The tech definitely knew what he was doing. They gave me a quote, and a time it would be done when I dropped it off. Then they followed up with a phone call when it was ready to be picked up. Like I said, looked amazing and ready to go. Great price too. I could have easily been charged a couple hundred for the amazing work they did, but it was only a little over a hundred. This guy was awesome he fix my bike in less than 10 minutes got a new chain on their fix my flat put a new frame for my wheel and bend my foot bars the way they were supposed to be. Very affordable too I spent less than $40 on something that will cost me almost $100 at any other place and that included the lock that I got for my bike. I'm heading back this weekend because I need to buy a light so I can drive at night but everybody should come and definitely check it out get a bite great exercise leave less of a carbon footprint out there and this place treats you well.

I assumed that this selection of bikes would prompt an arrogance that you often see at many high end stores. But that wasn't my experience the other day. I was out for what turned out to be a 42 mile ride. But around the 18th mile I passed this store and stopped to check out the inlet a block away. Somehow during that little detour I ran over a nail and got an immediate flat. I realized that I was lucky to have a flat tire so close to a bike store considering I was out for a long ride without any repair tools or a pump. I was met with a positive attitude at Bike Science and they immediately took my bike in to fix the flat. 15 minutes later the bike was ready and they charged me what I thought was a reasonable amount.....not some highly inflated esoteric bike store price. So overall a great experience that definitely makes me want to go back to buy from this store in the future.

The repair price was extremely reasonable, in fact it was about half of their initial estimate. For comparison, I got stranded with a flat a few months ago around Hillsboro inlet, and the bike-shop on that corner charged me the same amount for sealant and air as I paid for the wheel repair at Mega Cycle.

I was just very disappointed to find out that one of technicians discarded all of the parts from my bike with out my consent, not everything was damaged and could of been used for decoration if I feel like it. After all I paid for that very expensive wheel. Demetri asked me if I wanted my parts, and wheel I said yes, but when he asked around it turned out it was discarded as trash and that was that. Right now I have mixed feelings about the shop for that reason this has always been my go to shop. And theses are not cheap bicycles or components to just trash like that.
