I absolutely LOVE this place! They have stopped my never-ending pinched nerves and got me back in the gym and running comfortably again! They are extremely knowledgeable, properly exam you, and do personalized treatment plans. So many chiropractors these days become a factory line - where they do the same exact adjustments on every single person and most do not do full exams and x-rays/scans. Some of those adjustments could be making the problems worse and would be unaware of it. Williamsburg Chiro should be the definition of proper chiropractic care. I've been having pain in my right hip for the past two years and lately I started having lower back pain as well. I'm very active. I exercise and dance regularly. The pain forced me to let go of about 50% of all my lower body exercises. I also followed what my orthopedic surgeon told me to do but nothing helped. I finally found Dr. Hoffman and within just 2 treatments I saw improvements. After 6 treatments my hip pain is gone and I'm back to doing my full weight lifting routine including all the exercises I couldn't do before. His treatments are very gentle and never uncomfortable. If I could give them 10 stars I would. 1. Most importantly, They changed my back and neck and that's A LOT of changing. - A little back story of my spine injuries. I'm 39 and have had bad back problems for the last 7 years. I have bulged and herniated disc all throughout my neck, back, along with a old fractured spine & collarbone, and 2 big toes that would barely moved. I've seen many doctors/specialists/chiropractors. I've had steroid injections, radio frequency, and nerves cauterized. I can say with all honesty that these 2 have made the biggest difference in my back. 2. Bedside manner is so welcoming and sincere. You can tell that both Dr Hoffman & Dr Tom are passionate about helping you and truly care about your health and general well being. 3. They're never pressure you, but give you advise on what would be best. 4. They saw me all through the pandemic based on my back and neck emergency and I felt completely safe the entire time. 5. The front desk staff are always very kind, attentive, clean, and helpful. 6. They're always very flexible with your schedule and my wait time in the office has never been more than 5 minutes. I've been with doctor Hoffman's office for over 3 years now, initially I could barely stand and walk, or pick anything up, I have a back injury that has herniated discs and opted to not get surgery, while I didn't just do chiropractic and was encouraged by doctor hoffman to get into physical therapy and work work work my butt off and stay on top of my appts. I want to say I've drastically improved. He was realistic and I've been realistic that I'll never be 100 percent just based on the injury, however he's gotten me to a level where I can workout daily I may not be able to deadlift 200+ LBs but I can deadlift and do other functional exercises. He's been great to me and a great person who's helped me out ALOT. It does take a WHILE for things to adjust and work but I don't regret coming to this office and sticking it out. It started out good but after three [3] weeks, I was totally disappointed. Pros: Dr. Hoffman is welcoming and speaks very nicely. He seems genuinely concerned about people. The office is not state of the art but is is clean and the staff is nice. The area is not good for parking cars but the office is easy to find. Cons: A red flag was when I received a bill for future co-pays and many things that are covered in my plan. At first I thought they were being pro-active but then they gave a payment plan for cost that are not necessary. I know that the condition of patients vary and it takes time to resolve issues but I felt like Dr. Hoffman was doing the least in each visit and I still walked away with pain and discomfort. I felt like they were stretching out each visit and doing the least possible. In other words, they are milking plans to get more while providing almost no services at all. This is not the time nor season to be trying to get all you can while pretending you are doing all you can for the patient. The response that it is not like you see on Youtube was insulting and offensive. At least on Youtube, those people are getting maximum results for their money and/or plan. I reached out to my primary care physician and they connected me to chiropractor. When I explained my experience at Williamsburg Chiropractic, they said the same thing about providing the least services possible. The service is not bad - just minimal! They do not try to provide all the services possible for the patient in each visit. Not going back! read more

I started going to Williamsburg Chiropractic after my last chiropractor suggested the only thing I needed to do to solve my chronic back pain was get orthotics and stretch. That didn't seem right to me so I went and got a second opinion. Dr. Hoffman sat me down, explained why the last office was pushing orthotics, what they didn't do that they should have, and explained a full treatment plan. That started with X-Rays, a description of how my lifestyle including work and golf contributed to the compression in my spine that the other office failed to notice, and how we will slowly begin to correct this over time. And, he explained what it will cost and how much insurance will cover. Dr. Hoffman and Dr Thomas have been my chiropractors for the past 3 months and I couldn't be happier. I was about 27 weeks pregnant and having horrible siatic nerve pains and lower back pains that would have me in tears when I first visited Dr. Hoffman, at the suggestion of my fiance who had been going to him since June. He went because he threw his back out and was unable to move for days when finally he found this office and based on reviews went in. His back definitely improved and he suggested that I go in since my pains of pregnancy were taking a toll on me and I refused because I am not a fan of chiropractic services. Oh boy was I wrong! I went in reluctantly after my leg gave out while crossing a street due to my siatic pain and my fiance made an appointment for me. First walking in Cindy greeted me like she had known me for years because of how my fiance talks about me and I immediately calmed down and relaxed. Upon meeting Dr. Hoffman I was even more calm. He is so sincere and caring. He showed me how his bed adjusted for my pregnant belly and assured me this was perfectly safe for our unborn child. He scanned me and talked briefly and he asked to give me one adjustment and I can make a decision from there. After the adjustment and speaking with Cindy I knew that I was hooked. I'm actually from california i was referred to this office by my attorney i was recently in a really bad accident and have an open case so my body is really messed up right now. The staff are angels very polite and friendly and i don't remember the gentleman's name who was the first to check out what exactly was wrong with me and what needed to be worked on was very kind. I was later informed that Jared Hoffman had a misunderstanding with my attorney about insurance coverage he was disgustingly rude about it didn't make me feel welcome he raised his voice at me really child like before i even knew what was actually happening his true colors showed in that moment of interaction. I plan on moving forward with another chiropractor with a lighter spirit and a kind soul. For those that don't like to read, here's a short review:: Dr. Hoffman and his staff are amazing and because of them I've been able to get my physical health back on track. Wordier review: I came into the practice in late September 2013 and was not able to walk or stand on my own. I had been basically bedridden for a month before I went to the ER - who made things worse before I found Williamsburg Chiropractic. I had sciatic pain - which shot down from my lower back down to my toes. Not only was I immobile, I could barely sleep at night because the pain was so intense. After my FIRST visit with Dr. H, I was able to get a good night's rest. After my first week of visits, I was able to get around more freely. After my first month, I felt normal again. I have committed to six months of adjustments and check ups because I believe that coming to WC has really improved my life. I'm almost four months into my treatment and can't be happier. Despite not having insurance, the practice helped me work out a financial package that makes it easy for me to come in. It is worth every penny - for all you skeptics out there without insurance. Dr. H is warm and friendly. He doesn't only want to help you back to where you were before the pain, he wants you to get you to an even better physical place. Cindy and Elvira are amazing ladies who crack me up every time I come in. I feel like we're friends and our meet ups just happen to be at a medical office. I mean, they quote Mean Girls to me, come on. Dr. Jared has a terrific knowledge of modern medicine as well as holistic healing approach, I have learned a lot during my visits, how to take care of my body and enjoy optimal health. The girls are always understanding and flexible with scheduling to suit patients' craziest schedule (shotout to Cindy and Elwira for keepin' it real :) Be aware if you are planning your first visit, try to come with some time on your hands in case it gets busy. I'm extremely surprised that EVERY review isn't 5 stars. Dr. Hoffman and his whole team have been nothing short of amazing. Quick story on me to prove why I believe this to be true; I'm 23 years old and I had an L5-S1 Fusion in 2012. I had a fracture in my back that I still don't know how it occurred and I also have degenerative disc disease. When i was 17 an Orthopedic Surgeon told me "you're a 17 year old with the back of a 33 year old". I went to another Orthopedic Surgeon a few years later who found the fracture and recommended surgery since he believed physical therapy alone would not help my pain. The surgery helped me, I cannot lie about that. Before surgery I was not able to walk more than 10 minutes without being in extreme pain. After the surgery I was able to walk longer distances without feeling pain or my back tightening even though it did (went from 10 minutes to basically 30 minutes). 20 minutes doesn't sound like a a lotbut when we're talking pain minutes, it's a huge difference. Besides the boost it gave (best way to describe) I was still in pain however. I would still wake up with pain and my back felt weak but just better than I did pre-surgery. I had sincerely accepted that I would live in pain for the rest of my life. A friend recommended me Dr. Hoffman because she had felt a significant difference in her pain level after working with him. Off the strength of her recommendation I decided to visit Dr. Hoffman. Before my experience specifically with Dr. Hoffman, I would like to add that the staff is just great. The best customer service I would add. The customer experience they provide is the epitome of excellence. They are friendly, kind, funny and beyond welcoming. Now, to Dr. Hoffman; he is a great doctor; that simple. He listens, he's patient, and he explains the process clearly. My brother had tried to talk me out of seeing Dr. Hoffman because his experience with a prior chiropractor was awful. That chiropractor never even did an xray on my brother and he would try to do adjustments on him or massages. How do you treat someone in which you do not know their issue? Dr. Hoffman exams you, tells you what looks wrong and how he can help. Since working with Dr. Hoffman or being a patient, I no longer wake up with pain. The only time I'm ever in pain or feel pain is when I've been driving a long time and I start to slouch in the car or have bad posture. I went from someone who accepted pain for the rest of his life (again I'm still only 23 years old) to someone who will soon get back to playing football and sports like I once did when I was a teenager. Dr. H is amazing! After my second episode of vertigo I found the office on YELP and called in a panic. Cindy calmed me down and was able to fit me in that day. I got stuck in traffic and they waited for me since I was their last patient! First visit consisted of x-rays and a nerve test. Dr H adjusted me and I literally felt better the next day.
