I received excellent medical care and treatment from Dr. Alam, Dr. Kavoosi, and nurses Kong, Mathew, Tonia, and other nurses and staffs that I did not get their names. The physicians are professionals, very knowledgeable and experienced. They pinpointed the root cause of my disease, gave me medications, and sent me through CT scan image diagnosis. They also gave me prescriptions and Otolaryngology referral through their health care networks, so I could expect full recovery from the disease. Nurses were very kind and care showing their professionalism. They gave me medicines though injections, asked me how I feel and what I need. They gave me ice water to drink and dry ice pad to relieve my pain. My pain reduced significantly after received medications and treatment. When I asked Tonia and another nurse "Is any vending machine around for milk and juice?" in the morning, they managed to give me small packages of milk and juice that, I guess, are from their or their friend medical staffs' personal lunch boxes. I am very grateful for doctors, nurses, and medical staffs of PMUCC.

I was in the Paediatrics Unit in Brampton Civic Hospital. I spent nearly a week there because I had…read moreabdominal pain, blood in stool, and I needed an endoscopy from a gastroenterologist, followed by treatment. Compared to all the other units in the hospital, the paediatrics unit was actually very caring and treated me well. They checked up on me every 15 minutes, took vitals, and did what they needed to do to ensure that I am well and safe. They provided me meals (breakfast, lunch, and supper), with a good quantity of food, and an OK taste. Moreover, all nurses were very thoughtful, kind, and took on immediate action to find the problem. I was even provided my own room, which included a private bathroom, and they even gave me a Nintendo to entertain myself. The reason why I gave my experience a 3-star was the poor cleanliness and some miscommunication with the nurses. First, with the cleanliness issue, the janitors did not do their job properly. For 2 days straight, they did not sweep, mop, or clean my room. We had to confront them for them to actually clean our room. Then, another 2 days went by, and our room still wasn't clean. Moreover, with the miscommunication part, I found that we had to constantly page the nurses and remind them to give my treatment/medication. That being said, once they did give my medication as early as 6am, they didn't even tell us when they gave it. I felt as communication could have been worked on, as well as the cleanliness of our room. Overall, the experience in the Peds unit as Brampton Civic was well. I've heard negative things at other units, but the nurses in this unit treated me with care, love, and kindness.

Given how far Brampton Civic is from meeting basic expectations, it is not unfair to compare them…read moreto a butcher shop. Our experiences with children who needed emergency care were below even whatever minimal standard qualifies as horrible. Unless it is literally a life-or-death moment now we leave Brampton and go to a real hospital. Sick Kids was once a go-to for children but it hs become so overcrowded that wait times are stupidly long. Amazingly, even though they are under same management, the Urgent Care facility is superior to the main hospital. That said, Brampton's butcher shop is not even in a runner-up queue when compared to other hospitals in GTA. , Today's very sad reality is, If your child needs urgent care, it is not a choice: you MUST leave Brampton and go to a real hospital.

came here to the emergency because my foot turned into a football, originally went to my doctors…read morebut they told me to go to the hospital instead YAY! My previous experiences with this hospital were not very good at all, quite the opposite and in the negative. This experience was much better, was able to hop around and find a wheelchair no problem. The staff were super friendly and worked with a sense of urgency, when it all was said and done, the visit took about 3 hours, the only thing that I have negative to say was that the doctor at the time read my xray wrong and I got a phone call the next day telling me very bad news. The hospital was very clean and bright. Lots of parking on site Transit options are the 123 and 80 buses, and the 15 with a bit of a walk from the mall.

The staff and services here are excellent. This is not a hospital as such as there are no inpatient…read moreservices and no emergency department. An urgent care centre (UCC) provides care for non emergency injuries and personal health issues. Sprains, cuts, rashes, broken fingers etc for example, as well as blocked catheters, urinary retention and post surgical complications if needed. Emergency care is provided at another site, as is inpatient care. This site provides investigative and pre operative work up, as well as rehabilitation on an outpatient basis. An army of knowledgeable volunteers and clerical staff ensure you are seen in good time. The UCC practices triage, so less urgent cases may wait a long time for treatment. These cases could probably get seen at a walk in clinic or at their own doctors. Properly utilized this can be a one stop shop. Before I retired as an RN I referred patients here appropriately and they received good care. My wife had her follow up care here after her knee replacement, and I have cardiac investigations done here. The one down side? The cost of parking, although options are available to reduce the cost for frequent attenders.

They are also lazy and treat no requests with priority. If you don't love your job, find another career. I'd never come back here. I didn't even leave, because I was concerned about my family being neglected and disrespected. You need to do surveys from the family's, do staff performance evaluations and hold them accountable. MENTAL HEALTH RED ALERT! STAY AWAY! RUN! AVOID this hospital at all cost…read more On Aug 5, 2025, Toronto Police 22nd Division took my severely delusional schizophrenic son from prison to this hospital emergency on his release from the prison. He was arrested and imprisoned because he had assaulted his older brother and me, his mother, while medicating himself with crystal meth. Almost three months time passed since that attack while he remained imprisoned without any treatment. The mental health nurses and the on-call emergency psychiatrist were all very disrespectful, rude, and angry with me. The psychiatrist literally told me and i quote "As the on-call emergency psychiatrist, my job is to admit and discharge patients." On my insistence, he kept my son overnight in the emergency mental health unit but released him the next morning before 10 AM without any assessment or treatment. My son and I walked out of the hospital together. My son is as much delusional as he was if not more delusional at the time he was arrested and imprisoned. I am helplessly watching my son being killed by the government that is eagerly punishing mentally ill people while denying them the treatment and care they deserve.
