The Rosery worked with hydrangea, peonies, iris's, mimosa, curly willow and lots of forsythia. They coordinated all the arrangements ordered by friends to match what I had on order. It was beautiful. We recently placed an order for multiple tabletop arrangements. They were very nice looking and…read morematched our color scheme, but somehow our specific requests for flowers to include and plants to exclude were ignored. The resulting arrangements were also expensive for what we received, as the price was arrived at using our requested materials. In short, event attendees were happy with the arrangements, but the event coordinators were not. This is a new store for Felthousen's, and it is possible that what we experienced was due to problems coordinating across locations. The people we dealt with were friendly and helpful.

I got my mom a Firewood candle and a yoga crystal keychain for her birthday, and the shopkeeper was generous enough to wrap the gift in an adorable custom bag. The woman who was working was also very knowledgeable about the different crystals, and helped me select the perfect one for the gift. I will definitely be coming back here next time I am in town! I can't wait to try the sauerkrauts next time!

They have a stall at the Empire State Farmers Market and a shop on Albany Shaker Rd. They also have a CSA for flower bouquets. I stayed at room #3 with two double beds, and there was a 32" TV and good size refrigerator. Free WiFi. Bright enough and very clean. Plenty towels, I'm not a fan of scented detergent but they were soft and comfy. I spoke with the owner? when I checked in about pathways to go to Hunter Mt. for next morning. Later that night the snow started, and he knocked on my door to suggest me to take another way to avoid hills for my safety. What a wonderful and respectful attentiveness for their guests!! Hard to find such a lodge these days. I highly recommend this place. They have a nice cat in the lobby area too.

The walls are thin, so we can hear the cars going by on the road, and the wind was strong and you can hear the building squeaking at night... You could hear the neighbors mumbling, couldn't make out the words (though we didn't really try either...) Breakfast is included, it is "light continental" meaning there are pastries (coffee cake, muffin), coffee, hot water and tea bags, and yogurt available in the little dining/kitchen area. Check in/out: It was super easy. We drove up and she looked up our reservation and then gave us the keys. Check out is at 11 AM and you just leave the keys on the dresser.

She had a sit-down consultation with us to discuss my likes and dislikes, and even had several inspo books, which was super helpful, since I really didn't know what I was looking for. I told her I wanted something small and simple, that looked like I'd pulled up weeds on the side of the road (but pretty).
