I'm definitely a huge dental coward but am also so afraid to not go...so I do and that's only because of the absolutely phenomenal staff, particularly Gagan who is the gentlest, most patient hygienist who has always ensured my visits are painless...probably more so for me than him...ty Gagan! I struggle with X-rays if that gives you an idea of my comfort at the dentist's. Dr Stephens is also very kind & gentle read more

Arrived for our 9am appointment, was told the hygienist was sick and no one could do my autistic son's cleaning. I said a dentist could but was told only the hygienist could. Son woke up at 7am for this appointment and we're a 30 min car ride (ie not near) Receptionist didn't even try, didn't ask a dentist. Probably won't be coming back. read more

During a dental procedure Dr Maleki started talking to me about Invisalign and all the benefits it had to offer. After showing interest, he did a few measurements and said I would be an excellent candidate for Invisalign and to book the first appointment to start the process with the receptionist. I paid $650 for this first appointment and was told it would take about a month to come back with my Invisalign treatment plan. I returned to the office excited to see how my smile would improve but I received very discouraging news. Dr Maleki never submitted my file to Invisalign, instead he consulted with a friend of his that is his mentor for Invisalign. He stated that I would not be a candidate for Invisalign and that I would require jaw surgery and braces in order to fix my bite and straighten my teeth. Since he was unable to help me, he said he would refer me to a orthodontist he knows very well, it's been over 7 months now and I still have not received a phone call from this orthodontist. A month after this terrible news and not hearing from Dr Maleki's orthodontist referral, I decided to look for my own orthodontist. I paid a $100 consultation fee that would go towards my treatment plan and was told I am in fact a candidate for Invisalign. My orthodontist was shocked to hear that I had been recommended to get jaw surgery as my bite can easily be fixed with elastics. I am now 5 months into my Invisalign journey and already see results! My orthodontist explained that the $650 fee should only be collected if my file has been submitted to Invisalign and a treatment plan has been created. My orthodontist office called Dr Maleki directly to request a refund but they refused to refund me. I highly recommend going elsewhere for Invisalign. I believe this dental office does not have the proper education or experience to treat people with Invisalign. I'm so thankful I got a second opinion. read more

Don't recommend this dental office to anyone. the Dr. we have seen was great but she is in a different office now. she was the only reason that we could put up with the terrible front desk staffs. Making mistakes over and over again, billing wrong information to insurance company and when you go back to ask them , they can't fix it because they are saying that it would be fraud. Saying to the insurance company that you fix something on a tooth and actually fix it on a different one is not a fraud?? Trying to offer to us movie ticket so we are less upset? Don't get me.erong everyone makes mistakes , but every time? I called in to cancel my appointment and they could not find me in their system for 10mins? Unfortunately the Dr..is gone so we are read more

Willow Dental took full panoramic x-rays of my daughter's mouth right after we transferred there. I had expressly told them not to do this. Since then, I have experienced more examples of incompetence. I booked two kids for cleanings. One kid got three reminders. the other got none. On some occasions I got repeated reminders, even though I had acknowledged them. As far as staff and clinicians, it seems to be a revolving door. They have failed to identify, never mind fix, the source of ongoing dental pain. They convinced me to have the lower half of my mouth anaesthetized for a deep cleaning. This was the most savage cleaning I have ever had. It left me with massive canker sores, which I normally never get. After the scaling, my teeth had sharp surfaces on them. Granted, the dentist was very nice about polishing these down. If I hadn't asked him to, my tongue would have started bleeding from rubbing against my wonderfully scaled teeth. Not for the first time, I questioned whether a cleaning really needed to be so rough. And the kicker? They billed $131 to apply an ineffective "desensitizing" treatment. They did not advise me beforehand that my plan would not cover this. Realizing this, they agreed to charge me half price. I don't know why I agreed to pay for any of it. If you're looking for a dental office to milk your dental plan giving you overzealous scaling but not actually solve your issues so you can chew food, this is your place. read more

I have been to several different dentists throughout the Fraser Valley over the last few years. This office is by far the best experience I have had. The staff were professional and kind. I had a couple fillings done, one of them being on my front tooth. The procedure was quick and my results were perfect. Highly recommend this Dental Office. read more

Amazing dental office in every way

I have 'shopped' all over for a good dentist, from Maple Ridge to Coquitlam, to North Vancouver. Finally found Dr. Stephens and Sobia, my hygienist, at Willow Dental, and I love both of them. My teeth are super sensitive, so I needed some gentle, caring people to look after them. So happy I tried Willow Dental. Thanks Dr. Stephens and Sobia, and the whole team!! read more

My daughter has just completed Phase 1 (expander and brackets on top front teeth) to correct a cross bite with Dr. Maleki. I was shopping around for a dentist closer to home who I could trust (previously with my family dentist in Richmond). I met Dr. Maleki and had a good experience and later found out that my cousin highly recommended him, so we made the decision to move. Both my husband and I had to have expanders as children and I recall it as a painful and disappointing experience. My daughter had the complete opposite with Dr. Maleki. The expansion process was much slower and gentler and results amazing and with less time than anticipated. I found making appointments with the front office to be easy and the staff very pleasant. Sherry is super helpful, friendly and remembers who we are (even though we're still quite new). It is nice to be able to shop in the mall while waiting with siblings for appointments. I highly recommend Willow Dental Care for their professionalism, friendly service and great location. read more

I was seen by Dr. Nesrine Mostafa on Sept. 10, 2018 for filling, three teeth in the upper left (1st premolar-1st molar) and one in the lower right back teeth. She injected anaesthesia on the wrong side, lower left instead of lower right. She ended up not doing the filling on the right side as she wasn't able to freeze it becuase she did the freezing in the wrong side. After the filling was done and she was checking on my bite, she obviously got irritated as if she wanted me to say that it's fine where in fact my bite still was too high and only the upper left 1st premolar and the tooth below it had a contact. After the freezing had subsided, I had terrible pain from my left upper teeth area radiating upward to the left side of my head. It lasted for more than 48 hrs. I phoned the clinic to inform them. Of course the wrong injection site was not documented by the doctor. The pain over my head has subsided but pain over the upper left 2nd molar and 1st molar never went away until Saturday (Sept. 22) night when I visited another dentist in the afternoon. Took pain reliever every 6 hrs from Sept 10-22, but the pain had not totally subsided even with medicine which prompted me to see another dentist as it was really uncomfortable and irritating. I phoned them, raised my concern to the manager, booked me for another dentist Sept 24 (closest available time they have) but it was unbearable that I had to be seen right away so I visited another clinic. I had severe sensitivity up to this day from my upper left central incisor up to the 1st molar. It's really bad that it affects my eating, I had to tilt my head to the right side to prevent food from touching the left side of my mouth as sensitivity is worst even with food or drinks at room temperature, even the air that comes in my mouth when talking causes severe sensitivity. I visited another dentist on Sept. 22, 2018, had an xray done and they found out that Dr. Mostafa hit a tooth nerve during the filling that's causing sensitivity in all the affected teeth. My gums apparently were inflamed. Currently, sensitivity is worst at upper left central & lateral incisors and 2nd premolar &1st molar. I was trying to contact the clinic but they weren't answering my calls anymore or had not called back even if I left a message. I know it is the mandate of the College of Dental Surgeons of BC to protect the public so I guess I'll have to raise my concern to them since the clinic wasn't responding on my calls anymore. In all fairness, the clinic staff were all very accommodating and nice. read more

I have been going to Willow for about 5 months now.. I am one of the worlds worst patients for a dentist.. absolutely scared out of my mind of dentists.. well I was, operative word here is WAS!! What a phenomenal group of people, the reception group couldn't have been nicer and worked with me thru a family emergency that left me stranded and as for the dental hygienists.. wow!! That's all I can say.. just wow. And as for my dentist, she's amazingly gentle and how she puts a needle in without you feeling it still has me amazed *lol* Building trust with your patient is the key to making them relaxed, at least that's what I found. If they called me tomorrow and said you have an appointment.. instead of having my usual panic attack, it's be like... ok what time was that *lol* THANK YOU ALL!!! tk U, Tk U :-) read more

I had work done there last winter. I am a very nervous patient. I stopped in to see if I could get an appointment to see the dentist about a tooth that was bothering me not expecting to be able to see anyone that day but they were able to see me within an hour. I saw Dr. Molavi and she her assistants were absolutely excellent. Yes I did need an extraction and needed to see an orthodontist (Dr. Conn, also excellent) for work that Willow doesn't do. They also told me what costs were involved even without me asking. I have had some excellent dentists in my long life but Dr. Molavi and her staff are right up at the top as far as I'm concerned and I have recommended her to friends & family who have also had a very good experience. Some of these other reviews are totally opposite to what I and my family experienced. read more

I don't recommend Willow Dental Care Langley. They continue to create extra dental work that is not needed to your teeth. Kind of like the dishonest mechanic who rigs your car as they're fixing it so in short order something else will go wrong and you keep coming back to get things fixed. This is how they operate. read more
