Dawn and her husband exceeded beyond my expectations! A few weeks ago, I was finalizing my Yosemite elopement and realized how difficult it would be to get reservations at a Yosemite Hotel restaurant. I did a little research and stumbled upon Willow Creek Catering. I emailed Dawn and she very responsive. By chance, she had a cancellation on the day of my wedding! Totally meant to be. We got on a call and discussed our plans for dinner. She provided options for vegetarians and diary/oat allergies and we created a menu together. On our wedding day, Dawn and her husband dropped off of the food at the Airbnb and placed it in the oven to keep it warm as we were heading down from Yosemite. She was so accommodating and texted me to make sure everything was okay. The food was DELICIOUS! My family and friends loved everything, especially the prime rib and chicken Marsala. We held our wedding reception at The Redwoods in Yosemite, which is somewhat remote and restricted our catering options significantly. However, we really lucked out with Willow Creek Catering. Not only are they very experienced working at The Redwoods, but they are just generally a fantastic caterer. They were very flexible with the menu options and charged based on how many guests rather than how many different dishes--they just scaled the dishes accordingly. This was NOT something we saw in any other caterer. Not to mention, everything they prepared was absolutely delicious. We got thumbs up from many of our guests. We were actually very excited for our reception because of this food. We did a tasting with Dawn that was amazing; at the last minute she let us bring a third person without charging and brought SO MUCH food. They also provided a bartender (extra fee) that made a signature cocktail and matching mocktail of our choosing. Their waitstaff were super friendly and helpful, and they were very helpful in taking down the event at the end of the night. Couldn't recommend more highly! read more

I can not recommend Willow Creek enough! They just catered our wedding for 150 people. Dawn is absolutely a joy to work with, she far exceeded what I expected in a caterer in that the food was perfect and we enjoyed her and the crews company just as much! I am really not good at organizing events and she made planning the food so easy that it was the one thing I didn't have to stress about at all. And my god was it amazing food! We had a Thai themed dinner and everything was exceptional. She made all the dishes vegetarian and our meat eating guests loved the food just as much as the veg heads. The food was delicious, the menu varied, the ingredients organic whole food, the meals on time, and the owners a delight to talk with. It's amazing what they could provide in a camping environment. Willow Creek Catering provided all food services for a team of 14 Yosemite Conservancy field service volunteers in Yosemite National Park during the first week of July. Dawn and Keary provided a large variety of very tasty and enjoyable options (Tai, Italian, Mexican, American........) throughout the holiday week. This was all done utilizing a covered outdoor kitchen at a volunteer campground with organic and locally grown items. First of, great food! We just recently have them cater for our wedding. The only thing that pisses me off is pretty much half of food are left overs. The guest didn't take any of them. We have 3 entrees and 6 side dishes good for 40 people. The dessert I would understand because it's in their glassware. Paid almost 3k. And half was gone. They didn't even ask us what to do with the left overs. Because of this I wouldn't recommend them. I felt they were dishonest and I felt completely robbed. So disappointing! Smokehouse41 is another catering we had for our rehearsal dinner. Better deal with them. Please look elsewhere for event catering. read more
