Well I would like to start off with dr finelli and his operation staff, they were awesome they took…read morecare of me made me feel comfortable. Then I was brought to my room where the first nurse was obviously at the end of her shift n made it clear ring the bell once she was very rude then the next nurse was pretty much the same all sitting at the front talking about what there plans were for the weekend, i wasn't happy, now the A team shows up, Carmelo, jaspreet, Mia,ramiyca, forgive me if I spelled ur names wrong, u guys were awesome, made me feel comfortable, u can see that you guys love ur job and care about your patients, u guys deserve a raise and the other 2 need to get manners and learn to be kind, if u r there for the paycheck, they u need to work on a farm with the animals. Last but least there's something wrong with my stomach n it still hurts n the dr that was incharge I found that I was being rushed and the proper steps were not taken, I explained to doctors and nurses operating staff that I was constipated minimum 10 days before my surgery, now i have my surgery dec 10th. N im still constipated so now an additional 5 days they gave me laxative, suppository n they sent me home, well guess where I live Timmins Ontario, 8 hours away so because they discharge me i ask for some pain medication so I would not feel the pain which I am,I had to fight to get pain meds,5 of them n I have to cut them in half,im a cancer patient im in pain at least make me feel comfortable, so we will see what my next steps are, that's all for today

Our family's experience with Credit Valley Hospital's Adult Mental Health services highlighted…read moresignificant gaps in outpatient care coordination and follow-up. Following discharge, outpatient care appeared to focus primarily on medication monitoring, while broader recovery-oriented supports such as education, functional guidance, and connection to community resources were limited. As a result, much of the responsibility for navigating disability applications, coordinating supports, and ensuring continuity of care fell to our family, despite the patient's psychiatric condition affecting their ability to manage these responsibilities independently. Communication with affiliated services, including the nearby clinic responsible for administering injectable medication, was also challenging. Phone calls were often not answered, messages were not returned consistently, and rescheduling appointments was difficult. Most concerning, when an injection appointment was missed, there was no proactive follow-up from the care team, despite medication adherence being described as a central goal of treatment. I also contacted Patient Relations to raise concerns about these gaps in coordination and follow-up. While my concerns were acknowledged, there was no meaningful follow-through, guidance, or resolution. This created a situation where families were expected to play a central role in coordinating care but had limited access to support or accountability processes when concerns arose. I do want to acknowledge that individual staff were professional and respectful in their interactions. However, our overall experience highlighted opportunities for improvement in continuity of care, communication, and recovery-oriented outpatient support. My hope is that Credit Valley Hospital continues strengthening outpatient mental health coordination and follow-up so that patients and families receive more comprehensive and reliable support after discharge.

The maternity ward staff are extremely rude. I'm truly disappointed. They should show more empathy…read moreand compassion to new parents, already overwhelmed with a new baby. They are also lazy and treat no requests with priority. If you don't love your job, find another career. I'd never come back here. I didn't even leave, because I was concerned about my family being neglected and disrespected. You need to do surveys from the family's, do staff performance evaluations and hold them accountable. My daughter had a baby a Cortelluci hospital in Vaughan 3 months ago and it was absolutely amazing experience in all units.

MENTAL HEALTH RED ALERT! STAY AWAY! RUN! AVOID this hospital at all cost…read more On Aug 5, 2025, Toronto Police 22nd Division took my severely delusional schizophrenic son from prison to this hospital emergency on his release from the prison. He was arrested and imprisoned because he had assaulted his older brother and me, his mother, while medicating himself with crystal meth. Almost three months time passed since that attack while he remained imprisoned without any treatment. The mental health nurses and the on-call emergency psychiatrist were all very disrespectful, rude, and angry with me. The psychiatrist literally told me and i quote "As the on-call emergency psychiatrist, my job is to admit and discharge patients." On my insistence, he kept my son overnight in the emergency mental health unit but released him the next morning before 10 AM without any assessment or treatment. My son and I walked out of the hospital together. My son is as much delusional as he was if not more delusional at the time he was arrested and imprisoned. I am helplessly watching my son being killed by the government that is eagerly punishing mentally ill people while denying them the treatment and care they deserve.

came here to the emergency because my foot turned into a football, originally went to my doctors…read morebut they told me to go to the hospital instead YAY! My previous experiences with this hospital were not very good at all, quite the opposite and in the negative. This experience was much better, was able to hop around and find a wheelchair no problem. The staff were super friendly and worked with a sense of urgency, when it all was said and done, the visit took about 3 hours, the only thing that I have negative to say was that the doctor at the time read my xray wrong and I got a phone call the next day telling me very bad news. The hospital was very clean and bright. Lots of parking on site Transit options are the 123 and 80 buses, and the 15 with a bit of a walk from the mall.

The staff and services here are excellent. This is not a hospital as such as there are no inpatient…read moreservices and no emergency department. An urgent care centre (UCC) provides care for non emergency injuries and personal health issues. Sprains, cuts, rashes, broken fingers etc for example, as well as blocked catheters, urinary retention and post surgical complications if needed. Emergency care is provided at another site, as is inpatient care. This site provides investigative and pre operative work up, as well as rehabilitation on an outpatient basis. An army of knowledgeable volunteers and clerical staff ensure you are seen in good time. The UCC practices triage, so less urgent cases may wait a long time for treatment. These cases could probably get seen at a walk in clinic or at their own doctors. Properly utilized this can be a one stop shop. Before I retired as an RN I referred patients here appropriately and they received good care. My wife had her follow up care here after her knee replacement, and I have cardiac investigations done here. The one down side? The cost of parking, although options are available to reduce the cost for frequent attenders.
