I had the hardest time trying to find a scooter repair shop. I called this one place which I won't mention. They would pick it up and deliver it which I thought was great but I had to pay upfront before they would pick them up. That was a red flag for me. I finally came across Hypertoyz. Had flat tire on scooter I was going to leave for repair. Was told if I had time to wait. Thelma fixed the two tires and had scooter ready in about 30 minutes while I waited. Job was professional. And she made it seem easy. However I could not have made the repair nor did I have the tools. I was very satisfied with Thelma work and with the reasonable price. So i took my hiboy scooter and my boyfriends his needed new brakes and mine needs a front tire. At first i asked about my boyfriends hiboymax3 i said howmuch would it be she said a price it was ok and she replaced the brake pads right away took her maybe 9min. I then asked her about my hiboy s2 pro it has original front solid tires which are warn out i said i wanted pneumatic tires and how much would it be she said i gotta wait for my partner because the tire changed is complicated and must be done between two people and you gotta leave it i said ok. I get a call saying the rim has no hole for the pneumatic tire and she had to install the solid it would be $90 i said ok thats way too much never mind ill go pick it up now i hung up, she called me right away and said well i gotta charge u because I already took off the old tire which i said but you knew i had concern about the price and i wanted pneumatic tires she literally said (you know WHAT EVER!!) And hung up on me) how is a person gonna get mad at the costumer for her own failure to visually check the rim before removing the tire and then not calling me to advice me regarding the price for me to accept or decline. For me thats a red flag. Oh and they damaged (scrashed) my rim it was on the exact place on both sides so im assuming it was some type of metal pry to remove the tire. Horrible read more

Scammer with fake reviews! Rick Marabini will try to delay refunding your money until it's too late to dispute with your credit card company. I ordered an expensive scooter and was sent a unit that was clearly used, did not match the website description, and it had cheap, loose handle bars. After Rick said I could return the scooter, he did not send me a return label until 9 days later, after I asked him a third time. After he received the scooter, he waited 7 more days to issue a partial refund for less than half the cost. Fully 12 days after he received the return, I called PayPal and they confirmed Rick never issued the second half refund. I had to go through a lengthy dispute process to get my money back. Had I waited a few more days to initiate the dispute, it would have been too late and this scam artist would have ripped me off to the tune of $2,000. Read the reviews on google maps and ask yourself if they sound legit. All the five star reviews are written by the same person who makes the same grammar mistakes. All the one star reviews are clearly written by different people. Don't be fooled by a nice website description--you're being sold junk, and you're not getting your money back unless you fight for it. read more

I would not even give him 1 star. Worst customer service in the world! Do NOT buy from this Rick. Anything goes wrong this guy would not warranty his scooters, he will try everyday to get out of it, even go off on my local service manager for not following up on his end, the guy have serious temper and would drag you threw the mud with his personal problems for months and never send you parts that are defective. Bought this scooter since April, this scooter start off with defective chargers, then speed controller goes out mid June, with all the waiting around till now Oct. I only rode this this not more then a month, and with him still saying "I'm not sure which part I should send, is the left one or the right one?"..I freakin lost it! read more

What can I say that can express my gratitude for Hypertoyz! I literally had my scooter taken apart when I was trying to replace a part myself. There were months I was trying to find a shop to take care of the job for me. Finally I was recommended to try Hypertoyz. I spoke with the technician and she was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. I dropped it off and about a week later she had totally fixed the scooter. She even refilled my tires. I should have done some research on this thief before. Now I found out reading many reviews from him that he sell cheaply build chinese scooter that are faulty or poorly build. I found these guys online a couple years ago. I had no experience with scooters. I was looking for the best price, they beat everything out there short of going directly to china yourself. I got a 2000w dual 48v kick scooter. It was a rocket and I thought it was great. I'm 220lbs . I live in nyc and I beat the crap out of it. It got a flat when I banged a curb straight on and I called the Guy Rick (Eric) M. for assistance . I couldnt find a tube that had exact specs. He sold me a coule for cheap. What a fing B** to change but I eventually got it and boom back on the road. Pow immediately another flat. After looking closely I had a burr in the rim that took out the new tube. Rick sent me another tube for like $6 or something. I filed the burr down. Got much better at swapping tires and got back on the road. A few of my buddies ordered the same scooter and NYC had a bunch of maniacs zipping around for the rest of that fall. I ordered another myself .Arrived all good. I read online a few cheats to supe the thing up even faster ( it didnt need it but I was addicted) and me and my nephew flew around like bats outta hell. The abuse did cause me to neeed parts on occasion and Rick sent them right out for less than I could find anywhere else. There were a couple times that wire colors for the controllers didnt match and I had to ask for help hooking the parts up. Rick was on it as much as could be expected and as I learned more about the scooters I learned how thescooters are priced. I couldve bought scooters for twice as much with perfectly color matching wire harnesses and send the scooters away to be repaired if I had wanted to but I'm mechannically inclined and 85% of the maintenece I'd rather do myself , save money and not be without a scooter for weeks. Plus we like to go balls out crazy on the scooters and not worrry about having to replace a part or two in exchange for impeding our fun. Im looking for another 3200w 60v scooter now and I shopped around yet again and Rick has the best price , still, and can ship right out. Boom Sold. These guys got" the best scooters for the price". If youre not looking for a little sissy put around with your phone app and pink helmet, trust these guys and you wont be disappointed.
