    Meatloaf Wednesday SpecialWednesday
    Christopher M.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]This is a small locally owned place that reminds me of the diners and bakeries from hallmark movies.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Very lovingly decorated and the bakery case is right in the entrance.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Self served refill station for tea and water. The meatloaf was delicious and the sides I picked were salad and beans. Both delicious and home made flavors. I'm sad I didn't order dessert but it's okay I'm going back.

What an amazing dinner. Sat at the bar had HH oysters raw and chargrilled. Followed up with a small Ceasar and mussels. WOW great service and top notch food. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Great location and view/ambiance.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Highly recommend.

I visited this restaurant around half an hour before closing. I was also waiting for my friend to come join me. I was told by the lady at the counter to order and take it to go. I understand they need to go home on a Saturday. I decided to just order some baked goodies to go. I am very picky about pastries specially homemade ones. Yes it looks like they bake everything on site but why the need to use essences? I got a pound cake which is super moist baked to perfection! And then you bite into it you get the strong strong taste of fake almond essence! I realized this is one bakery that make things from scratch and actually is good! But why ruin it with the essence? That really disappointed me! If you are ok with this type of flavor profiles then the bakery is for you! It is fresh too! Sorry this wasn't really for me!

Tried this place for breakfast when we were in town and came back almost everyday during our stay! When you dine or pick up you're treated like family and can taste all the love in their food.

Man... Williams Confectionery Crafts done messed around and cooked me a plate straight outta my grandma's kitchen. I sat down thinking I was just gonna eat, but when that mac & cheese hit my fork? I almost called my mama to apologize for all the times I said her food was "just okay." The green beans tasted like they been simmering since Moses parted the Red Sea, squash and onions so tender they slid into my spirit, and that roll? Soft enough to wipe away your sins. And don't get me started on the fried chicken tenders--crispy like they just whispered "HalleluYah" when they came out the grease. This place ain't just serving food, it's serving therapy with a side of fries. If you leave here hungry, that's on you.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Feels like my Mamie's home! You walk in and immediately hear lovely worship music on in the kitchen, and smell the scents of home cookin![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Everyone is so nice and made us feel welcome. [[HIGHLIGHT]]What a wonderful last minute find. Great food, cute coffee bar and wonderful artwork to look at.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Highly recommend, and will return.

Found on Yelp cause I wanted pancakes [[HIGHLIGHT]]There are so many appealing desserts available for grab n go & it just feels like you walked into grandmas house with the decor and art.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] It was our first time so we ordered a variety of food. I also loved the self serve coffee station. Seems like a staple in the community with as many years they've been open. Definitely recommend

[[HIGHLIGHT]]The atmosphere is so cozy and makes you feel like you're at home.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The staff is very friendly and makes everyone feel welcomed. The food is delicious. One of my favorite dishes is the Chicken & Dumplings, served only on Tuesday. It is so comforting. The Breakfast Special is great - eggs, bacon or sausage, grits and toast. You can substitute the total for the large biscuit for an additional charge. It's worth it. The Loaded Biscuit is great, as well as the BBQ chicken and catfish, both served only on Friday. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The Cafe is small in size but serves comforting and delicious food.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Also, the dessert options at the bakery are plentiful and delicious. There are assorted cakes, cookies, pies, cobblers and brownies. Stop by and enjoy!

I saw Williams on Yelp while looking for some sweet treats. I stoped by and ordered a few treats, but left with a smile too; for free! The team were so friendly and made sure to make everyone feel welcome. Inside I learned that Williams is also a diner with a lot of seating. The food served here is just as good as the bakery items! Its so good that i went two days in a row! I ordered the same thing, but tried three other dished as well. I would love to go back and get a slice of pecan pie!

The Brunch Spot had been on my bookmarked breakfast places to try. As luck would have it, we were in the area, and just happened to be hungry. It was a Monday morning, around 10ish, and this place was poppin'! Lol, like do people not have jobs?! But I digress...back to the review. We were greeted by Jocelyn, who also ended up being our server as well. She was AMAZING! We perused the menu and everything sounded delicious. I decided on the Waffle Plate, because a Belgian waffle sounded really good. My better half ordered the French Toast Plate. The food came out pretty quick. However, my order was missing the waffle, which I mentioned. Apparently, there was a misunderstanding in what I ordered. Jocelyn took care of it immediately, and apologized and assured me that she would bring out the waffle at no charge. That's great customer service! It ended up being a happy accident though, because I loved what I received. I guess it was a sausage platter, which had my favorite type of link sausage. So, it's definitely going to be my go-to order every time! We are definitely coming back, on a regular basis. The French Toast Plate was also very good. As was the Kool-Aid, and the Caramel Iced Coffee. If there is ever Kool-Aid on a menu, I'm always going to order it! And this Kool-Aid did not miss. It was diabebes sweet, just the way I like it! Overall, it's a really cool place, and my favorite breakfast/brunch spot now. It's nice and tidy inside, and the staff is welcoming and friendly. Lol, my only gripe was the parking. But, I would gladly park somewhere else and walk here, because it's definitely worth it.

We ordered the poblano chilaquiles with the volcano chicken and the bacon and pineapple fried rice with crispy chicken katsu.Fir the chilaquiles the plating was good but can be improved upon the cilantro was cut into very uneven pieces with large pieces of the stem included, whilst there was a random 5 pieces of grapes in the corner of the plate. Also for this dish the poblano sauce did not taste super fresh and like the tomatillos were from a can, the volcano chicken was good and seasoned well but the only complaint is that they did not go well with the dish. For both the dishes the portion sizes are huge and easily would leave you with leftovers, if you choose to.The fried rice itself was under seasoned and could've used a bit more soy sauce or salt whilst cooking, the overall plating of the dish was not that presentable as it was topped with, more uneven cut green onion with the addition of the dish having a pool of oil in the bottom of the bowl.I also observed that the manager was walking around and asking tables about there experience but he did have a airpod in whilst working which gives me the idea of the type of workplace and environment it is behind the scenes.

The building is easy to find, situated next to Randolph Dental and across the street from Take 5 Oil Change. Parking is straightforward. The restaurant shares an outdoor lot with several neighboring businesses, and there was plenty of parking directly in front, including clearly marked handicapped spaces, plus an additional row across from the restaurant. Inside, the space is open, comfortable, and very clean. The interior seating is well maintained, and staff were consistently attentive to keeping the dining area tidy throughout the visit. The setup feels relaxed and inviting, and it is also nice to see that outdoor seating is available if you prefer fresh air. The food was excellent. I ordered the veggie omelette with added avocado and turkey, which was savory and well balanced. The hash browns were well seasoned with a good pepper profile, and the white chocolate latte stood out in particular. It did not have the artificial syrup aftertaste that is common at many places, which made it especially enjoyable. Service is what truly made the visit stand out. Jacqueline was friendly, attentive, and helpful from start to finish. She checked in at the right moments, answered questions without rushing, and kept everything running smoothly. As a thoughtful bonus, I was also given an extra pastry, which was a pleasant surprise and a great example of genuine hospitality. If you are looking for a casual breakfast or coffee spot with a clean environment, quality food, and staff who clearly care about the customer experience, Biscuit House is well worth a visit. Keep up the great work, Jacqueline and Biscuit House Schertz.

It's bright, welcoming, and has such a great atmosphere whether you're meeting up with friends, hosting a Bible study, getting some work done, or enjoying a slow brunch. The staff has always been kind and welcoming, which makes the experience even better. As for the coffee, I'd personally rate it around a 7/10. They have fun signature drinks that are worth trying, but I've had coffee elsewhere that I prefer. Everyone's taste is different, though, and that's just my personal opinion. The food is good, but I do find it a bit pricey for the portion sizes. Because of that, I don't usually order food when I visit. That said, their pastries are fantastic! The banana bread is easily one of my favorites and is a solid 9/10. Even though I think it's on the expensive side, I still find myself going often because it's close to home and the atmosphere is so enjoyable. Sometimes you're paying for the overall experience, and Coffee Crush definitely delivers on that. Overall, I'd give Coffee Crush an 8/10. If you haven't been yet, I'd absolutely recommend checking it out and deciding for yourself. Between the gorgeous space, friendly staff, and creative signature drinks, it's definitely worth adding to your coffee shop bucket list.
