I have to thank Debbie Mozelle for her great service. I purchased a pair of readers (which she had so many to choose from it took me forever to decide!), but had an unforeseen problem with them. She was so accommodating and helped me find another great pair! I also found some great work glasses that I will be buying and I will definitely tell everyone I know to go there! A wonderful quaint shop with a wonderful shop keeper is what I found when I stepped into Debbie Mozelle's eye centre. I went in for what I was hoping would be a simple fix on my sunglass arm. I was hoping it wouldn't be too much of a cost, but was looking to pay what I could assume would be about $30; who knows nowadays! I was surprised to see that Debbie was excepting appointments only, and no walk-ins at my time of arrival. My disappointment did not last long as Debbie happily greeted me at the door as she said goodbye to some exiting customers. I sat for a short time as she assisted someone; next came my turn. She was very friendly told me that it would be a simple fix, and she would see if she had the screw to fix my sunglasses. It took her perhaps five minutes, but in that time I found her warm, pleasant and thorough as she made sure all the screws in both arms were tightly secured for no future problems. She gave me no charge for her help, and I offered to leave this review as a thank you. I will definitely be returning, I suggest you do the same. read more

My mom and I came in to pick up lenses made by my sunt recently. The initial phone call to say that my aunt was in the hospital with stage 4 cancer and explsining that wed be picking up the lenses was met with indifference from Debbie. 3 times in the short conversation she brought up "paying for the lenses". When we arrived, the first thing Debbie did was dart to the cash register. This experience with Debbie experience was baffling. My mom continued to try and explain to Debbie that her sister won't need these glasses and Debbie could say was "trust me she is going to need these glasses" with no remorse or comprehension of my mom trying to tell her she is not leaving the hospital..ever. My mom was stunned and speechless enough to finish the transaction as the lenses had already been made. Debbie's lack of respect was evident. She could only hear herself talk and as we left once again saying "hope she gets better soon." when we had explained numerous times that she wasn't going to get better. No attempts to show sympathy. This service experience was unacceptable on so many levels. read more

I had great customer service when I first went the get my glasses. After that it went all down hill. They didn't take the appropriate measurements for my glasses. When I went back to get them fixed they said it was my optometrist fault. I went back to my optometrist, they had double checked my eyes and the glasses. They had told me the measurements were off. I go back to Debbie tell them what my optometrist said. The staff told me that my eyes still need to adjust to the glasses and everything will be fine. That was 6 months ago. I still can't wear my glasses. I feel like I have beer goggles on. The frames are so cheap they bend easily. It wasn't worth my time and money to go there. read more

I had a great experience with Debbie and the White Rock location. Debbie took the time to let me try many frames and styles. I was never rushed and found two frames I love. My lenses are correct and I can clearly read even small point sizes. The pricing was great for two pairs of progressives. A total recommend! read more

You know I am a Real Person, not asked to say anything good or bad but you know, I had a mistake in my Glasses part by the Dr and part by Debbies Crew, when I came in and 4 months later to check why I was still blurry thinking it was because I didn't have tints this time found out the prescription was wrong... In reply to your b.s. comments, I WAS a customer, even mistakenly brought my elderly parent to purchase glasses. I am female, not "Mr. Lee"--not about to post my last name, but be assured I did buy glasses from you for myself, my young son, and my father who bought the cheap, crappy titanium frames that I referred to. The only glasses that were okay were the single visions for my son. The progressives for myself weren't wearable, and all you offered to do was upsale me another, MUCH more expensive lenses--hmmmm--- You DID refund my father for the "titanium" chinese frames after admitting they shouldn't have fallen apart. I only review companies that I feel strongly about service I've received, good OR bad, I don't appreciate you calling me a liar. Shame, accept peoples' reviews and try improving your business practices. read more

I took my kids to Debbie Mozelle to get contact lenses and glasses, Debbie personally helped them. She was very nice and helpful, listened to what we needed, and even contacted our insurance to ask about our coverage! We are very happy with the service in this store, and the price for contact lens fitting is also very reasonable compared to other places. I called in the morning before I went there and talked to a guy named Brian, he was very patient in answering all my questions. We will definitely come back. read more

I needed buy new glasses but I have a complex prescription and was wondering where to go. But I am so glad I went to Debbie's. Her and her staff are awesome! They knew their stuff and were wonderful to me! Not only did they know about my prescription but they helped me find a great frame that made me feel hip and cool. I was going to buy an average frame and she showed how a more modern frame would be more attractive and she was right! I've gotten so many compliments and feel good with my new glasses! As well, they showed the cutting edge top of the line progressive lenses, one that would really help me read and see in a much clearer better way! What can I say they helped me! They went over and above the call of duty in ensuring my bi-focal glasses were at the store and available next day in time for me to have them prior to my departure to Vanderhoof BC on a Business trip. Love them. The customer service is great and they really work to help you. I was told about this store by a friend who has been going there for years. She said they have the best customer service around and she was right !!! I took my mom there and they made her feel so comfortable that she didn't want to leave. Very friendly and personable staff, it's a pleasure to visit them. My glasses were ready sooner than they had estimated, and when my toddler broke the arm off of them a month or so later, they were happy to order in the part and fix it for me, no hassle and completely free.
