Schaylor Brewing is a locally owned brewery that features a craft kitchen. They also sell cocktails in addition to freshly brewed beer. From brisket flatbread pizzas, to CBD pints to trivia night, Schaylor Brewery is a great time. We started off with a beer flight and a half-pint. My boyfriend enjoyed all four flavors on his flight! I got the Pineapple Express CBD pint and fell in love. We ordered the house burger and brisket flatbread pizza for our entrees. Both were delicious. My only distaste is that I would challenge them to use a smokier BBQ sauce to compliment the brisket. Service: very friendly. The owner came by and chit-chatted with us for a bit. Atmosphere: lively. As a big beer and history fan, I had been following the birth of this place with great interest for…read moreyears. On a recent trip home, I finally made an effort to get here and had the best time. This is the new iteration of Lebanon's original brewery from the 1800s. The building is the same, and history is forefront with a great timeline on the entry wall. Even if you aren't into beer, it's worth a visit just to step back in time. I love all the brick buildings and side buildings; clearly this was a busy place. The new brewery is slowly using the space for different things, and I look forward to seeing how it grows and changes in the future. They have outdoor seating, lots of parking, and overflow parking, which are great for large groups especially during the warm months. I went with my dad and best friend; I had arranged to meet with brewer and co-owner Mike and was immediately greeted warmly by the bar staff. It was a sunny afternoon so we sat at the bar by a window and tried every beer! It was so much fun to go through the styles, some of which are taken from original recipes. They have a full food menu too, but we didn't try anything that day. They also have lots of dining tables in the main room. The brewing equipment is gleaming copper along the one wall, but it's misleading because it all goes down to the giant basement and production area. Mike kindly gave us a personal tour after our beer and showed us all the equipment, historical points with fun stories, plus the bottling room and their fun bottle caps. Beer quality is great, they have many cores and some limiteds on a rolling basis. Prices are reasonable as well. Beer is available chilled at the door to-go as well. If you're a beer fan, or interested in Lebanon Valley history, this is a must visit brewery!

For a wheelchair, it's tight getting in and out, as there are two single doors within 6 feet. The servers are friendly and helpful, letting us sample beers and making recommendations. The portion size were different. The only thing that we had a small complaint about was the burgers were only cooked well done that you couldn't choose the cook of the burger, but overall a good place would definitely go there again.

I needed to ask for mustard. That helped some but overall the taste was average at best. The biggest, and oddest, disappointment was the cucumber and watermelon seltzer. There was a very distinct taste that I couldn't put my finger on until I forced myself to take three sips. Finally I pegged the taste as pepto bismol - which is definitely not cucumber or watermelon. It certainly had to have been a bad batch. A very strange and very unsatisfying experience. Maybe it was just a fluke. I like to give places second chances because you never know what the story is and it could have been an off night. But, this place won't make it back on my list. One positive is that they had a few option of non-alcoholic beer.

As we were catching up with a friend we hadn't seen in a while, we sat for several hours outside.  During this time we ordered more than $100 in wine and food and were among a small handful of visitors that evening.  There was conflicting information about what time the place closed; their website and social media had contradicting times.  Regardless, one of the servers/food-runners, a young gentleman, helped us close out our check at which time we asked when they close.  He informed us they'd be closing the kitchen and drink sales within the hour, but continued saying we could stay as long as we'd like since we were sitting outside.  Fast-forward about an hour an older gentleman, who was the bartender and I'm assuming the owner, came up to our group and said in an annoyed voice, "You needed to be out of here an hour ago.  So, you need to get going."  He then stood there and stared at us while we gathered our belongings, made our way to our cars, and drove away. Had it not been for this negative experience I would have gladly returned as everything else about this place is pretty great.  Management should make sure their hours on their website and social media match, and, most importantly, get their staff on the same page about the policy for visitors outside who aren't staying on the property.
