I had a difficult upper right molar extraction for my fourth tooth WORK there. Dr. Cho stayed supportive for almost a year to get the tooth "right and balanced" for my mouth - having appointments that were not charged all year long. That says a lot all by itself. It was my "old" but implanted like the Rock of Gibraltar - after all. He could not have done more. If you are considering anything that he specializes in; I highly recommend giving him the nod to do it. I guess my journey started 12 years ago when I meet the love of my life Ana. We met on Eharmony and we clicked right away. I guess you can call me Shriek and Ana is definitely the princess. I'm a very lucky man. Ana was a dental assistant and she was always on me about my teeth. I would brush my teeth twice a day but I didn't floss regularly. I had a bad experience as a child with a dentist. My motto, "If my teeth don't hurt, I'm okay." My teeth never really hurt until I went to the dentist to see if there were any problems. Ana would lay me down on her lap and floss my teeth for me. Wow...now that's love. Ana still loved me and kissed me all the time but I always felt ashamed of my teeth. Most of my teeth were in pretty good shape. I don't smoke and I don't do drugs so I didn't have major issues. Nevertheless, I hated taking pictures and smiling. I'm not the smiling type. Ana took me to Dr Cho's office and as soon as I met the Dr I felt at ease. Dr Cho made me feel comfortable and just by looking at the guy I knew he was the best. I didn't have the money for implants at the time so Dr Cho added some bone to that loose canine tooth and we took it one day at a time. I had perodontal disease. Dr Cho conducted a flap surgery where he separated my gums from my teeth and did a deep cleaning. I did this procedure twice. I then followed up with routine cleaning every six months. Dr Cho did an excellent job on each surgery. I always left his office in a minimum amount of pain. That was definitely a relief not to be walking around in pain. The years went by and I was a few years away from retirement. After retirement I would be able to afford the implants. The tooth Dr Cho added bone to lasted approximately 6 years. It was becoming loose and Dr Cho advised me I would most likely lose the tooth. Dr Cho completed the implant surgery and I finally have the teeth I can be proud of. I was so frustrated with my teeth that I told a nurse I was going to go to that other place and have all my teeth pulled out in one day. The nurse advised me not to do that. The nurse, from another dental office, told me to go to Dr Cho's. This guy is well known. I'm glad I took the nurse's advise. Not to mention my lady told me to go to Dr Cho's years ago. The princess/boss is always right. I would like to thank Dr Cho's staff, especially Rena. Rena was the bomb diggity. Rena answered all my questions and kept me at ease reference the financial portion of this venture. Dr Cho is definitely heaven sent. This Dr cares for his patients and gives the best treatment imaginable. When you go to Dr. Cho's office you know from the time you walk in your in good hands. He tried to save a poorly done implant by a previous dentist, but I ended up needing it removed altogether, although that was not a fun experience, I feel much better knowing an experience periodontist helped me. Always listen to your wife, she told me that Dr. Cho is practicing painless dentistry. It's true, after I went for a graft and implant in one shot for less then an hour time and with no pain at all. I have to admit, that I got a major case of dental phobia, coming from my experience with a Free dental care back in the old country (granted we are talking 60 st & 70 st of the last century). The filling were done without anesthesia (with a very slow moving drill machine), same for root canals (no anesthesia), only extractions were performed with the injection of Novocaine (it's why I lost a lot of teeth). One more thing - for a crown - your are not getting temporary. So, as you can see, I was very scared of a titanium implant being screwed into your jaw, but Dr. Cho and his crew made it painless, and after 4 months I'm ready for real crown. Yesterday, 09/29/22, I had a crown falling off all on its own. It was a crown on a pole, and it was my front tooth too. I immediately called my dentist. Since it was after 4pm, their office was already closed. I left them a message (not sure how they understood me - I realized how difficult it is to speak without a front tooth!) My dentist's office texted me right away asking me to take pictures of the crown and the 'what's left' in my mouth. The pole snapped and half of it was left in my root and the other half of it was in my crown. Well, this pole was at least 23 years old! I was scheduled me for the following morning appointment right away. Right there we got arranged for me to see a Dr. William Cho for an implant. Luckily the office of Dr. Cho was very close. Dr. Cho's day was a short one, but they also extended their day to do my implant. His whole staff and Dr. Cho worked an extra hour after their working hours to do my implant. I was really impressed by Dr. Cho's office, work and professionalism! They extracted the root very nicely. The whole job took at most 30-40 min and it's been 10 hours since the procedure and I still do not feel any pain! By 1:30 PM of the same day I already had my implant installed. By 3:30 PM my dentist installed a temporary crown in my mouth. When I got home I couldn't believe everything was done in one day, and the next day after the crown fell out! I was without my tooth for less than 24 hours! That is really impressive! Now I can feel comfortable to go back to work on Monday! I wanted to hug them ALL: Dr. Cho and my dentist, and their amazing team! My words cannot describe the gratitude I feel for both offices and doctors! My family dentist discovered that I had a bone issue that I would need a bone grafting surgery. They initially scheduled me with their partner but a month before my surgery, I was told that the partner will no longer be their partner and I needed to look for a new one. I got on yelp and found Dr. Cho. I couldn't be happier with my choice. He is phenomenal!!!! When I had my consultation appointment with him, he explained why I would need the surgery, how he would do, how long it would take and how much it would cost, etc. He is extremely patient , excellent and very gentle at what he does. On my surgery day, he was making sure that I would have the least pain experience as much as possible. The whole surgery took less than one hour, and it was really a pain LESS experience. I also just recently saw him to take a look at another possible gum issue, but turned out it wasn't gum-related. Can't recommend Dr. Cho enough. I went to Dr. Cho for an implant on my front tooth. The office staff were super accommodating, and got me right in for a consultation - and then put me in the first time slot that opened up. Dr. Cho really knows what he's doing. My dentist told me that he is amazing, and I fully agree. The implant procedure took just over an hour, and I literally felt zero pain. They gave me some headphones and I just listened to music and pretended that I wasn't really there. After the procedure, I only needed to take one dose of ibuprofen. Who is excited to go see a dentist when your general dentist can't help you ? Anything related to oral surgery makes me concerned and nervous. I experienced this in 2017 when I visited Doctor Cho but my anxiety was quickly put to rest upon sitting down in the chair. Dr Cho is amazing at explaining everything up front and as he goes along. I had a tooth pulled for extraction and it was done in no time. My implant was perfect and I went along enjoying my new implant. In 2021 I had another root canal get infected.
