And the Dr made casual conversation with me while she was looking at my eyes... I just love when clinics make you feel welcome. They weren't stiff and boring and didn't make me feel like I was infringing on their day for showing up, like most doctors office receptionists and assistants act. AND she made notes on all these different lenses for me after I told her about my last ones getting scratched so easily... It was just nice. And price was fair for exam ($115 - I'm sure there are cheaper places but I didn't mind paying because they were just all so great.)

We ended up getting a new pair of eye glasses for my wife which helps reduce the strain on her eyes when she looks at a computer screen. When I returned to Lynden for my eye exam, I had a completely different experience. I was assigned to work with the manager, Dom, and let's just say, the interaction was less than ideal. He lacks professionalism and customer service. He told he that I could not have the blue frame. That I could only choose a frame that he had in stock. I will never work with him again. I left Lynden and got my glasses from Ferndale with Jessica! I am much happier with the experience there. If you can make the drive to Ferndale, i would spend your money there instead of Lynden. Dom doesn't care about his customers.

To book I sent an email from their website & they followed up with a phone call where an appointment was made and they took information they needed. Arrived and was seen immediately, with zero delay or waiting around despite not being the only customer. Each person I dealt with was friendly, polite and efficient. Social distancing protocols, screens on the machines & PPE meant I didn't feel unsafe at all throughout. They were thoroughly wiping, cleaning and sanitizing all surfaces. There are so many negative reviews of his staff on the internet but nothing seems to change there. He condones their bad behaviour by not addressing the issues. Please retrain your staff on how to provide customer service or hire new people.
