The second time was insanely long and my hair got fried but I was planning to give a third time because I alway give places 3 tries. Well I just called (same day as my appointment) to reschedule because of personal reasons (they never asked and since it's personal I wasn't open to share unless asked) and they told me since it's within their cancellation window they will be charging me the full $185 amount for me to not get my hair done. This place wasn't even good let alone great in order to come back. Also, my hair was always well into the $300 and I do baby lights. I did toner once and $300+ for a level 1 is insane!! I will never be returning.

Secondly, I got my haircut by Mary, and she absolutely saved me. I came in with very damaged hair past my shoulders, and I really didn't think there was much we could do to improve my hair. But Mary was so kind and warm and so thoughtful in listening to what problems I had with my hair, and came up with an absolute masterpiece. She was able to make my hair look so much healthier, thicker, and remove so much of the damaged hair but still give me such a flattering cut with amazing layers that frame my face. She even gave me product recs and wrote tips on how I could style my hair- seriously an angel wow. I feel so lucky to have come across this salon on a random day when I was really frustrated with my hair. I would highly highly highly recommend, especially with Mary! All my love for Dollhouse :))))

I cannot recommend premiere salon enough…read more First: IT IS an Aveda salon, but no one pressures you to buy products! Phew! ‍ but in the past I've most definitely purchased products because 1. It smelt amazing and 2. The product did what I wanted, but was never offered or asked to buy the product. Second: regardless of who I've seen to have a hair cut services.... 100% amazing. This salon clearly selects stylist who are skilled and talented. Third: I noticed a "place to sit" in the "lobby" since my last review (likely on google reviews); (Thankfully, this most recent journey to this salon I'm not pregnant) there is some sort of seating. I recognize this is a small salon. Half merchandise, half salon, but there is the seat if you do in fact need to sit. Finally, I've gone to this salon for short haircuts, which can be "scary," but I've been nothing but pleased. It is now my "go-to" in Olympia." The stylist are incredible and the products they used an are amazing. I don't know if it's just me, but love the simplicity when it comes to "styling" my hair. I am super basic and don't want the over the top "styling." I want a style that is practical for me and a style that I know I can do on my own, especially when it comes to a shorter/bob -type hairstyle. Overall, very pleased and have had my hair cut here in medium to short hair styles. I even brought my daughter to get her hair trimmed here! Worth the money, the time, and the trust!

She really cares about her clients and the health of their hair - if what you want can damage your hair, she goes over it with you. She is unlike others, who do whatever for money. Her costs are totally fair, and if she doesn't vibe with someone she won't book them. The products she uses are always top notch, and she is consistently finding new products to share that add hair health attributes while in her chair, and at home. She takes absolute pride in being the new owner of Blue Sparrow Salon! She is very diligent in ensuring it remains a drama-free, safe, relaxing space. Also, the salon location is great with plenty of parking. Overall, I'd give it a 10 out of 5 if I could! P.S. As you read any business reviews on Yelp or Google, keep in mind the reviews can be left by literally anyone; there is no proof needed that the reviewer actually tried out the business. Reviews may be left by honest people, or cowards hiding behind pseudonyms *ahem, Sandy A.* .. or left on the wrong business with the same name .. all of which impact small businesses. All that to say - if you get less than stellar service anywhere talk to the owner - they can't fix what they don't know! Don't be a Sandy A.!
