The person taking my x-rays made it easy, and my hygienist was gentle and talked me through everything as she went, which I really appreciated. However, all the girls in the back are super nice, professional and great. I absolutely do not recommend Dr. Traxler. He was quite dismissive with me many times. He recommended I have a bone graft and osseous surgery for an ongoing issue I was having with gum along back molar. He knew that I had been on oral and IV bisphosphonate drugs but didn't advise me of some of the issues these could cause with surgery. I had major problems after surgery including two areas of bone exposure along the gum line and delayed healing. He was very dismissive during each after visit and said, I just need to have that tooth pulled. I had always told him that I wanted to keep the tooth as I knew pulling a tooth could lead to many other issues. But he did not want to work with me in preserving the tooth and/or helping me to get this area healed. He said there was nothing more he could do, just go to a surgeon. I immediately changed periodontists. The current doctor was kind, caring, professional and worked with me to save my tooth. And all areas of bone exposure have now healed. Please be careful with this office.
