Very disappointing. I remember the pottery of ages past full of surprises and bulk pottery, glassware, leather store and much, much, more. Today this is a long and very empty strip mall with one building open. In this one building is merchandise but there are more empty shelves than there are shelves with merchandise. I only saw one employee who was the cashier.

Very disappointed ;(. Haven't been down in about 7 years and expected changes.... Just not what I saw. The exterior is adorable & looks like little houses. Every building is closed except 1. As we wondered around building C, there was more empty shelves than merchandise. Was actually sad. I can remember as a kid coming here with my parents and going thru the different buildings..... taking the the tunnel to the other side finding deals throughout. The no frill buildings were the best...the buildings weren't pretty but housed some really good deals. This place was like a staple for the area & used to draw large crowds. Those are definitely memories of the past. The currently pottery is in a very sad state. There was only about 4 cars in the parking lot & I believe they belonged to the employees. It looks like it's hanging on... the merchandise that's in there isn't the best quality & is overpriced. It's definitely in a sad state and I don't foresee them being able to continue with what they have offered. Was looking forward to looking around and was sadly disappointed ;(

The front of the building looked so pretty and I was excited to see what was inside but what I saw was empty shelves and what they did have was either overpriced or just plain junk. I used to hear such amazing things about Williamsburg Pottery and how it was actually a destination that people would take bus trips from 100 miles away to visit. But don't waste your time. This place has nothing that anyone needs and if they do, you can surely find it cheaper on Amazon.

Large selections of home goods. From gardening, to fine dining ware, to bed room furnishings. Staff was helpful as we picked out a set of lamps that we couldn't find in their stock. We ended up with the floor sample, as their staff helped us packaged it properly. Pricing was fair considering it was a floor sample.

Oh Williamsburg pottery...you were my saving grace in June when it was hot and you had real good AC and it was my first time here. There was music and it was lively. Came back today and well let's just say I felt sad. I walked through all 3 buildings and came to the conclusion I can see why no one likes it here. The building is filled with empty shelves. Items are either expired food, poorly discounted, or dusty. No really there is layers of dust on it. Why is winter stuff 65% off but summer 50% off clearance? I mean shouldn't summer be in the reverse or 80% off. I walked in one building and the employee, I kid you not shuffled 5 steps and stared off at the wall. I froze watching her ... she was staring then waddled off 10 more steps and acted like she was folding a garden flag. I could not make this up! There was one really engaged staff in customer service that was happy and the rest well looked like they were there when the old pottery was built and still haven't gotten over it from the 80s. Now don't get me wrong there are a few nice things in there, but man is it empty in there. The problem is there is so much wide space in there mixed between empty shelving it looks like they're closing. They need to consolidate their gear into two buildings, open up a program/class space, and in the third building use it for event rentals/classes. Update the music in there and do more program planning. In the third building put in a cafe and pottery merch with cups and shirts. Finally, put in an indoor play structure for families. The event space can be rented out. Well if you ever wanted to see a space even more trivial than Ollie's basement warehouse here you go. Sorry pottery, time to step up your game.

If your looking for pottery for your plants this is your place to go they have sizes from 1" to 36" you may get some bigger. They dont just carry pottery you can get anything from kitchen wear, lamps, rugs, food, wine, and much more. Stop in see for your self.

Remember back in the day you had to do the family trip to the pottery? You were made to go because your parents didn't want you to be home by yourself. Or the church women group that hosted that bus trip to the pottery??? Well that's how it felt going back! It's new buildings, new stuff, better choices but goodness gracious it's still long and big like how I remembered it when I was little! I swear I kept seeing the same items in the next row. It had me thinking I was going in circles. The stores are real spacious and I think they just put the same items out to fill the space. It was pretty empty for a Saturday afternoon. I mean very empty. I guess everyone is at the outlet. The prices were still reasonable and still have stuff you will not have ANY use for! I'll list a few things: -Linens -Frames -Baskets -Mirrors -Wine -Cheap China products (back scratchers, fans, etc) -Pillows -Tupperware -Glassware -Towels -Soaps -Pots and Pans -Spices -Bedsheets Good luck!

The pottery has went downhill a lot since they tore it down and rebuilt. I really miss the 90s pottery. When I visited this last time half the pottery wasn't even open. The part that was open had a lot of stuff that had been marked up ridiculously high. There was also a lot of empty shelf space. It's a really nice building but it seems to be going to waste unfortunately.

New location and vision is not better. The original had character, charm, and great memories.

Not what it needs to be. Value is limited and inconsistent. I have visited numerous times over the last three decades.

Have to start by saying there are big changes going on so it's current state is not perfect but it's still great.

We picked 2 items and went to register - by the way there was no line as the store was empty. Cashier looks at the gift box of chocolate and other Christmas item, and states she needs the manager to approve. Manager then comes over to yell at us about customer reclamation project where he accuses every customer of moving merchandise to sales table. I'm sure everyone woke up the morning after Christmas to rush to Homegoods to move merchandise. We asked for them to call District Manager, at which point he again lectures us, but refuses to walk 25 feet to look at the sales table. In my opinion, the way he treated us is because of our race. Maybe it would be in the customers best interest to actually put clearance stickers on the clearance merchandise instead of blaming customers for them not doing their job. Incidentally, don't fall for their credit card - 34.99% interest rate is highway robbery, plus they offer no promotional financing for large purchases.

This Homegoods is NOT at all like my Homegoods... meaning it's not as crowded with merchandise (but…read morestill well-stocked), it's not as crowded with people, and things don't (necessarily) go in the blink of an eye. I was in town on an early Friday night, and the store was EMPTY. Friday late afternoon and early evening in my store is swamped because people want to see what's new. By the end of the day Saturday, whatever you wanted Friday and didn't get is gone! I saw a cabinet on Friday that I made myself a deal with -- if I came back after work Saturday afternoon and it was still there, I'd get it. Well, it was. So I did. Yay! There was second piece that I was eyeballing... it was waiting for a customer to pick up when I got back Saturday!
