Terrible bike shop I sent two bikes there I was given a price and the cost was triple of what they quoted. They gave me the bike back and both were not fixed, it took three times and it still wasnt right. They tried to give me a bike back and didnt even lubricate the rear hub and their excuse was that they dont have a grease gun, after I complained they took it next door to the auto repair shop and they greased it, today about 3 weeks later i notice that my sons bike is making a noise and i discover that the rear nuts holding the back tire and rim on are finger loose. Just moved to Miami from the Northeast without a car and Willies set me up with everything I needed within an hour. The used bike selection is small but the staff compensates with their friendly completely unpretentious service and soft prices. The more extras I added on, e.g. bike rack, helmet, lock, the more prices for each item were cut down. I will definitely go back. Fabulous customer service, friendly environment, and great prices! I rented a bike for half a day to ride to South Beach with friends. The workers were friendly and helped me pick out the most comfortable bike for me and let me do a little test ride. Meanwhile, they tuned up my friends' bikes (they had their own) for free! The bike rental came with a helmet and a lock and everything was under $20 for the amount of time I rented. I will definitely go back to Willie's next time I want to rent a bike! read more

we are all experiencing hard times these days due to pandemic, but we had very unprofessional experience. called to make sure there are bikes available in our budget 30 min before closing on Sat and was told - yes of course. we arrived today, Monday, owner said he sold all the used bikes on Sat, and he has only one left in good condition, quoting : ALMOST ANTIC, which was a shitty sport bike. he was pushing about new bike - which obviously wasn't new, trying to give us a deal if we buy new bikes - started making comment about 1200$ we will receive from the city... complete waste of time, very disappointed. not recommending read more

Walked into the shop and was immediately helped. Knowledgeable and friendly they helped me select two bicycles and accessories in no time. One bicycle was loaded into my car right away after a thorough check and tuning, the second bike needed more accessories (tire change, toddler seat installation, pedal change,and cleaning) was ready for pick up in only a few hours. Not only is he an excellant resource but he is one of the most sincere, honest shop owners Ive ever met. I went to this man shop mutiple time , while and the rush , I gottten my tires flat , mutilple time this guy is very unprofessional and unpleasant, and noisy , never discuss ur personal life , he will think it's a friendship and not bussiness , he has drug addicts working at the shop opening when he not there to arrive on time , I given tips multiple time please check ur bike out before paying I had to bring my back , every time because he claims something else is wrong to flirt and hit on me , please don't let a women come along he will take advantage he barely have bussiness , because he noisy and sick to keep u the time u come if he has a crush on the customer that paying they hard earning money . Left my bike for a next day tune up cost was $60. V was really nice and patient in explaining all bike related questions I had. I bought a cool light that can alternate from red to white, and I noticed some bikes for sale for good prices. I will def be back. It was nice to get away from the coldness I've experienced at other bike shops. read more

"Miami's best bike mechanic", that's what I heard before I brought him my 1987 Bianchi for a complete tune-up. He even found a couple of Campagnolo screws I needed. There is not a new bike in the place. Lot's of solid used bikes perfect for street riding in Miami. But this is where you want to have your fancy road or mountain bike serviced. This is a pro-mechanic, not some part-time high school kid working on your bike. I don't think the shop even has a sign but it isn't hard to find on Biscayne next door to the Latin Cafe. Expect to find some guys, not all riders, hanging out drinking Cuban coffee. Very friendly vibe. Tires, tubes all the stuff you would expect and prices are less than any shop I know of in greater Miami. read more

Willie is AWESOME and his shop is amazing. I recently moved to Miami and went to Willie's shop to find a used bike. He showed me a bunch of options that looked great, but I most liked a nice hybrid that wasn't finished yet as he needed to weld the fork. A couple days later he called me when it was ready. This bike is a pristine Cannondale hybrid in excellent condition and I'm guessing about half the price it would be new. I've now ridden it all over Miami and I'm extremely happy with it. Willie also gave me a deal on a new lock since I was buying the bike. Two days after I bought it, I decided I wasn't so into the riser handlebars on the bike, so I brought it back and he quickly put on a new flat handlebar for me and fitted me for a new helmet. He also gave me tips on safe biking routes in Miami. As a pretty avid city cyclist, I've been to many bike shops over the years, but have rarely met anyone as nice and knowledgeable as Willie. Heard about this bike shop by chance; a friend of mine had some work done there after being fed up with the incompetence of the big bike shops in the city. This is the antithesis of every other mayor bike shop in Miami: small, not fancy, and does what its meant to do.... fix bikes. And that they do VERY well. I took in my Cannondale full suspension mountain bike to have a Lefty fork installed and tuned. The work was fantastic. I got to watch Willie working on my bike and showing me what he was doing. This guy was the mechanic for years for the US nationals team. He knows his craft. And what a gentleman. Appearances can be deceiving, if fixing/tuning your precious bike is what you want, then Willies Bicycles is your place. NO QUESTION. read more

I just spent $300 on brand new tires, wheels and tubes for my bike. I take the bike for a test ride and the back tire pops. When I return 5 minutes later I am charged for a new tube while the owner claims I must have hit something in the 5 minutes I tested the bike. He didn't even guarantee his work for five minutes. read more

I've been to a pretty sizable handful of bike shops in Miami, Ft Lauderdale, & even in SW Fl in Naples & Estero... And, without a doubt, Willie hands-down is the best tech you'll find, and he's got to be one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet inside a shop or anywhere else for that matter. His place is certainly no-frills and he works on rehabbing and maintaining work-horses, bike-polo rides, and the best pro gear out there... Everything across the board. OK, so you don't see a Cervelo hanging on the wall, but don't the honesty and lack of gloss fool you. Willie knows his stuff and can service anything you've got. Full carbon rims? He builds them custom, and is actually the only mechanic I've met in MIA that will glue full carbon tubulars rather than phoning-it-in w/ Tufo tape... Bottom-line, for me and a lot of people, often times bike-shops at every end of the spectrum can feel like an NYC meatpacking or west chelsea club where you some how snuck past the bouncer and by the responses you get, you clearly weren't invited, regardless of how fit, nice, or cool you or your bicycle are. With Willie, he's just a laid-back, friendly, yet incredibly professional, fair, honest, and knowledgable guy that will meet your bike service needs whatever they are.
