This is our 3rd time staying here within 3 years. My main complaint is that they do not seem to mop their floors. First and second time we figured it was a fluke, (our socks and feet were dirty just from walking around in the room)this time I brought my own swiffer cleaner and will be adding pictures from our stay and marked on the pictures just where I moped and what it looked like on the mop. The breakfast isn't great. People kept smoking in areas they weren't supposed to be smoking which made swimming in the pool unpleasant. I can't say we will be back as there is nothing special about this hotel to make me want to keep dealing with such gross floors read more

Not a good hotel at all. We stayed here when we visited Dollywood being a partner hotel. Would have stayed on property but required a three night min and we where only staying two nights. Place was filthy, our room smelled of must. They lost the do not disturb sign for our room. It is soooo loud with people coming in and out at all hours. You have no privacy at all. If I wanted a soda at the end of the night had to leave my room go down stairs to get it, but it's all outdoors, so in my pajamas not ideal. The reason I'm giving it two stars is my kid could have lived there because there was an indoor and outdoor pool. The breakfast in the morning also was good. read more

An older hotel that has had some updates. The pros of this place is the location and price. They offer a 15% military discount, which is so appreciated. The rooms are okay. We did have a fireplace and a jacuzzi tub. You could tell that our room had been flooded a few times near the tub area. There was wood rot and a musty smell. The room was quiet except for the occasional plumbing noise. I expect they didn't update any of the plumbing or electric when they did cosmetic updates as some of the outlets didn't work. Overall, I would recommend for the price and location. I would avoid a jacuzzi tub room in the future as I'm sure there is mold growing in those rooms. It's a good deal for families and the elderly as it is quieter and close to everything. read more

Okay, I'm generally a high-end hotel person, but I had to host a large church group of teens to a Pigeon Forge event over a weekend, and the staff at Willow Brook could not have been any more accommodating or helpful, They made it easy to bring a large party of 50 in. The facilities were good for the group, the continental breakfast was very helpful, and the resort is walking distance to the LeConte Convention Center, which is a big plus. So, yeah, this place ain't the Four Seasons, but I'll be back next year. read more

I don't even know where to begin. I trusted all of the good reviews I read on this hotel which is why I booked a room here. The room was so dirty and not maintained at all. I felt like I was in the 70's. There was dirt and dust built up in each corner of the room. The floor made our feet turn black. The toilet seat would shift when you sit on it; I thought I was going to fall off of it. The bed was so incredibly uncomfortable!! I think every spring in the mattress was broken. When I laid down on the bed I sunk a good foot into it. When I woke up after the first night I could cry; I was so sore. There was hair that did not belong to us stuck to the bathroom door. There was hair hanging from the balcony over our room door that did not belong to us. The breakfast was absolutely terrible. I don't expect much from a hotel breakfast, but typically I will eat it anyways... I walked into the breakfast area and walked right back out. I tried booking a room at other hotels, but because it was spring break everything was booked in the area. The worst hotel experience of my life. I do not recommend this place. read more

Nice hotel. Indoor and outdoor pools, jacuzzis. 3 levels of comfortable rooms. Stayed in the recently renovated mid-priced rooms. Each room has blow dryer, iron and ironing board, microwave, refrigerator, and coffee maker. Continental breakfast was excellent! The dining room could easily be a nice restaurant Displayed above the door in the dining room are numerous awards for tasteful decorations.. Should be 3.5, but I'll err on the positive side. We stayed here for two nights over thanksgiving. The photos online are obviously nicer than the room actually was, but that's at least somewhat to be expected. I will say, though, that housekeeping did a great job. That room was as clean as it could possibly be. Pros: - As above, super clean! - mattress wasn't that bad, but held a lot of heat. - close to all attractions. - Walgreens shares a parking lot. - Sits right on the Little Pigeon River. -Wi-Fi was good at all times. Cons: - PILLOWS. Please, for the love of god, get some new pillows. - COUCH. Please get a new one that doesn't have the vinyl finish worn off in certain spots. - TV needs to be simpler to use. - Room smelled a little musty. - Heat / AC unit could use an upgrade. Consistent fan didn't blow warm air all the time, just air, which was a little chilly in late November. Would I stay again? Sure. It was a good price for what we got. But I'll NEVER enter Pigeon Forge ever again, so there's that. Luckily, the experience at the hotel was one of the only good ones that we had. read more

Family stayed there Thanksgiving week. Food good, room clean, staff nice. Upon returning home realized that our UVa sweatshirt navy blue and orange large blanket was left in the room. Contacted hotel same day as departure. Finally talked with someone after 4 attempts. Was told to call back Sunday which we did. Described the blanket and actually told where we left it. As of today blanket cannot be located, value is almost $80 for blanket. Be careful if you stay there, make sure you double check the room before leaving. Just returned from a 3 night stay in this hotel. Have stayed here before but never in a 2 queen room over the pool. I've stayed in rooms with queen beds before and I have to say these were the smallest QUEENS I've ever seen. When we checked in and saw this I went back to the office, inquired about the size and was told that was the standard size of a queen. Oh well. We did arrive a little early and had to wait because our room wasn't clean. My question is this. What part of the room were we waiting on to have cleaned? There was thick dust on the night stand between the beds, some kind of yucky crumbs all across the dresser, not to mention the top of the tv nor the small table in the room hadn't been wiped off. Obviously this room hadn't been occupied in a while or their staff had missed it. Here's the worst part. Tuesday night as we're packing to leave my Mom spilled water on the floor so she gets a couple of napkins wipes it up and they're black with dirt!!! Obviously the floor has not seen a mop in quite a while. So I decide to look at the bottom of my slippers I've been wearing the last few days!! I think the pictures speak for themselves These were clean when I put them on Sunday night!!! What happened to all the cleaning, sanitizing and special care taken because of Covid-19? Love this hotel. We have visited this establishment multiple times and have never been disappointed. Rooms are clean, staff are friendly and go above and beyond to make your stay a pleasant one. Discount to repeat customers. I'm also adding pics from our stay the other night. Last minute decision to stay in the area leaving us to find other accommodations for lodging. We ended up canceling our reservation at the other hotel after finding mold on the ceiling (other hotel reviewed as well). We came back to Willow Brook Lodge in hopes they had something/anything. So thankful they let us stay in their hotel room/apartment that sleeps 10 at a discount since it was already 11pm and there was only the two of us. Otherwise we probably had to settle for another shabby hotel. read more

1 star......Lack of care and support about racist issues encountered while visiting their facility over 4th of July weekend, in 2021. Actions speaks louder than words. There was no follow up about the incident, no one insured we were safe or otherwise, though there's cameras everywhere. General Manager never asked any details, I volunteered the information she did learn, like my name, room number, time of incident, etc. She was very nonchalant and dismissive of our emotions. We shouldn't limit our stay because of other customers, yet we were asked if we were leaving or staying, as if we were the trouble makers by the General Manager, Mrs. McClure. When your Night Security Guard became standoff ish the next night, it was very telling. We were simply saying thank you for reporting to General Manager. He was very helpful the night before, the night of the incident, though it was after the fact. I just wanted to know you all cared enough to take action and we weren't only Family that reported that issue either, apologies came from those that reported the problem too. For future reference, apologies mean nothing when the Guest feels as if money led your decision to do nothing. Money over Safety was the sole motivation, period. Feeling as if racism is accepted or brushed of as if we have no rights to feel how we did is just very heartbreaking. We've encountered so much this past few months and this vacation was much needed. We just wanted to bring this REAL issue to your attention so that no one else feels defeated or even less than important. Blessed read more

We had a fantastic 5 night stay. The employees are all very friendly and welcoming. The room is huge and the beds are comfortable. There is an outdoor heated pool with a waterslide and a hot tub, as well as an indoor pool and hot tub, which are open late. The complimentary breakfast was very tasty. Great place to stay! Rooms clean, spacious and comfortable. Hot breakfast is great! The ladies working the breakfast area never stopped, either refilling or cleaning. We stayed here on a post-Christmas getaway to Pigeon Forge. It was my husband's first trip so we were pretty excited. I booked the hotel package through Dollywood because we wanted to go there too, and the package deal was a good price. The hotel is in a great location- it's within walking distance to the Old Mill, which is the main trolley hub but also has a lot of restaurants and shops. You can also walk to Walgreens and a few other stores and restaurants, and it's near the light for easy turning when going south on the parkway. We liked all of those things. The room was pretty basic, which was fine because we were only there for two nights and to sleep. It had a hair dryer, iron, heated bathroom, cable TV got a lot of channels. The lobby also offered cookies in the afternoons and hot coffee and apple cider, we liked that. The hotel has outdoor corridors but we never had any problems with noise. The Christmas decorations were also cute. Only two complaints we have are with the wireless internet and the breakfast. We never could get the wireless to work due to its configuration, my husband finally had to manually connect to it. The staff said it was due to the weather (it was cloudy), but we don't think that was it, as we had great signal in the room but couldn't connect. Also, the breakfast could use more variety- maybe a waffle iron, some meat (aside from the sausage gravy), and a few more fruits besides apples (which were tasty but located away from the rest of the breakfast). We ate both mornings but if we stayed another night, we would have gone out just for some variety. read more

This is the most bang for your buck for lodging in Pigeon Forge, great location very hospitable staff, very clean to be an older hotel and a wonderful complementary breakfast every morning. But the next time me and my family stay here it will be in the north wing ,it's a little newer and had balcony facing the strip. read more

I booked this hotel for my husband's birthday. The weather turned bad and 18 hours from whenI booked the room, I called to cancel due to weather and driving issues. I was told that they had a strict 48 hour cancellation fee, which I didn't see in the Expedia policy and when I explained to the woman that I hadn't had that long to even book it, could I get the fee credited for when the weather was better to make a 4 hour drive, She bluntly refused. Expedia explained that they tried to get them to wave the 84.50 cancellation fee and they wouldn't work with them either. The room was only 79.00. This really sucks, we will not be staying at Willow Brook Lodge ever!!! The reviews aren't that great anyway. read more

I am so disgusted with my stay at this lodge after booking because of the indoor pool it has. Which I needed to use for training while I was vacationing with my family. As I was warming up in the jacuzzi at approximately 9:05 a.m I witnessed four woman from the cleaning crew dip there cleaning rags in the pool and begin cleaning the windows. I was mortified! If this unsanitary practice of cleaning is used daily I see why the pool looked murky. I brought this to the attention of the manager and she seemed surprised to hear this and agreed it was not appropriate cleaning method, however did nothing to ease my disappointment that I couldn't use the pool for what I needed it for. I thought that was unprofessional she had no regard for my inconvenience thus this review. I was able to use the other outdoor pool however not for actual laps. It was cleaner but at full capacity used mostly by the kids enjoying the slide. I definitely won't be staying there again. I took a chance with a lodge on the strip and was thoroughly disappointed. The room was Meh! And I will stay at one of the major Hotel brands moving forward. read more

I've experienced way better, the pictures made it look nice and it wasn't. It was outdated and tacky. The couch was vinyl and the bed had a sheet and a blanket no comforter. The bathroom needed paint but was clean, very small. My room was by the pool so it was very noisy. The pool was really crowded and it was just April. The breakfast buffet was below average. I wouldn't stay here again. It's located on the parkway where all the action is. I would suggest an upper room with a balcony might be a better choice. read more

Good location for nearby walking. But rather thin walls and floors. People hanging over the balcony all night drinking and yelling. Kids fist fighting in pool area. Good hotel for the low cost. We were there 4 day, on the 3rd day I stepped on a sewing pin.. hope my foot doesn't fall off. We checked out the breakfast but didn't eat it. Not impressed. The indoor pool is great and very busy. Good time for the kids. It is very loud, we heard everyone walking by our door. Right near everything. 5 minute drive from dollywood. Walk to golf, mining, gokart, the island, big daddys pizza and walgreens. Overall id probably try a new hotel next time. read more

Disappointed. The room had mold growing on the headboard of bed (rooms are dark so we didnt notice right away). We just put our things in the room and went out for the day. At bedtime my daughter became ill quickly from the mold exposure. They did move us to another room but we noticed the next morning someone else was already checked into that moldy room. The carpet was filthy and the batroom exhaust fan did nothing but make noise not actually any air exchange. This was the case in all three rooms we had (we had two rooms for our family). On a positive note, the pools were nice and the location is convenient to arcades, go carts, kiddie rides, and gift shops. Also walking distance to Walgreens in case you require it. We have stayed here for several years but we will look for a new favorite place to stay. read more
