This is a small pop shop in Hialeah worked and owned by Leon "Leo" for over 30 years. I've taken bikes here for years and the quality of work is great. PARKING: The entrance of the shop is in the back. MUST PARK BEHIND THE SHOP and drive into the shopping center to get there. PRICES: BEST prices I've seen in South Florida for bike repairs. Not sure how good the prices of bike sales are here because I've only repaired. SERVICE: Service is not quick during COVID-19 because there aren't enough workers to meet the extremely high demands, but outside of quarantine, the time of repair is quick or normal. Owner doesn't have the best communication or seasoned customer service skills, but he speaks English and Spanish and the man knows what he's talking about. I often go to Hialeah Schwinn Cycle to pick up several items for my mountain bike or for tune ups after a long day of riding in the trails. There a mom and pop shop, so don't expect to be wowed, like if you go to a Trek or Giant store, they will take care of your needs and provide the maximum service . They sell multiple type of bikes. However, they specialize in road and mountain bikes. They also sell several accessories and components to place on you bike. In addition, they have a full service station for repairs, additions and tune ups. The tune ups can run anywhere from $30 to $50 bucks depending on what you want or need. I'll be honest I usually do things myself but when the bike is really muddy from the trails near by at Amelia or I am just simply to lazy I'll swing by here and they'll conduct a simple tune up and I usually do the rest. I also love picking up Co2 refills and when I need new tires I swing by or call ahead for Continental Mountain King Tires which is the brand I usually by. Feel free to take your bike here if your in the area or need a tune up. read more

Born and raised in Hialeah , have been coming here since I was a child to service my bikes, about 10 years ago I picked up the sport of mountain biking. Mountain biking requires constant repairs and is a extremely expensive sport, a lot of shops in town take advantage of folks with there pricing for servicing because they assume there customers are rich enough to take on the sport in the first place. Some shops charge 40 dollars to swap a handle bar, this is a function that requires 10 screws being removed. This being said, Leo and Hialeah Schwinn have the best pricing in town for service. You don't ever walk with he feeling your overpaying, actually the opposite, you feel obligated to tip because of the savings in comparison to other shops. Although humble in its setting, Hialeah Schwinns mechanical prowess is continually evolving to meet the ever-changing demands of its clients. With the growing popularity of mountain biking, and Amelia mtb trails being in spitting distance, Mountain biking has taken over, and with it has come continually changing engineering. Hialeah Schwinn has continued to adapt in a huge way, now carrying arguably the best bike on the market for its genre, BMC. I'm just an avid biker who had a bad experience at another shop in town and wanted to highlight some of the towns best bike shops which i feel people don't do often enough. Leo the owner worked with me, and gave me such of a great price that I have kept returning anytime I needed something for my bike. The tune-ups are not too expensive. The customer service is awesome. I just came from there and I will never go there again. No one was interested to help my needs. There was only one man who knew what he was talking about, but like I said he just wasn't interested. The selection of bikes were very limited, and when I asked to see a catalogue to perhaps see if I could special order one they never showed it to me. They just walked away disinterested to find a bike that would fit my needs. I don't understand how a company is still running after so many years with that kind of attitude. Not to mention their price in bikes were outrageous. My father bought bikes from them many years ago, so when he went with me he felt the exact same way as I did. I will take my business elsewhere.
