I don't understand these other yelp reviews because it's totally off from what is the truth. If you have healthy kids, they ( primary care ) usually eats up the cost of whatever's left. They are great business and Jennifer is one of the most informative dentist that I have ever met. She's very caring and professional and all of my children see her and we are low income and they never make us feel like it's about the money in fact, they make us feel like it's more about the kids oral health than anything. I can definitely assure you that this is one of the most incredible places that you can take your children to ensure that they have healthy teeth.

If that's the case then the technician should have a great tan at end of her day in the office. And charging patients a PPE fee? For every visit? Increased costs due to upgraded PPE is not the responsibility of the patients to pay. Other dental offices don't charge this, and the college of Denturists of B.C. said it's an optional charge....but the office manager here will tell you it's needed so they can remain open. WTF? It's an OPTIONAL charge, other dentists aren't charging it and they remained open during Covid but this business wouldn't survive without charging every patient an extra $10 per visit? Ridiculous. It's a tax write off for the business, and nothing but a cash grab. Take your child somewhere where they actually care about their patients and aren't just trying to take your $$.

From the minute, I walked in.... work being done today and setting up my next appointment - 10/10 in the client care department. They explained everything from what x-rays were being taken, and what future work will take place to solve my problem. One of the reasons for the long delay between dental visits......a fear of being hurt and having pain with an past experience (out of town, many years ago). The reason I went with MD is because it's family owned small business. It's a brother and sister duo. I like the intimacy and focus of a small business vs. A big company with lots of dentists. So far the quality of health care is stellar. The location is a little tricky as they are situated behind Langley hospital and can be a bit confusing to find. My maps was confused. However, I found it and it makes me feel more confident that they are close to the hospital. The only downside is the pay parking. $7 for 2 hours. I thought that was a bummer since moving out of the city the benefit to living in the suburbs is avoiding the money grab by the city parking meters. Dr. Yaz is very professional and friendly. I would recommend him for family care and kids. Also, his assistant, Diana is very nice and accommodating.

So I tried to call and set up an appointment but the lady on the phone was totally unprofessional and could not really handle the questions I was asking. I could hear in her voice how she was irritated by me asking questions, sorry, I cant really follow you saying a few dates one after the other in order to quickly see my calendar availability, and when I asked her could she please repeat the first date she mentioned, I could hear how she was upset with me asking her to repeat it. On top of that I asked if I will be able to set up another appointment in order to secure the spot as my insurance expires end of March. Perhaps I wasn't clear but she said itis a fraud to bill for future service, I didnt ask to bill for future service, all I said if there is an option to make sure I get service in March in order to be able to submit my claim in March. I find it very unprofessional to speak to the client in such way that you feel like you are doing something wrong. She is there to assist and explain information if the person is not clear. I did book an appointment though for checkup only thinking whatever. She is not the doctor. I after realized that I probably will give it a try to cleaning as well so I asked my friend to call and change the appointment if possible, well, I am not the only one who ended up with the same opinion about the receptionist. She wasn't professional again. The bottom line, I didn't get to see the dentist, perhaps he could be great but experiencing all above I had no choice but to cancel all. Too bad that bad receptionist cost dentist a new client.
