I had the misfortune of encountering this individual on two seperate occasions. In my first encounter I informed him I had medicare, He examined me then said for an additional $3000 he would use a special leaser which he himself patented and I would no longer need glasses. I informed him that because of the shape of my face I wanted to continue wearing glasses. He replied it's your decision. On my second encounter he again kept me waiting over two hours. This time he totally changed his story, stating that because of the condition of my eye, my only option would be to use his $3000 laser to correct my cataract. I became suspicious andI informed him I be would seek a second opinion. His response was that it would be risky and any doctor that would perform the procedure I should be skeptical of. After my 2nd consultation Dr Rosenthal had the gall to contact me via again and tried to use his high pressure tactics to peddle his $3000 plus advanced package in spite of the fact that I told him I was not interested. Recently I had the procedure done and with 100% success when I initially informed the doctor of what DR. I will say they are life altering in terms of relief. However, after having more than 7 plugs put in and charges in excess of $75 for each visit, I questioned the process. Dr F told me it's like "trying on shoes and trying to find the right size." Well, I have never had to try on numerous sizes of shoes. Additionally, I have many friends who have had plugs put in and have never had them fall out even once, let alone several times. I had surgery with Dr, Levin on Sept 9th 2024. Prior to the surgery I had a consult where I…read morementioned I had dry eyes from Lasik and was concerned If this surgery would make it worse. Dr Levin told me this surgery would not worsen my dry eye as it is not a common side effect of a lower bleph. She did not examine the insides of eyes at all. I had another visit right before the surgery and mentioned the dry eye again she told me It would not worsen from the surgery. The morning of the surgery I said to Dr, Levin please be careful of my glands... Dr Levin replied and what glands? this should have been a red flag for me. Since the surgery, my dry eye is so severe that I am now homebound leave the house and cannot take care of my kids. My glands have completely shut down. I also don't make many tears so I absolutely nothing coating my eyes when I blink. Every blink feels like sand paper and glue. I feel a constant rubbing in my right eye when I blink. I'm told it's scar tissue. I have had 10 IPL's, punctal cautery surgery four times and probing. I've spent over 15k on treatments since this surgery to improve the dry eye. I sleep with plastic wrap over my face and an eye mask. My eyes still dry out and need drops all through the night. I have tried every eye drop available, but nothing has worked. My doctors tell me this is a result of the surgery and it's very common. Dr Levin said none of this is from her surgery and she is not a dry eye doctor. I have been left to figure this out myself. This surgery has destroyed my life. My under eyes look awful as well like nothing was done or worse. I have to wear moisture chamber glasses 24/7. Every doctor that seems me can't believe I had a lower blepharoplasty because of how awful it looks. I am writing this to warn others and hopefully prevent someone else from suffering the way I have. Please don't ever have this surgery If you have dry eyes and or go to a doctor who will examine the health of your eyes. I'm a mom of 5 boys who are my world. I regret ever having this surgery has it's destroyed all our lives. And had Botox with the doctor and she became very defensive and accusatory when I went back asking for a bit more on one side to correct a spock brow she had caused. I had been getting Botox for years at that point and most injectors want you to come back and see if they need to make little tweaks. Not her. She acted like I had no idea what I was talking about and that I was insulting her skills. Just ridiculous mean girl behavior from the whole staff. In an area teaming with plastic surgeons you can definitely do better than this practice.

I had a disappointing experience at Eye Care Unlimited on Crosby Avenue in the Bronx…read more I ordered polarized sunglasses with dark gray lenses, but when I picked them up, the lenses were not what I ordered. They appeared brown instead of dark gray, and the left lens was noticeably blurry. When I brought this to the clerk's attention, I was told to wear the glasses for two weeks to "get used to them." I explained that I wasn't comfortable doing that because the left lens was blurry and requested that the lenses be remade. Instead of addressing my concerns, the clerk insisted that I see the doctor again to review my prescription, even though I had my eye exam only 10 days earlier. I declined because I didn't believe another exam was necessary. The clerk then became rude and told me he was going to make a note on my account that I "refused to see the doctor." He also warned me that I would not be allowed to have the lenses changed again. I found this response unprofessional and felt that I was being pressured rather than helped. To the store's credit, the issue with the glasses was eventually resolved. The replacement lenses were the correct dark gray color, and the left lens was no longer blurry. However, I told the clerk that I felt he owed me an apology for the way he had treated me during the process. He refused to apologize. While I appreciate that the glasses were ultimately corrected, the poor customer service and lack of professionalism made what should have been a simple warranty correction into a frustrating experience. I hope management takes customer concerns more seriously and treats future customers with greater courtesy and respect.
