My wife and I chose Dr. Tiffany Chen after extensive research. We loved her relaxing calm demeanor…read moreand her confidence. I have taken a little while to write this review as it's been a crazy month with Covid taking its toll on the country. My wife and I are 45, and this was our 5th and final attempt to have a baby with IVF. Dr. Chen was very aware of how invested we were and took very good care of us all the way through. We decided to induce a week early on 3-8-2020. We went in on 3-7 to start the ripening of the cervix. By 10 PM on 3-8 everything was starting to move and my wife got her epidural. Dr. Chen was on a 24 hour shift and was scheduled to leave at 7 AM. We knew this and were getting anxious to have our baby and have Dr. Chen deliver her. At 7 Dr. Chen came in and said she wanted to stay a little longer after her shift because she was so invested with us and our baby. By 9 AM things were starting to move. At 9:40 our daughter got caught in the birth canal. Shoulder dystocia happens when the baby's shoulder gets caught behind the mother's pubic bone. Within seconds Dr. Chen went into action, she declared it an emergency and at least a dozen people started running into our room. I was pushed aside and five people started working on getting our baby out as quickly as possible as she was being starved of oxygen. As brief background, my sister's son had the same birth issue, but was caught in the birth canal too long. He spent 36 days at Children's Hospital after a life flight from Yakima. He almost died a couple times and we were told he would be mentally handicapped for life, etc. He turned out fine, but we were very aware of what can happen with shoulder dystocia. During this entire ordeal Dr. Chen stayed calm, while I did not, and she had our daughter out in less than a minute and a half. She immediately handed her to the emergency personnel that had ran into help and it took them a 1:45 to get her to start breathing. She had the breathing mask on and everything. The second she made her first cry our hearts started beating again. She was pulled out and resuscitated so quickly that she had zero issues despite her traumatic birth. We came to find out that Dr. Chen's office practices this technique weekly to prepare for this kind of emergency. We feel as though we owe our daughter's health to Dr. Chen. Had she not stayed almost four hours after her shift and had she not practiced this emergency procedure to the extent that she had, we feel that we would have been in the same predicament that my sister went through with an extended hospital stay and fighting to keep our baby alive. If you read this Dr. Chen, we are forever grateful for you and your attention to us. Our daughter is wonderful and we owe a lot of that to you. Thank you from the fullness of our hearts.

She takes the time to truly listen to your symptoms and prescribes the most effective treatment for your condition. She also asks thorough questions about your overall health from head to toe. Today, I had a very severe case of the flu. Although Dr. Nguyen was fully booked, her kind associate, Uyen, checked with her, and Dr. Nguyen still made time to squeeze me in because I urgently needed Tamiflu. She consistently goes above and beyond to ensure her patients receive the best possible care. I will definitely recommend Dr. Nguyen to all of my family members and relatives. She also performs important screenings to help prevent ovarian cancer. I highly recommend Dr. Vivian Nguyen to anyone looking for a doctor who is compassionate, patient, and extremely knowledgeable.

As a new patient, I had to fill out several forms but it went very quickly since I filled everything out on their ipad. The office is nice and spacious and the staff is friendly. They start by taking your vitals in a little side room, which is actually open to the public and can be seen from the waiting area, which I thought was a little weird. It's not like I was undressed or anything at that point, but just the fact that people can watch you stand on the scale and have your blood pressure taken feels like it should be more private. After that I was taken to an exam room to wait but was told they were waiting for another room to open up for the doctor to see me. I waited for about 15 minutes and then they moved me to the exam room right next door, which apparently was my "official" exam room. I then waited again, and finally the doctor came. To be fair, she apologized for making me wait and said that she was exceptionally busy that day. My overall impression of Dr. Quy is that she knows her stuff and listens well, despite being in a hurry. I had some knee pain and she did a quick physical exam and quickly came to the same conclusion as what I had suspected. She seemed very practical, knowledgeable and was not dismissive as some doctors can be. After my appointment I set up my online patient portal, which was a very easy and straightforward process.

I'm very disappointed with my experience with the staff today…read more I called because I wanted to make an appointment for my daughter and briefly explained her symptoms and concerns. I was only trying to give the staff member enough information to understand why I was calling. Instead, she told me that I was talking too much and wasting her time, and that next time I shouldn't talk so much. I was honestly shocked and very upset by the way she spoke to me. In my past experiences with doctor's offices, staff usually ask what the problem is and why I need an appointment, so I thought I was doing the right thing. The doctor may be good, but the way this staff member treated me was extremely rude and made me feel very uncomfortable.

I'm very disappointed with my parents' experience with this office, particularly regarding the…read morebilling. They were charged an additional $75 per visit even though their insurance representative explained to us that, based on their coverage and deductible status, they should not have been charged that amount beyond the applicable copay. We contacted the office billing department to clarify the discrepancy, but the explanation we received did not match what the insurance representative told us. What concerned us even more was the difficulty we had getting a clear answer. The office appeared reluctant to speak with the insurance company directly, and when we tried to call again to clarify the billing and claims, the call was ended before we could get a satisfactory explanation. As patients, we should be able to trust that claims are being submitted correctly and that we are being charged according to our insurance benefits. The situation made us feel that the office was attempting to collect additional out-of-pocket payments rather than properly processing the insurance claim. I'm not making an accusation of fraud, but the way this situation was handled raised serious concerns about the accuracy and transparency of their billing practices. I strongly recommend that patients carefully review their insurance statements, claims, and charges from this office before paying any additional amounts. The office should provide patients with clear and accurate explanations instead of avoiding the insurance company or ending calls when patients ask for clarification.

Dr. Dang is patient, kind, and genuinely committed to making sure his patients receive the care they need. My parents have several age‑related health concerns, and he has helped stabilize their conditions with consistent monitoring and thoughtful treatment. With his thorough checkups and attentive care, my parents are the healthiest they've been in years. His front office staff is also wonderful. They're professional, efficient, and truly some of the sweetest people you'll meet. I noticed some negative reviews and wanted to address them. The longer wait times happen because Dr. Dang doesn't rush appointments. He listens, he explains, and he gives real guidance. That level of care takes time. When it's your turn, he'll give you the same attention, so patience is part of the experience. As for frequent visits throughout the year, that's simply responsible medical care. Your body changes, medications need adjusting, and regular follow‑ups ensure everything is still working as intended. Some people don't seem to understand that this is how good healthcare works. If I could give more stars, I would. Highly recommend.

Unfortunately, her English communication is very poor, which can make things difficult and confusing. The office itself was extremely cluttered. There were Buddha statues everywhere, and patient charts were literally piled on the floor. There was barely enough room to walk through the office comfortably, and it did not feel organized or professional. What concerned me the most was that every time my mom visited, the doctor would ask her, "What kind of medicine would you like today?" That honestly shocked me. A patient in her 60s should not be deciding what medication to prescribe for herself. I would expect a doctor to evaluate symptoms and recommend the proper treatment professionally. Overall, this experience left me very uncomfortable and concerned about the quality of care.

By 11:31 AM, I still had not even been seen by the doctor for my 11:00 appointment. What is frustrating is that patients are repeatedly reminded to arrive on time and warned that appointments may be cancelled if we are late. I completely understand that medical offices can occasionally run behind, but I believe the same respect for time should go both ways. If the doctor is running more than 30 minutes behind, patients should at least be informed and given an updated expected wait time. We arrange our schedules and arrive on time because the office requires it. I hope the practice improves its scheduling and communication so patients' time is treated with the same consideration.
