There were some plastic Muskoka chairs near the pickup window. Ice cream is, I believe, from London Ice Cream Company. They did not have soft serve. I got a coupla flavours in a cup, Pumpkin/Pistachio, and they were just alright. Kinda harder texture, not creamy. Pistachio was almost a neon green and it did have a tinge of artificial flavouring...hence the strange colour. Ice cream also had some kinda texturizing ingredient which made it stretchy. I prefer softer, more creamy texture, so the ice cream here wasn't my jam.

If you're in the mood for diner food, this is your place! Also, elsewhere will either take too long or be an dine-in restaurant. Now, don't set your expectations too high because this is a beach diner. Fish & Chips & some soft serve is all you can expect. I once made the mistake of ordering a salad--or the sad sister of thereof. I got a pile of lettuce with a baggie of croutons and something that resembled ground turkey. Voila! They call it a Caesar Salad. Don't make the same mistake. Port Dover is famous for their perch and this is exactly what you should order. The portions are always generous but not overwhelming--nobody wants to eat too much at the beach anyways. Their fries are pretty good, but I find it depends on when they changed the oil (typical diner problems). If you're a beach-goer, this is your spot! We chose a single scoop of peach ice cream on a wafer cone. The peach ice cream had bits of peaches in it. The serving was generous, enough for hubby and I to share. Cash or debit payment only.
