One surgery down and my range of motion was about 50% from right compared to the left. Dr. Seivert and Dr. Tim took so much time, and care with me. My range of motion alone had increased before even before getting injected with medicine. I told Dr. Seivert that I it was hard to use my arm, holding a glass of water or a dumbbell - hurt no matter what. It could be compared to someone who ran, getting crippled and being able to run again. But for me, it was closer to someone who was blinded being able to see again. To the point I was in bed and not able to do anything. I had excruciating, constant pain. I couldn't sleep, I couldn't do any of the normal things in life. This is not something I had ever experienced. I've always been active and in good health but with minor back and neck pains on and off. I knew about this place because I had several friends going here. I had met Dr. Seivert and he was a genuinely nice guy. My wife had to drive me here (keep in mind we live in Spicewood, TX, so a substantial drive). That's how bad I was. I won't lie and say I walked out pain-free. Possibly even the opposite, I may have been in more pain initially. But I can say I went to him twice a week for a couple weeks and then down to once a week, where I'm at now. Since then, I have had constant neck and back pain and have barely been able to feel my first three fingers on my right hand. I was in and out of a spine rehab for years, had multiple imaging, went to both orthopedic and pain specialists, and have barely been able to exercise. My pain had been so bad these past few months that I was trying to make appointments with a neurologist and returning back to the spine rehab center. I was referred to this office by my sports massage therapist. I was easily able to make my first appointment by phone with his office staff (who are all very lovely and patient!). At my appointment, Dr. Richard and I discussed my history, XR results (XR taken during the appointment in the clinic), and his plan of action. As a nurse of 10 years, I can easily determine if I am working with a decent physician, and in this case, I immediately knew that I was in great hands. Dr. Richard was very knowledgeable, straight-forward, and thoroughly explained everything that he wanted to adjust. He then made several adjustments, and just like that, I was completely pain free and could fully feel my right hand for the first time in 8 years. I cried all the way home and could not believe I had been living in so much pain. My quality of life has improved so much. I no longer have raging pain at the end of my 12 hour shifts and can lift weights and exercise again.
