What a great find . This is a very old company from the looks of the building . It's been a while since its seen some renovations . But the ice cream very good real icecream at a great price . While we where there some buses stop looks like a must stop for tour companies . The bissness split in half one half looks like a old dinner the other just take out ice cream . Went here for lunch at around 1:30pm this past Saturday and the place was busy! Thankfully there were a few stools remaining around the corner at the counter. We were quickly greeted by the waitress that was friendly. We ordered the Banquet Burger and Fries. You can actually see them cooking everything up on the grill. Our burgers came within 15 minutes and they were loaded with toppings (see picture). The burger was nice and crispy, just the way I like it! Our fries came shortly thereafter and were super crispy. For dessert I ordered a slice of apple pie with whipped cream. It tasted really good as well with small chunks of apples. Then if that wasn't enough, we had ice cream on the other side of the place. The staff here are super friendly and always happy to answer any questions. I ordered a small moose tracks (vanilla base with chocolate sauce and peanut butter cups) which was quite tasty. This place never seems to disappoint and we will definitely be back for another lunch and ice cream! read more

The best milkshakes on the planet! This is an old school- original condition diner/dairy bar. They have fresh local dairy available to purchase (ie. goats milk, cheese, sour cream, icecream, yogurt, etc) and a wrap around counter for people to sit at. Good little burgers, painfully slow service. Stopped in here as we often do on a road trip to the beaches on Lake Erie. It was moderately busy but it was a weekday so not too bad. Ordered three burgers and fries from the disinterested older woman who does most of the cooking. Was informed it would take 10-15 minutes or so but it took 30+. Was painful to watch her work at a snails pace. They really don't seem to do any prep work and make everything to order. That's a good thing for the patties as I want them fresh. But do I really need to watch you slice an onion like you didn't expect anyone to order a burger today? Lol Anyway the burgers and fries are still really tasty. Remind me of Burger's Priest but at a better price. Just don't expect a quick stop as it was close to an hour by the time we got back on our way. read more

Love this place. . . It's one of these little road side dairy/diners that's obviously been around for a while and still serves up home style favourites to the travellers lucky enough to pass by. Walking into this place makes me feel like you've stepped back in time to a simpler place.. and that's not a bad thing :) I was traveling through on my way back from fishing and my friend raved about this place. I heard their other offerings are very good, but I simply came for the ice cream. They have a menu that changes from time to time with regards to flavours. It has a retro feeling and you can tell it's popular, because it was jam packed with people and customers. I tried their coffee and cream fudge ice cream. Great little spot for some comfort food or an ice cream sundae. Cool '50s ambience. I like the counter seating as I often stop in by myself. This is an old school ice cream parlour. It looks like it hasn't changed since the 50s. It would make a perfect movie set. The ice cream is pretty good too and not expensive at all.
