We were hungry and looking for good local food. A quick Yelp search led us here. The place doesn't look like much from the parking lot, but don't let that deter you. When you walk in you walk towards the back and order at the counter. They give you a number tent which you take to your table so they can find you to deliver your food. The menu is extensive so take your time before heading to the counter. It was a beautiful day so we ate outside. The outdoor area is unique and whimsical. A portion of the outdoor area is under a tent-like structure which would be useful when the weather doesn't cooperate. I ordered the Seasonal Wiener: American AF. My wife ordered: Don't Hassle the Hoff but held the kraut. Both were excellent (hers was better). They also have an extensive beer menu. Service is friendly and prices are reasonable. It was kind of cool to see that diner look from the outside and from the inside. There's some seating inside but space is limited. Quite a few picnic-like bench tables outside. But the food isn't really worth the money. Small burgers and small hot dogs which are not even charbroiled. You literally can make better at home. I know that the location has been there for quite some time and it gives off that nostalgic feel. But I was kind of disappointed. To each their own but it wasn't for me.

That was such a good call because that mayo is amazing. The employee made sure to check with me to make sure I knew it was spicy and then told me that all of their sauces are made in-house. As a major condiment fan, I love that and they even gave me a side of the Hennessy mustard on the side to try. It's good and the Hennessy really hits you upfront but doesn't linger in the aftertaste which was nice. They have a ton of options for both vegans and omnivores alike so I'd certainly recommend stopping by and trying out their menu. The staff said that of all the restaurants in the plaza they had the most vegan options which is cool! There are pre-assembled choices as well as ones that are customizable. Overall we liked the burgers and the fries! I'm a huge fan of the potato bun as it beautifully wraps up the contents of the burger. I did find the burger saltier than what I've had in the past which wasn't ideal. The cheese fries were freshly made, crispy, however the portion was quite small. Still very happy to have eaten shake shack after eating it years ago in the states, and given the quality, I would definitely return if I'm craving a smashed burger patty.

And they carry all the fixings you want on your hot dogs. Since 1993 they've been at it running this joint for 30 years which has become a Cambridge fixture. They sell sodas along with an ice cold drinks like their Strawberry Lemonade. It's pink and fruity, sweet and sour. Honestly they have the best chili cheese fries. Topped with zig zags of ooey gooey orange coloured cheese sauce that makes it oh so good. Also ate a KRAUT DOG - which comes topped with sauerkraut and bacon. You know the saying that there's always room for ice cream? They serve Shaw's Ice Cream made from 100% Canadian Dairy Cream in Southwestern Ontario. Carl Shaw founded Shaw's Ice Cream in St. Thomas, Ontario in 1948 but Tillsonburg is home to their new ice cream production facility. L.A. FRANKS serves up ice cream in cones, and they also make thick 20 oz Malted Milk Shakes, plus good old fashioned Ice Cream Floats.
