The flowers that were put together were divine and I really appreciated the personal attention to detail, the artistry and the willingness to put so much time and attention into my order, when the owner was clearly working on a much larger and grander work of floral art. The card selection is both excellent and unique, which yes, I also needed!

I got my mom a Firewood candle and a yoga crystal keychain for her birthday, and the shopkeeper was generous enough to wrap the gift in an adorable custom bag. The woman who was working was also very knowledgeable about the different crystals, and helped me select the perfect one for the gift. I will definitely be coming back here next time I am in town! I can't wait to try the sauerkrauts next time!

Hazel was so easy to work with I felt like I was living in a dream... or was it, a dream within a dream? ANYWAY, I felt like without giving an extravagant description Hazel knew exactly what I wanted for my wedding (before I even knew) and somehow gave it to me. The flowers were beautiful, she took care of everything, and I honestly haven't any words for how perfect and wonderful everything turned out. But really, planning a wedding is stressful enough, take a weight off your shoulders and hire someone who knows what they're doing, and does it well.

There are not enough words to describe the incredible experience of working with Kim at Rosery…read moreFlowers. From the moment we first spoke with her it was like chatting it up with a close friend. Kim didn't just want to know what we wanted for florals at our wedding - she wanted to get to know us, what we were hoping to achieve with our overall wedding vibe, and learn what type of people we are so that she can go ahead and make personalized, custom magic beyond our wildest dreams. Once we saw Kim's work and got to know her very quickly, we trusted her to take our general vision and run with it - and that was the BEST decision we could have made, because boy did she BLOW OUR FREAKING MINDS! Seriously, the best advice I can offer is to LET HER DO HER THING! No matter what you have in mind or saved on your pinterest boards, she will out-magic it a hundred times over! We received so many compliments on our florals during our wedding weekend, and were truly blown away by the INSANE floral installation Kim created on the pavilion wall at our venue (Gather Greene in Coxsackie, NY) - I've been lurking all the different floral installations on the wall at our venue for more than a year, and ours was hands down the best, fullest, and just screamed, "Fall, but make it elegant and whimsical." Kim, we cannot thank you enough for everything - you helped us create a wedding beyond our wildest dreams, and for that we are eternally grateful!

She understood I did not want the typical FTD looking funeral arrangements. What I wanted was for my moms flowers to feel natural and garden like. The Rosery worked with hydrangea, peonies, iris's, mimosa, curly willow and lots of forsythia. They coordinated all the arrangements ordered by friends to match what I had on order. It was beautiful. Mom looked like she was asleep in a garden. Both friends and family were amazed. I thank the Rosery for working outside the box and creating such beauty for my moms final moment. Thank you, Andrew Sedlock

My mom is my source of all things gardening, and she told me to go to Story's. I looked up the website (which is great) to see what they had in stock. Under "fruiting plants" in nursery stock, I found what was basically a comprehensive list of all the fruit I could think of...so we just decided to head over and take our chances. When we arrived and walked around a bit, I realized that they actually HAVE pretty much everything on that comprehensive list, because this place is massive and awesome. I don't think I can possibly list all the things they've got, but I feel pretty confident saying that their selection is better than anything you might find in the surrounding area: Trees, shrubs, evergreens, bushes, perennials, herbs, succulents, conifers, flowers, vegetables, vines...you want plants, they've got the plants. They've also got all the garden supplies you need...plant food, fertilizer, seeds, pesticides, tools, a gorgeous selection of pots, and hooks, and garden gnomes, and more. I didn't know I needed netting to keep the birds from eating my blueberries, but they did, and they've got the netting you need. I should note that my mom frowns on netting your berries, as she believes we need to share with the birds...but she's just a much better person than I am.
