Gonna keep it simple, his staff is nice, Willie talks to you like he has no patience, went in for new tires tubes chain and drive train was loose as well. Only 3/4 of those things were done. Spent $170(insanely overpriced) to have my bike like brand new and now I'm currently fixing it myself and spent more money in repairs than the what the total bike cost. Do it yourself, ask a friend or watch YouTube videos. read more

My experience was terrible. It started off great but the service and pricing were not matching at all. We agreed to one thing, he did what he wanted to do and charges me for a half assed job. This shop is a scam. They charged me 200 dollars to change my brakes and my tires when I git the bike back they only changed the tube and adjusted the break screw. When I asked them about it he changed his story and told me he charged me 160 dollars for 2 tube not tires and 40 dollars for twisting a tensioner screw next to the brakes not changing the brakes at all. He would not fix the service or refund my money despite his so called miscommunication. The owner of the shop himself is the person who scammed me out of 200 dollars as well as 30 dollars transport fee. They will take your money and not fix any of the issues. read more

Really crappy business people. Expect to be treated like a mark. First off, no one is wearing masks, and Miami is the hotspot of COVID-19. I bought a couple bikes for $200 each on Saturday. I brought them home. I look online and they retail for $150. I call him on Monday and say I want to return them. He says "not today, we're too swamped." I come back Thursday and he says he'll charge me $100 per bike as a 'rental fee'. I am surprised. He decides to lower the price to $90 per bike because he's such a great guy. I don't like leaving one-star reviews, but people have to know this is a lousy business. They sold me shoddy bikes, got them back, and still made $180 off my family. read more

I am so lucky to have Willie's nearby. I have been having a heck of a time lately with my back tire popping, and Willie has been doing everything he can to figure out why it's happening. On multiple occasions after he replaced my tube, it popped on the first ride. He took the bike right in each time, tried something else, replaced the tube and refused to take my money. This is a man with tremendous integrity and love of his community, and I'm so grateful. I'm hoping that we've finally now gotten to the bottom of it, and I won't need to have the tub replaced again anytime soon. I just went in this bike shop about an hour ago simply looking to put air in the tires of a bicycle that I purchased from a friend in New York City, Willie Checked the gears, the alignment of the bike, oiled my gears, added air to the tires and even taught me how to ride the bike, as I was nervous about changing the gears and the chain falling off.. BEWARE SCAMMER My friend Chris needed his bicycle completely dismantled so it can be put in storage..Willie said it will cost $45. He removed the front wheel claiming it was difficult and took an hour to do so and he lied about the rear wheel saying it too was difficult to remove but Chris and I knew the rear wheel came off easily. He charged Chris $45 to remove both wheels and gave Chris the bicycle back with everything else still on it , Chris shows the bicycle to me and I told him what had happened to him and he took the bicycle back to Willies and now he charged him another $40 to remove the rest of the parts. This man is dishonest and will SCAM anyone who doesn't know much about bicycles. read more

Walked in owner is smoking a cigarette and not wearing a mask. I don't know too much about bikes just that I knew I wanted to buy one. I pointed to a bike I liked, the owner told me it was used and would cost me $350 and if I'm charging it on a card their would be a fee. I thought that was a bit strange so I left. I googled the same bike online and brand new it costs $320. Never going back. He was dismissive and rude to all my questions and when another couple walked in he seemed to be able to answer all of their questions without attitude. I have only been here once and had a very positive experience. I needed to buy lights for my wife and I's bikes in order to do critical mass. The owner (at least I think he was the owner) was great, he suggested which product I should buy and it was actually the most economical light available. I love that he didn't try to sell me something ridiculous. I purchased the item and then I asked how much they charge for people to fill their tires with air? He said it was free... I was skeptical but sure enough when we came back later on with our bikes the owner himself helped us fill our tires with air for free. I got a flat on the 79th st causeway late on Memorial Day after 6 pm I was greeted with a big smile and Willie worked on my E bike immediately . Chris his associate was helpful as well . I just finished up with first experience at Willies. Very impressed at first when I called to ask if they could do a tune up on my Marin Full Suspension MTB, the gentleman was courteous and helpful as could be. I dropped my bike at 2:15 and needed new tires, new tubes, liners in the tires and a full tune up. My bike was ready and looking BRAND NEW by 5:30!!! I gladly paid $210 (I asked for the best of everything for replacement parts). Tom took care of me and is an absolute Gentleman. I also got to meet Willie himself and we wheeled and dealed over a road bike that I liked. I'm going back tomorrow with my wife's Bianchi for a tune up. The tallbike parked outside beckoned like a deformed hooker (of which there used to be plenty of on this revamped part of Biscayne). A TALLBIKE? In Miami? I had to go in. The place is tiny. Postage stamp tiny. No gleaming road bikes with hangtags that would give you a heart attack. No slatwalls completely covered in merchandise. No expensive team jersey and bib sets. But as a bike geek, I could appreciate what I found: A bike mechanic who knows his stuff, and that is more focused on repairing the bike you have rather than trying to sell you something new (damn our disposable mentality, bikes can last forever if you take care of them!). I work at a bike shop (my coworker, a bike mechanic for six years, calls Willie the best bike mechanic in Miami). I send people here when they can't afford our parts or services, and have had customers come back happy. That says a lot more to me than a slick and expensive retail 'experience'. So go ahead and visit the shop. Willie may offer you a chance to ride the tallbike (as he offered me!). And don't let the dingy walls scare you away. My father told me never to trust mechanics with a too clean shop and grease-free hands, that's some solid advice there! read more

There's some bikes for sale, but nothing to compete against the likes of A1 Scoot Skate & Bike, or RB's, but Willies is an extremely knowledgeable bike-aficionado.
