I've been here for over a year and I loved living at Willow Ridge. It's located in a great place, everything is so near to apartment complex. Management was friendly throughout the year I lived there and the location was good, but the apartments are old, small, and gross. There's no A/C and no guest parking, and the laundry machines are constantly broken and will take your money with no refund. I wouldn't have written anything as I chose to live there, but the final straw came when they took all of our security deposit. We did everything they told us to do to get our deposit back and then after moving out they said the guy who did our paperwork screwed up and there's nothing we can do, just like that. As college students that's a huge blow to lose an entire security deposit. It also shows you can't take these people at their word, and that integrity means nothing to them. 10/10 recommend living anywhere else. read more

No disclosure, false advertisement When you apply, you are applying to be on a list but they don't tell you that. Lists are common practice in bigger cities, but you are made aware that you are on a waitlist. These guys told me there was an availability, So I applied and then they told me I was approved but nothing was available, and that I was on a waitlist. Luckily Im in a flex situation, but if I wasn't I would've ended up homeless. Its a scam to get app money. read more

I have lived at the Willow Ridge Apartments for more than two years. It is an ideal location for me - close to lake walking trails, the dog park, and a great grocery store. Most importantly, I feel safe and cared for here! Management is responsive and respectful. It's also very dog friendly - I walk the entire complex every day with my dog and always get a nice hello from neighbors. The maintenance crew is awesome. Just this morning, I was dropping off my rent check in the office and asked if someone could come over and check out the toilet, as it kept running. It was fixed in less than an hour! Tenants are quiet, it's not a party place at all, which I greatly appreciate. If you are looking for somewhere to live, give them a call! read more

I applied and even included a reservation fee of about $300. I was informed that I was approved and when an apartment came open I would be contacted. A couple of months went by. I called and was told that too many residents renewed their leases. It has been over a year since I first applied and have yet to hear back from them. I hope they enjoyed my $300+ application fee and other administrative fees. I sure wish I could tell you more about the apartments, but as far as I'm concerned I was ripped off. read more

Lousy parking. This is not a place you want to live if you have more than one car or ever want to have guests visit you without fear of being towed. There are exactly one (okay, maybe two) guest spots in the ENTIRE parking lot. The rest of the spaces are assigned. It's pretty silly, because the parking spaces are wider than usual, so if they restriped them to normal width parking lots with some wider handicapped lots, there would probably be enough parking spaces for guests. read more

Travel nurse that paid an application fee, and then was called and told an apartment was available, but I had to send them an additional 285$ to hold it. So I did. They then emailed me the entire cost! They did not inform me of this until I sent them a holding fee. As a travel nurse we do 13 week contracts and they wanted a 1500$ security deposit, the 1500$ first months and a 400$ pet deposit. No internet, and they only cover utilities up to like 40$/month. As a travel nurse this is insanity! And they are not the quick 5 minutes to downtown as they advertise. More like 15. I emailed them immediately after receiving how much it would be stating that it was just too much. I literally called and emailed them within 5 minutes of them sending me the info. They are now refusing to return any of my holding deposit. This is very poor business. And I feel lucky I didn't move in. They seem corrupt and just conduct poor business. read more

The owner thinks he's Putin.No central air, they'll rent you a little window one for $35.00 a month.Covered heat duck's throughout the building's.Not enough parking for guest's.This is a septic tank,with 3 tanks & you will know how it feels to be up the creek! read more

I moved in to Willow Ridge last spring of 2020, and have become very disatisfied. I consider myself a senior(62) and am also somewhat disabled. I became more disabled this year(2021) and the management has since become unkind to me. I had fallen three times in my apartment, and almost a fourth time recently. As a result, I am unable to get to my mailbox, and also to my garbage can to empty my garbage. As a result, I cannot empty my garbage when I should, and the management has been harrassing me because of it. I had got some help from a friend to come over and empty my garbage about once a week because management said they had received complaints about the "smell" coming from my apartment. Then just a couple of days ago(9/29), I received a notice that basically said I have 5 days to get rid of the smell in my apartment or I would basically be evicted. 5 DAYS. I was under the impression that 30 days was the normal time. I have tried so hard to comply, but because of my handicaps, I cannot move as I should, so I have to get people to help me. I cannot afford to pay anyone so i have a friend that will come over once a week. Management WAS helping me but then decided they want to get rid of me. I can barely walk, let alone do alot of cleaning. But I have tried to comply, but by now I guess management doesn't want to listen. Please be careful where you decide to rent your next apartment, or you might end up where I am now. Facing eviction, and I am handicapped!! read more

DO NOT RENT HERE - They are people of low a moral code - They will find any reason at all to charge you for every little thing, Parking, Speeding, Power, Cable any chance they get they take it. They are currently trying to keep a 2000 dollar deposit from us and we will not lay down over this. They claim a dirty apartment takes 2000 dollars to clean. They charged 200 dollars a bathroom to clean - I am not sure what you do for a living but for the cost of a mop and bucket and a bottle of bleach - I would be happy to clean any apartment bathroom for 200 dollars - Its laughable honestly - we were more than willing to pay for extra cleaning because it was dirty but not damaged no stains on the carpet no holes in the walls. Its a real shame that people like this are out there doing business in the public. If this note finds anyone that feels the same way please contact me we are getting ready to take them to court. read more

I would give zero stars if that was an option. I turned in an application and put down a deposit $165 for a future apartment, not even a specific apartment but just a general " holding fee" , which I was told was refundable if I was to give notice that I was not moving there. Well, the day after my application got approved and I called to say I was choosing a different apartment complex , I was told that my $100 deposit was not refundable , which is entirely different than what I was previously told my Christine the manager! The apartment charge you and extra $25 a month for an a/c unit, it's Arizona ! Please don't give these people any money, they will tell you one thing and then take your money! Dishonesty from the beginning is a bad sign for future residency! They put nothing in writing, that way they can not be held accountable, please be careful ! Find another apartment complex that actually has integrity and cares about people. Don't get screwed out of your money. read more

I lived here for a couple years, it wasn't horrible, but wasn't great either. The apartments are TINY and don't have ac making half of the year pretty miserable. There's no guest parking and no street parking unless you want to risk getting a ticket. Landlord will screw you out of deposit for no reason. Overall not too bad of a place to live, but I have friends with nice apartments for way less. I payed nearly $900 a month here and it definitely wasn't worth it. Also had a very creepy lady who lived bellow me, I couldn't go outside without here going out to stair at me. You can also hear people very clearly when they're outside, so naturally her and her husband loved to have loud conversations on the porch starting at about 5am, always a great way to be woken up. If you're looking to live here I'd say keep looking, you can definitely find better. read more

Never ever trust this company. They have lied to me at every step from availability to non-refundable deposits. They will scam you for your money! They lied about their availability to get a hold deposit and then after having my money and credit, they told me their actual availability. However, I was told my deposit would be refundable. Then, when I found a place that doesn't lie about availability, they refused to refund the hold deposit for their fictional apartment. Beware the manager Robert will lie to you!!! read more
