Zero stars!! Silverwood petcare was unprofessional and had horrible customer service. We will never…read morereturn. They made us wait 45 minutes when dropping our dogs off. On the phone, they gave us conflicting information about what documentation was needed for vaccination records (even suggesting we could self administer some vaccines--though we did not do this). Despite the fact that we had submitted our records several days in advance of dropping our dogs off, and despite the fact that our records indicated the dogs were up to date on all vaccines, the lady working the front desk waited until we were there in person dropping our dogs off to tell us that they needed further information. She made it clear that she didn't care at all that this was delaying our travel plans, that she would be losing our future business, or that we would be posting negative reviews online. She was rude and unaccommodating. When she finally agreed to take our dogs, she threatened that if the owner had a problem with our records, we could still be asked to come pick up our dogs early, and if we weren't there (which I told her we would not be, as we were going out of town), there could be a fine. I asked her if they had any written policy showing this, and she was unable to find anything to show me.  I'm sure you are wondering what was wrong with our vaccination records. They showed the date the vaccines were administered and that the bordatella and distemper vaccines would be due one year from that date. The problem was that it didn't specify the exact date new vaccines were due. I guess she was unable to do simple math.

We have brought our dog to the DIY dog wash for years and had wonderful experiences with the…read moreoriginal owner. Loved it, recommended it to others. People bought us gift certificates because I talked about how I was so delighted with the whole thing. Since the ownership changed over, we had a terrible experience when one of the employees snapped at my daughter -- who loved to come and help wash our dog -- for something the employee herself did. I did not go back for a long time because of that experience, and when I decided to give them another try, it was another terrible experience. Asked for a dog nail trim, and the employee wanted me to sit on the floor in the lobby and hold my full-size, soaking wet, uncooperative dog still so she could clip her nails. Clipped some too short, dog was bleeding. Didn't clip some nails at all. Charged double what it was previously. I did a large portion of the work. Was the single most chaotic dog nail trim I have ever experienced in my life, and I used to work for the Humane Society. I want them to do well as a business because I think it is a good concept and a good location and I would love to be able to utilize the business. Other people have had positive experiences, or so it looks like. Our experience since the new owners took over has been one of prickly unwelcomeness. But maybe what I think is rude is actually normal among the young people who work there, and I just don't understand.
