I received excellent medical care and treatment from Dr. Alam, Dr. Kavoosi, and nurses Kong, Mathew, Tonia, and other nurses and staffs that I did not get their names. The physicians are professionals, very knowledgeable and experienced. They pinpointed the root cause of my disease, gave me medications, and sent me through CT scan image diagnosis. They also gave me prescriptions and Otolaryngology referral through their health care networks, so I could expect full recovery from the disease. Nurses were very kind and care showing their professionalism. They gave me medicines though injections, asked me how I feel and what I need. They gave me ice water to drink and dry ice pad to relieve my pain. My pain reduced significantly after received medications and treatment. When I asked Tonia and another nurse "Is any vending machine around for milk and juice?" in the morning, they managed to give me small packages of milk and juice that, I guess, are from their or their friend medical staffs' personal lunch boxes. I am very grateful for doctors, nurses, and medical staffs of PMUCC.

You do not HAVE TO pay for anything you don't want to pay for. I have been a patient since 2015. I was seen by the CEO, Dr G*** at a walk-in. I asked him a question about a possible drug interaction that was flagged at my pharmacy and he suggested I pay $200 out of pocket for a DNA profile that tests how my body reacts to medications (up sell). That incident aside, when I see my regular physician assistant I feel my health is taken care of. I often get an appointment the same week I call in and I rarely wait long in the waiting room. PS: They moved to 2 Kennedy Rd S near the intersection of Queen in 2017.

A few months in all of a sudden you can't check in in person. A tablet on the desk you have to use. Phone number has been disconnected and you have to pay monthly to make an appointment online only. WTF!!!!!????? So I can't speak to a human on the phone and I have to pay to make an appointment online with a subscription. I should have realized they suck after seeing ads in the office for superficial fat hiding treatments. This is a business before health system set up. Apparently they are trying to provide the shit service they are used to in their home countries.

He kept saying the radiologist found my arthritis was only mild so all I needed was Tylenol. I finally wound up at the ER at Brampton Civic in excruciating pain, and after taking x-rays they told me I needed a hip replacement a.s.a.p. because there was no cartilage left in the joint. Then he was angry because I did not have the money to have the surgery immediately because of the lack of rent money for my basement apartment during the three months I would be off work. "You won't have the surgery because of money?" he demanded to know. Hello! Though I had been using a cane for years, and still needed one a year after the surgery (it did not go as well as hoped), knowing this, he still refused to sign a form that I was had a disability. He also got angry with me when I refused to take all sorts of vaccinations (there is history there). He is just not a good listener, and though a quiet man, showed very little compassion. Thank God there are physicians taking new patients again. I don't doubt this was a personality issue, as I had been in the medical field for years myself, but I felt he took exception to a female questioning his thinking. He's okay for vaccinations and simple stuff if you don't question him or believe in more holistic approaches.
