I refer to the experience/procedure as a 100% fail. I'm not blind but I really do not like having to wear glasses and now I have to wear 2. A particularly annoying outcome of the Lasik surgery is that I used to be a pretty good clay pigeon shooter and now I'm below average at best. This was 100% caused by the eye surgery as the Dr. purposely made each eye different from the other. One eye was for short distances and the other for long distances. In nature both eyes are very similar and when shooting the shooter sees one target. With the Lasik I now see 2 targets. It totally screwed up my shooting.

Even when I moved out of state I tried to find a way to schedule check ups when I was back in town. I'm in a crunch right now and am without glasses and tried to get some accommodation from their staff. I got stone walled trying to get my own medical information. Unfortunately, my experience with the billing office has been the exact opposite. On March 5, 2026--more than a year after my October and December 2024 surgeries--I received a voicemail saying, "I think we have an old address. We tried to send you a bill and the PO returned it." I returned the call immediately, provided my current address, and asked for an account statement showing exactly what I owed and why. Instead, I received a confusing printout that did not answer my questions. I never received a proper bill at my updated address. When I later called to follow up, the first employee told me only that my account was "closed" and that I would have to pay to have it reopened. He could not explain what that meant or answer basic questions, so he transferred me to the office manager. After a lengthy hold, Stacey repeatedly interrupted me as I tried to explain the situation, became increasingly hostile, raised her voice, and ultimately hung up on me. The only useful information I received was that the account had already been turned over to collections. What is so frustrating is that I was trying to get clarify and pay the bill. As soon as I learned there was an outstanding balance, I called back, updated my address, and asked for documentation explaining the charges. Rather than receiving a clear bill and an opportunity to resolve the matter, I learned only weeks later that it had been sent to collections. I paid it today and will never return, nor will my partner.

I will say they are life altering in terms of relief. However, after having more than 7 plugs put in and charges in excess of $75 for each visit, I questioned the process. Dr F told me it's like "trying on shoes and trying to find the right size." Well, I have never had to try on numerous sizes of shoes. Additionally, I have many friends who have had plugs put in and have never had them fall out even once, let alone several times. I was then told that he has never experienced this in 30 years of practice. I find this hard to believe and then got yet another bill for $95!! Needless to say I won't be returning.

IWhile in the hospital I spoke to two different PA's to change the date. I reached Dr Gallousis after hours the night before his cataract procedure to say I was canceling. He blamed everyone in this "new clinic" for not calling me back to reschedule and promised to refund my custom lens deposit. I am still waiting for the refund. I intend to get back the $700 for my wasted on the 1st and 2nd pre-op appointments and report him to Medicare.

The contacts she was given were unwearable, and when she called to say they didn't work at all they said she must be mistaken or have given the doctor incorrect information.
