Loaf has a varied selection of sourdough based items including English muffins, focaccia, cookies, rosemary ciabatta, and plain sourdough loaf. The store also has an espresso bar with craft coffee and matcha items. The English muffins are my go to for homemade grab and go egg and cheese sandwiches. The focaccia is perfect with pasta night. Hours are limited I think she closes around 3pm. It's great to be able to buy stuff outside of farmers market hours. Drive over and support local!

The menu had familiar American-style desserts like cheesecake and cinnamon rolls, but what really stood out were the Moroccan, Middle Eastern, and North African-inspired options. I ordered the Msemmen, which is a flatbread/Moroccan pancake that can be served sweet or savory. Based on the employee's recommendation, I tried it with cream cheese and honey, along with a small cappuccino. Next time, I definitely want to try the Nutella or Biscoff spread topping. The service was warm and thoughtful. There was a small issue with the cash register, but the employee kindly told me to sit down, get comfortable, and enjoy my meal first, saying I could pay afterward. The food itself was incredible, and I appreciated the little extra touches, like being given wipes for my hands since the honey made the dish a bit sticky. They only had plastic utensils, but everything still felt carefully prepared and served with genuine care. With tax and tip, my coffee and dessert came out to around $14, which felt very reasonable for the quality and experience. I'm excited to come back and try more. I really appreciate that San Antonio has a Moroccan-influenced bakery like this--we need more diverse cuisine options in Central Texas, and I hope this business continues to flourish. The matcha had a rich, earthy flavor, and the light sea salt cream on top added the perfect touch without making it overly sweet. It was smooth, refreshing, and one of the better matcha drinks I've had. I also picked up a few pastries, and everything tasted fresh and flaky. The café was clean, the staff was friendly, and despite being busy, the service was quick. If you're a matcha lover, I'd definitely recommend trying the Sea Salt Matcha along with one (or a few!) of their pastries. I'll definitely be back to try more from their bakery.

It totaled $10, pretty typical for gluten free (more expensive side). I had the scone that day, it has slight crunch on the outside and fluffy on the inside and wasn't too sweet. It was huge and I greatly enjoyed it and isn't something I could replicate on my own. The cookie I was hesitant to get at first because I can make my own cookies but this was unique and the other items didn't pique my interest as much. I had this the next day and split it with my family. Warmed it up and definitely better warmed up - gooey on the inside, cooked well on the outside, nice combo of flavors although the sweet definitely overpowered any saltiness. Family liked it!
