Extensive selection of threads, battings, rulers and quilting notions. Staff are quite willing to be helpful, or just let you browse and do your own thing, if that is what you prefer. Online shopping is also available and they are very quick in their turn around times and will reach out to you with any concerns, should they arise. I have always found them to be friendly and knowledgeable when I needed, or wished, a consultation. Prices are reasonable and on par with other stores in the city. I am an avid and experienced quilter and I would have no problem recommending this store to anyone.

What didn't impress me was when I arrived at the cutting table. The agent working at the cutting table was in the middle of a personal call with another store associate who isn't working today. The personal conversation did not end when I arrived at the cutting table but continued a full 5 minutes before I asked if there was someone who could help me. Meanwhile I did learn about some of the work politics going on between co-workers. I will omit details. This store is right by fabricland and the prices are higher than fabricland. I would have left to shop there instead but this store had a pattern that I couldn't find elsewhere. When a customer chooses your location they should not have to wait for your personal call before you choose to help them. It's disrespectful and I didn't need to hear about the politics. In my case, I have insomnia and it's suppose to be a therapeutic blanket. They use weighted discs instead of sand or plastic beads, so it's quite pricey. You can find more info on their website plus view the types of patterns they have which is neat. Staff is friendly, parking space is only on the street probably because they expect their product to be shipped but if your willing to drive there and pick it up it's free. The feel of the blanket is unique, it does keep you in place in bed and can feel quite trapped. Blanket is cozy but you can get lower weights if it's too heavy. Moving this blanket from places feels heavy. Recommended for anyone having sleep problems but do sample the product at their location because you may not like the feeling of being trapped with weights on your chest.

I made dozens of those little beaded lizards, bubble bees, etc. (which I was happy to see today that they still sell those in packages). I gave one to everyone, and still have a drawer full of them somewhere (I can't dump them, the memories are too cherished). Oh or when we'd braid strings into bracelets. Or just take a wide assortment of beats, spell out our names, and make jewelery with that. Bead & Plenty More was the place I went to get my supplies. Seriously, this place was like heaven and still is today. I feel like a kid in this store. The assortment of beads and general craft work in this store is amazing. Whatever you need (wire, pliers, potential pendants, craft books, etc), it's all there. Just walking into this store and seeing all the shapes, colours, and materials (metal or plastic beads) got the creative juices flowing. Oh how I miss those days where giving your friends a custom made bracelet or necklace was a big deal, and that was their birthday present. I think I need to return to those days, even if it looks cheap.
