So of course, we had to go check it out. This is literally a labyrinth of every fabric and sewing accessory imaginable. With floor to ceiling shelves, you could spend an entire day in here. The staff were also lovely, and very helpful. Might I add that the prices are WICKED. My only criticism was that there was a very limited selection of quilting cotton. This is the majority of the fabric I purchase, so I was a bit sad that there was only one small section to choose from. However, if you are into a variety of sewing projects this is the place for you!!

For context, this is the second time me and my partner have been to the store. The first time we…read morewent, one of the employees acted very bothered every time we asked for help, whether it was finding items, asking for lengths of fabric, or changing our minds about the items we were still considering. We decided to ignore it, and went again about a month later. We were looking for materials to make monster hunter leather armor. We had found the perfect leather, and were told to put it aside until we were finished shopping by another employee. It was left on a side table at the back, after being explicitly told that we had access to it. We came back after half an hour of shopping, and the same employee who set it aside was selling it to another person. When confronted, both employees doubled down and told us that we were wrong, and that they were going to sell it to another customer. We repeated what they had told us originally, but they kept insisting that we had not communicated at all. The other customer also became upset and left without buying any leather due to their behaviour. One of them proceeded to tell me "Ninety Six dollars" per square meter, when they had said eight dollars to the other customer. When we went to pay, we explained to the employee our concerns, and why we ended up not buying anything. He again became very argumentative, calling us liars, and then simply refusing to engage in any conversation, however helpful or constructive it may have been. Overall, I would never recommend this store, which is unfortunate due to their wide variety of fabrics.

Extensive selection of threads, battings, rulers and quilting notions. Staff are quite willing to be helpful, or just let you browse and do your own thing, if that is what you prefer. Online shopping is also available and they are very quick in their turn around times and will reach out to you with any concerns, should they arise. I have always found them to be friendly and knowledgeable when I needed, or wished, a consultation. Prices are reasonable and on par with other stores in the city. I am an avid and experienced quilter and I would have no problem recommending this store to anyone.

In my case, I have insomnia and it's suppose to be a therapeutic blanket. They use weighted discs instead of sand or plastic beads, so it's quite pricey. You can find more info on their website plus view the types of patterns they have which is neat. Staff is friendly, parking space is only on the street probably because they expect their product to be shipped but if your willing to drive there and pick it up it's free. The feel of the blanket is unique, it does keep you in place in bed and can feel quite trapped. Blanket is cozy but you can get lower weights if it's too heavy. Moving this blanket from places feels heavy. Recommended for anyone having sleep problems but do sample the product at their location because you may not like the feeling of being trapped with weights on your chest.

What didn't impress me was when I arrived at the cutting table. The agent working at the cutting table was in the middle of a personal call with another store associate who isn't working today. The personal conversation did not end when I arrived at the cutting table but continued a full 5 minutes before I asked if there was someone who could help me. Meanwhile I did learn about some of the work politics going on between co-workers. I will omit details. This store is right by fabricland and the prices are higher than fabricland. I would have left to shop there instead but this store had a pattern that I couldn't find elsewhere. When a customer chooses your location they should not have to wait for your personal call before you choose to help them. It's disrespectful and I didn't need to hear about the politics. Shop here for the fabric, not for the customer service.

When I said what my colour was to be, I was immediately directed to the most gorgeous fabrics, more perfect than I could have hoped for, at the most reasonable prices. The lady was friendly and very knowledgeable which is most welcome. I will be back here for sure.
