This was expensive considering other places were charging $45. I made a note to the receptionist and he said that was what Dr Helen Lee said. Obviously, I didn't go with Dr Lee. I didn't even have to step into this place to get a bad impression. I recently purchased new…read moreglasses with plastic frames and needed to have a metal nose bridge installed on them. I came across a website http://www.mccrayoptical.com/ that named this optical in a list of places that could provide this service. When I called Fleetwood Family Eye Care, the woman who answered the phone immediately asked if I had purchased my glasses from them, and when I explained that I had not purchased my glasses there but was referred to them for the service of installing the nose bridge, she was very rude to me. She asked, "Well, are they broke?" (or maybe she meant 'broken'? Where do people learn to speak English nowadays, anyway?) I told her they were not broken and again explained that I was requesting an installation service after being referred to them. LONG. PAUSE. I then said, she obviously didn't know what I meant, and she HUNG UP ON ME! Needless to say I am happy I did not patronize this place. If their phone etiquette is any indication of their customer service I would not recommend them to anybody.
