I was referred by my dentist for a previous root canal that became infected. The team at Langley Endodontics was beyond professional and outlined the treatment option in detail. Everything about the procedure was explained ahead of time, I was given appropriate medications for pain management and the staff was beyond lovely. Everything wrapped up in just over an hour. I was sent home with a phenomenal care package and steps for check up in 1 year. Dr Conn and his assistant Emily were fabulous and I am in no pain hours after the freezing is out. Highly recommend to anyone in need of complex dental procedures!

Staff quoted me approx $220 and after the work was completed charged me nearly 6x the amount. The…read moreadmin circled an amount during an estimate meet stating this would be the cost. They didn't provide me with any documentation of said quote and after the work was done they immediately pulled out the chair for me to sit down and pay. I paid the full amount under the impression that my benefit company would cover almost all the cost. I got stuck with a bill for nearly $1300 for procedure that a regular dentist charges almost half the amount. I then spoke to the admin at Langley Endodontics. They denied they quoted me the lower cost and didn't follow up with my request to speak to the specialist Dr.Conn and get back to me. Lastly, they prescribed me Advil and Tylenol to take at a regular schedule. I ended up with burning stomach pain for almost 4 days.

He told me that it was probably just a misalignment or some such thing. well now the tooth seems to have died, and he wants to do a root canal, and crown. He says that the x-ray looks normal, and cant explain why the tooth would die, but we will do a root canal, and crown.

So I tried to call and set up an appointment but the lady on the phone was totally unprofessional and could not really handle the questions I was asking. I could hear in her voice how she was irritated by me asking questions, sorry, I cant really follow you saying a few dates one after the other in order to quickly see my calendar availability, and when I asked her could she please repeat the first date she mentioned, I could hear how she was upset with me asking her to repeat it. On top of that I asked if I will be able to set up another appointment in order to secure the spot as my insurance expires end of March. Perhaps I wasn't clear but she said itis a fraud to bill for future service, I didnt ask to bill for future service, all I said if there is an option to make sure I get service in March in order to be able to submit my claim in March. I find it very unprofessional to speak to the client in such way that you feel like you are doing something wrong. She is there to assist and explain information if the person is not clear. I did book an appointment though for checkup only thinking whatever. She is not the doctor. I after realized that I probably will give it a try to cleaning as well so I asked my friend to call and change the appointment if possible, well, I am not the only one who ended up with the same opinion about the receptionist. She wasn't professional again. The bottom line, I didn't get to see the dentist, perhaps he could be great but experiencing all above I had no choice but to cancel all.
