We needed a complete over-haul incorporating the kitchen with the dining room. They reconfigured walls, moved the sink, installed a new window and new door. They replaced the cabinets and installed a beautiful quartz countertop and backsplash. We ended up having them resurface and paint the living room walls since the kitchen walls looked so good (we went from textured to flat). There were carpenters, plumbers, electricians, an amazing sheetrock team and other specialists that helped with everything. All of the professionals that did work, did everything according to code and I'm happy with the end result and quality of work inside and out. Communication throughout the entire process was always constant (we had a text thread going that we could reply to anytime). They planned out the order of work and explained everything I wanted to know more about. They helped refine our design and were open to suggestions to help me make better decisions and get the results I wanted. I recently hired Austin Professional Painters for a pretty large project: we had remodeled our…read morekitchen and had installed new shiplap, headboard, and chair rail throughout the main areas of our downstairs. The cabinets and walls needed a total refresh of paint, and all that new woodwork had tons of caulking/filling/sanding/priming etc to do. Then we needed new crown molding added to our half bath, and there were several sheetrock patches plus some ceiling cracks which needed good prepping and feathering in. Also, our front and back doors needed to be repainted. So - a lot of work! And I am picky about quality. I chose Austin Professional Painting because they seemed well organized, well qualified, and ready to go at a scale of enough workers that we could get back to living in the downstairs of our house in a reasonable amount of time. Their comfort with good quality paint was also a key factor in my choice. So: the guys who came out to do the work, Carlos and Ivan - plus another couple of guys on certain days, were very nice, polite, and extremely hard working. They did a very good job and I am satisfied with the work. I would hire Austin Professional Painters again (and probably will this fall when we get around to renewing the master bath), and I definitely recommend them. I asked them about their prep and they assured me that their paint was superior, but after one spray coating and a return to touch up, I knew it was not going to be good. It was not. I cant clean them because the paint flakes off. They did a nice job on a real wood cabinet and the exterior of my house, but for my laminate cabinets, I either got the B team or they dont know what they are doing, or dont care. Our concern was someone would simply spray it and call it good and charge us a lot of money. We simply couldn't be any happier with the work that Fernando did. I'll go through the steps he took and include my thoughts. 1. During his estimate he made sure to learn how the original paint had been applied so he would know what to fix before he started prepping and painting. 2. He made sure the paint was an exact match to what was already on the island. He went to the same company and got the same paint color. It is a perfect match. 3. He was on time and for the day and a half he took to finish the work he focused on the job. 4. He set up a paint station in the garage where he sanded, primed and painted the doors. Inside, he created a tent over the island so no paint would escape and end up on other parts of the kitchen. None did. 5. On the second day, he checked to see how the paint had dried and ended up doing more sanding and painting to ensure a smooth, covered coating on all surfaces. This job could have been done in a day, maybe less, but Fernando wanted to do it right so he planned enough time so he could do it right. 6. We were satisfied with the quote we got from Fernando. More important was that even though he had to take a few more steps and do some rework to get it just right there was never any mention of charging more. 7. Okay, here's the most important part of my review. I researched different painters and selected Just Pros Painting while my wife was out of town. She was still gone when Fernando completed the work. I know, I was working without a net and if the job wasn't done right it might have gotten ugly. Just kidding... kind of. Upon returning, my wife gave the entire job a thumbs up. Phew! Just Pros Painting has my highest recommendation. Note: Fernando is a super nice guy. I thoroughly enjoyed hanging around while he worked.

Mike came out, gave a super competitive quote, and I decided to go with them. Later, I noticed a promo on their website, and they honored it, bringing the price down even further. They were flexible with scheduling and waited until our flooring project was completed before coming in for the trim and walls. We did have a minor issue with delayed communication, but it was apparently due to them transitioning to a new platform. Despite that, we got it sorted out and started the project on time. On the day of the painting, the project manager, Bette, did a walkthrough with her team before painting to ensure we were all on the same page. Once everything was confirmed, they picked up the paint (Walls: SW 7631 City Loft, Baseboards/Window Sills: SW 7006 Extra White, Ceiling: matched existing white) and got to work.
