. They fought with my fiance saying "this isn't our first time" and then when it was all done left a tramendous amount of dirt and clay around the trees and kicked it in with the mulch trying to cover it. My fiance and I had to load up 3 full garbage cans worth of dirt, clay, and wasted mulch and haul it away ourselves. Prior to leaving this review I called and texted Adolfo 5 times and got no response. read more

If I could, I would give Adolfo Tree Services 6 stars... I had a large tree split in half and fall down, and upon further inspection, also found another large tree leaning against my fence, causing my fence to break. Not an emergency, but definitely needed to have it addressed. I had originally contacted a different company, and after literally chasing them down over 2 days, was told by the owner that they would return my call in 3 days. What? I had used that other tree service before, and told the owner that I wanted to give him my business. After waiting 5 days, with no call, I was out on my daily walk when I came across Adolfo Tree Services. I'm so glad that I did! They were in my neighborhood, busily working at 7:30 a.m., and appeared so professional in their work. I took a picture of the truck for the phone number, and called them after work. I requested a quote on yelp, and had a callback in less than one minute. From there, Adolfo came out personally within 30 minutes and gave what I considered a very fair quote to cut and haul away the fallen half tree, and the intact tree that was damaging the fence. Being that we are living in the age of COVID-19, I also appreciated that Adolfo had a mask when he came to my house. I was pleasantly surprised that Adolfo said they would be out the following morning. The next morning, his awesome crew arrived as scheduled at 7:30 a.m., and immediately went to work. They were so professional, and within three hours, had completed the work. During the entire project, they were busy raking my yard and cleaning up after themselves, leaving everything cleaner than it was prior to their arrival.
